  1. I’m smiling because the Boys are back home after a fantastic show in Russia and they can relax for awhile with home cooking and sunshine!

  2. I am smiling because the boys looked so great in their new evening suits. I am smiling that we might hear them on the record released November 4th by Ricardo Montaner . A song called “Mas Alla”.
Wish we had more English articles telling us how IL Volo did in their Russian concert.

  3. I’m smiling because despite all the bad and evil of the world its still a world with the marvelous IL VOLO in it. I continue to smile as I remember my evening in Saratoga in June, I smile whenever I see my picture with them and I smile a little smile to myself whenever I think about how I lay my hand on Piero’s chest and called him “ThunderBarone.” all while looking into those wonderful big brown eyes.

    Yep…all that makes me smile

    1. Wow. you actually did that! I am so gelous but now I, too, am smiling as I remember the June 26th concert in Philadelphia when I touched all 3 of them. I will relive this memory forever!

    2. You have just the right hutzpah for this, Connie! I love it every time I think of that moment you had with the Baronissimo!

      All smiles,

  5. I’m smiling thinking about the fun I had with our 3 sweeties at the M&G in CT last June !! And I’m smiling because they are getting known world wide and having a grand time on this fabulous journey their on !! Love them so much xoxo

  6. I’m smiling because thanks to Il Volo and my love for them, I have met many, many new friends worldwide! I’m also smiling because I got to 2 concerts this year, and although my M&G in Philly is a blur, I at least got to see them in person! Just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those boys and everything they stand for!

  7. Glad the boys are home in the sun also, they sure looked COLD up there in th land of freezing. Joanie G

  8. I am smiling because I have watched the Moscow concert playlist over and over and I am so very proud of Piero, Gianluca, and Ignazio. They looked gorgeous in their new tuxedos and their singing was out of this world! I love them sooo much!

  9. I walk. I started a couple of months before concert time. If I had the opportunity to run for Ignazio I wanted to be ready. I was. Didn’t happen though (damn). I now walk 5 miles almost every morning. Here’s the thing…Sometimes, just sometimes, I do not want to walk that last mile or two even though I’ve had the Boys in my ears the whole way, BUT… before turning around I think about a couple of you who had a “not so good” winter and spring. You know who you are. I think that if the Boys can help you through what you had to go through then They can certainly help this healthy body through one more mile and They (you) do! You all motivate and inspire me in so many ways. I love this community called Flight Crew. I hope it lasts forever. You all make me smile…everyday!

  10. It is October which I love. I am trying to be positive and look at each passing day as a day closer to our guys return to the USA for a concert tour and new CD. I got to see them twice in June which is plenty to smile about. (Newark and Philly) The new photo’s have been fabulous and the old ones as well. Marie, I hope you and I are not at the same concert when running for Ignazio comes into play. I will give you a run for your money for sure.

  11. as your doctor I must prescribe that you take an Il Volo concert once every night before bed. Frankly, it sounds pretty serious. You may need two ! !

  12. Marie—- Big, BIG smile for me because you’re back, and what a joy it is to see your great post! I had begun to think that you had dropped off the face of the earth! So glad you’re okay and doing all that walking. Bet you’re getting in shape for the next Il Volo U.S. Tour! Iggy had better watch out—You’ll be able to grab him before he knows it!!!
    Love you,
    Helen

  13. I’m smiling because IL VOLO uplifts my heart and reminds me each day: We Are Love!

Marie, I LOVE your sharing about 5 miles. I believe you may be a titch older than me, but you’re also miles ahead of me!

I only walk-dance maybe a couple three miles, but then, with all that twirling, maybe I’m covering four miles…. Reachin’ for straws here, Marie! 😉
    (And welcome home!!)

In truth, it’s also been a real hard time, as a young person in our Quaker Meeting passed away recently. Yesterday I went to open one of my favorite books, and there was that photo I had printed of Ignazio hugging a fan with so much peace and love on his face. I had shared it when my friend Lisa was crossing over, and here it re-visited me just when I needed it again.

    Smiling between tears,
Love and gratitude for Ignazio, Piero, Gianluca, and all of you!

    1. Jeanine, So sorry for your loss of your young friend. As for that photo, well, we both believe there are no coincidences! That photo was meant to be found and be of comfort again. There is simply no denying the fact that IL VOLO is out of this world amazing in many little and BIG ways

      1. Totally agreed and grateful, Connie!

Hey, and that photo of Piero makes me (and you!) smile!
Lots of beautiful IL VOLO smiles of late!

Oh, and I just learned how to make home made chocolate with all kinds of super foods in it.
        My first was raspberry-goji berry-coconut-pecan.
        My second was fig-mulberry-vanilla-pecan.
Definitely making me smile! … Would love to share some with Our Guys and our Flight Crew friends at an IL VOLO convention some day! I’ll have to use 100% Italian base chocolate for that occasion! 😉

        Love and gratitude,
