  1. I wish I had an address to send flowers. If someone has that I will send some on behalf of Flight Crew. I remember a year and half ago when Gianluca lost his Grandmother – it hurt. These kids (I use that term on purpose) are very much family, thank God. So it hurts. I admit I have tears right now writing this and wish I could be there to give a hug.

      1. Yes, I will take up your offer. I put in a call to the office but it is very late and I may not hear back in a timely fashion since it is Sunday. So I will email you. thanks.

    1. Flowers update on Sunday: flowers order has been sent (we got the address) but local florist in Marsala will not deliver until Monday morning. Should have confirmation then.

      1. Thank you Myron for doing this! I wish there was some we could help pay for the flowers you are sending. I am sure we are all grateful for your thoughtfulness.

      2. Thank you so much for taking care of this, Myron. What a huge heart you have. 8. Ignazio, God Bless.
Love is surrounding you, your family, and all who know and love your Nonno.

When my husband died 14 years ago, it was as if having an angel in heaven brought me ever closer to God and the angels, including the spirit of my husband.

No doubt your Nonno is very proud of you and will be smiling and dancing with and for you through each new adventure throughout your life.

It’s possible that you can write to your Nonno and that you can feel what he wants to write back to you. (This happened twice with my husband. It was beautiful.)

  20. Blessings and love to Ignazio and all of his family. I hope he finds comfort in the fact that his Nonno lived to see him achieve success with his beautiful gift of song, and will be smiling down upon him with every NEW success. And Myron, how sweet of you to send flowers on the behalf of all of us here who love Il Volo. I, too, would like to contribute to the cost of the flowers, just tell me how! Love to you all!

  21. Hi, to all fans on this site. I am touched by your desire to share the cost of flowers sent to Ignazio’s home to honor his grandfather. I have been excited to see the large number of responses either here on this site or on my email address which by the way, is open to Il Volo fans. It is no secret: meheaton@earthlink.net
I could not think of taking money for this. I did it for two reasons: share my own care for Ignazio (like my own son who is close in age) and also to let them know that Flight Crew is the home of caring fans – I think the best one on the web.

Some of you are aware that I have been trying to work with Barbara Vitali about starting an “authorized” International Fan Club to help boost support for IL VOLO and one of the functions (as with some other fan clubs) is to get the boys involved in a charity fund raiser. example: Justin Timberlake runs a pro-am celebrity golf game each year with proceeds going to Shriner’s Children’s hospitals. I have proposed a pro-am soccer game once a year (since the boys like to play soccer) with proceeds going to a charity of their choice – St. Jude’s children’s hospital has been mentioned. I am hopeful that this will get approved since it would be great for the charity and great for Il Volo and their place in society.
When that happens please donate to that charity.
In the meantime, you are invited to email me if you wish. Like I said, Il Volo fans are welcome.

    1. Beautiful, Myron. Thank you for your generous out-reach to Ignazio’s family, for your leadership, vision, and persistence in these wonderful goals. Thank you for sharing the gift of your connection and vision with us here on the Flight Crew.

Grateful to be Sharing the Love,
      ~ Jeanine DuBois, Compassion’s Doorway

    2. Thank you Myron once again for this wonderful gesture.
Your idea is excellent and I hope it comes to fruition.

    3. Thanks so much for your generosity. I was going to ask to be able to help you with the flower expense also. What a fantastic idea of the charity fund raiser with Il Volo sponsoring it! We are monthly donors ( Partners In Hope) to St . Jude’s! This is very near and dear to our hearts! Please keep pushing ahead on this idea! I will certainly be happy to help in anyway I can! We live in Tennessee. My email is: breeding_anna@yahoo.com. God bless you.

    4. Thank you for sending flowers in the name of the Flight Crew… You are a very compassionate person to give so much of yourself not only to our group with your thoughtfulness and valuable expertise in music but also to Il Volo … We are privileged to have you in our group and Il Volo and their Team are lucky to have you as a fan and professional in the music world they live in…

    5. Myron, it was so kind of you to send flowers to Ignazio for the death of his grandfather and to include the Flight Crew Members in it also.

I think that the St. Jude’s children’s hospital is a great Charity, and we all can see that Our Boys love children. I personally donate to them all the time. Most of the time I make a donation to St. Jude’s instead of sending flowers for a funeral. Everyone loves children and it is just so sad that these little children come down with cancer and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital is so great to help them, whether their families can afford it or not.

      Thank You Myron!

  22. Dear Ignazio,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family for the loss of your Nonno. When my husband died someone sent this to me with his picture and I would like to share it with you
“DO BELIEVE I’LL NEVER LEAVE YOU
ALWAYS I’LL BE IN YOUR HEART
DON’T FORGET MY SOUL IS NEAR YOU
AND SO WE WILL NEVER BE APART”

I TRULY BELIEVE THIS FOR I SOMETIME FEEL MY HUSBAND IS NEAR ME WHEN I AM SAD. SING FOR YOUR NONNO SWEETHEART. HE WILL BE NEARBY WATCHING AND LISTENING WITH SO MUCH PRIDE. MUCH LOVE TO YOU AND YOURS.

  23. Dear Ignazio,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved Nonno. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family at this time. Your Nonno will always be with you in spirit, watching down from heaven.

  24. I, too, would like to thank you Myron for sending flowers to the Boschetto family. It was a very warm and generous thing to do to convey that all of us on this site have them in our thoughts ad prayers.
