The boys must be so excited to be once again performing with Placido Domingo !!! One by one all their dreams are becoming a reality !! I hope Gianluca gets to sing Sinatra !! Bravo Il Volo !!!!
I have a confession to make. I have been suffering with this terrible guilt for some time now. It just. won’t. go. away.
So I say this with great trepidation and the possible scorn of my beloved IL VOLO but…
There is one song that I do not like…..it is….
Canto with Placido Domingo.
There, I said it, there is no going back but I now freely admit that most of the time when this song comes on I skip it.. I just do not appreciate Placido singing with my guys.
Now you tell me they will be in concert together???
You are absolutely correct! I only want to hear IL VOLO singNOt Babs, Belinda or Placido. But… I will be willing to admit that a concert with the Maestro will bring them good publicity especially in Italy.

This is important for them. Singing with Domingo who is, for them, a mentor and a maestro. In the world of quality singing Il Volo singing with Domingo on a concert is wonderful. Hooray for them.
I’ve got to tell you, Myron, that I much prefer them singing with Domingo rather than someone like Belinda. They consider singing with Domingo an honor, I know. Belinda, I think, was someone’s idea of trying to get cross-over appeal to the younger Hispanic market, do you think?

I was looking for the video of Il Volo in Russia – could find only Al Bano in Russia 2013 – a 2-hour program of great entertainment. BTW – my Duolingo lessons are great. I reached another level today with a timed practice – beat the clock with 20 correct answers. All because of Il Volo….
