    1. Loretta, where did you read that at?? Last I read they were deciding about even coming back here on tour cause they weren’t sure we were still interested in them. I hope you are right about another tour, cause that would be upsetting if they thought of us that way 🙁

      1. Frieda the person on another site said they were going to Australia, Japan & USA was mentioned last. They didn’t say when so I assume it is the next tour in 2015. These guys wouldn’t do anything to upset us because they are in touch with the board members on this site & other higher ups. They are always hionest & up front & if they can’t speak about something then they say so. I’m sorry if that upset you

      2. OMG..not interested! where did they get that horrible idea! We need to erase this thought. I think there is more interest here in the USA than ever. I hope they come and I will go to every concert possible with the meet and greet, too!

  1. I am smiling because….I am still out of the hospital and have our guys to turn to and my il volo family also to help cheer me up when I have my hard times I go through. I give God thanks for you all everyday that you exist in my life. <3

    1. That makes two. Feel better Frieda. I am feeling a little down today and just coming here helps to cheer me up.

    2. We are there for each other. I also experienced this wonderful bonding feeling from the Il Volo family. Good luck and speedy recovery.

    3. Speedy recovery Frieda. We are all thinking of you. I too, had some low points this past month. Listening to our guys just makes all the difference. I start my day at 5am and the tablet comes to life, the ear phones go on and viola’, a big smile start to appear on my face. My entire family loves how enthusiastic I am when talking about IL VOLO. I can’t stop once I get going about our lovely guys. Feel better soon dear.

  2. I’m smiling because I get to look at all their great pictures every day and because we have sites like this one to visit and meet all you fans, maybe not in person, but who knows?, I may even get to meet some you in person some day, at least I hope so. Thank you for giving us this opportunity!!!

  3. I am smiling because the boys had such great success in Italy. Now they can concentrate on the rest of the world and hopefully this time TEXAS.

  4. I’m smiling because I’m having a wonderful Birthday today !!
I just can’t believe that one year ago I was celebrating my 70th Birthday at an Il Volo concert in Orlando FL. Boy how time flies !!! A very special way to celebrate a very special Birthday !!
M I ‘ m thrilled about Our Guys success in their homeland and I ‘ m smiling from ear to ear because their coming back to the USA again !! Can’t wait !!!

  5. I’m smiling because even when I am miles away from my IL VOLO CD’s I always have an excellent CD player in my mind and it replays any song of theirs I want, even the ones not on any CD’s! Worked great at the beach this last weekend.

  6. I agree with you 100% Loretta! That picture above is great! Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio look sooo handsome. And that’s reason enough to make me smile! Just wish we would get some news about what our Guys are up to these days. Then I would really smile!

    1. I found this on Il Volo Mundial:

      Moscow Concert
A concert of the Italian trio Il Volo in the concert hall “Barvikha Luxury Village” will be held with the support of the Brioni designer house Brioni on 4th of October.

Il Volo was formed relatively recently – in 2009 – but has already won fans around the world. This is understandable: a trio of young Italian refutes all the stereotypes about classical music – and gives it a new, very modern sound. Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble has received several musical awards and worked with international stars like Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion. And soon we will be able to appreciate the talent of the Italians in our country: The concert will be held on October 4 in the concert hall “Village Barvikha Luxury” This night will be a presentation of the autumn-winter collection of the official partner of the event, Brioni House. \

Brioni: famous Italian fashion house. The guys have been wearing a lot of Brioni lately.

  7. I am smiling because both Gianluca and Piero enjoyed a shopping day in Milan and they both tweeted the pictures. How sweet of them to keep us informed!

I am smiling also from reading all the loving, joyful, and sometime humorous birthday messages on all the birthday cards for Ignazio I have received so far.

Folks, if you haven’t send a card and want to do so, there is still time and there is always express mail. Keep in mind I need to receive all card by 9/30.

    1. Elaine, I’m just curious. Would you let us know how many cards, or how many pounds of cards you ultimately send to Ignazio? I think this whole idea is simply a gas!

    2. Thank you Elaine for doing this for us all and for Ignazio. I already sent mine to you. How thoughtful you are.

  8. I’m smiling because …
I just got back from a yummy vacation with 2 buddies at a relaxing, gorgeous river AND, unlike others who pair wine and cheese, I paired the river’s majesty and IL VOLO’s magical Io Che Non Vivo Senza Te!

How I hope these songs will be on IL VOLO’s next album:
Io Che Non Vivo Senza Te
    Ignazio’s Quando L’Amore Diventa Poesia
    Gianluca’s Anema E Core
Gian’s I Can’t Help Falling In Love with You
    Piero’s No Puede Ser
    IL VOLO’s Caruso

Meanwhile, warm wishes and prayers go out to our friends celebrating birthdays (including Ignazio before you know it!), our friends healing after ill health, our Guys in their travels, and a beloved friend in our Quaker Meeting who died last week. Blessings to all.

Thinking of you and missing you, Marie friend!

    1. Sounds like you had a wonderful, restful vacation, good for you! I second your choice of songs for their next CD!

      1. Thanks, Connie!
It was spectacular. So beautiful and such precious friends!

Yah, that was just a starter wish list for the Guys’ next CD.

Does anyone else feel absolutely smitten by
IO CHE NON VIVO SENZA TE? I looked up the words in English, and the Italian sung by the one and only IL VOLO feels so different than the “translation”. I feel caught up in the swaying, our soaring hearts, and of course IL VOLO’s musical majesty!

It feels to me as though this song has a huge history of Italians communing in joy, as if just mentioning the song makes them feel togetherness. I feel this as though I had lived such experiences many times myself. Does anyone else?

Any Italians out there to speak to your heritage with this song?

Loving Life in our global village,
