Perhaps you’ve already seen this message EDGAR CORTAZAR wrote MAS QUE AMOR.

These gestures make us realize how big they are, our kids, in this case Gianluca.

This has since posted Cortazar while in L.A.:

“I want to share with you that today I was speechless when one of the trio members with whom I shared so many recordings and experiences, since they were children, he found time to make me an unexpected phone call and invite me to one of the most important concerts of their careers, telling me that – thanks to songs in Spanish and English that I recorded for them – over seven years and more than 9 discs along with other composers – have achieved international success and today are presented alongside Placido Domingo at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Thanks Gian! Your humility is noteworthy! Thanks Il Volo!

It was a great honor to be part of your musical history with Mark Portmann.”

    1. Thank you, Daniela for this info. At my first Concert at the Gibson 8/28/13, Edgar Cortiazar & his sweet Family sat in front of us! My Grandaughter was so happy that his little boy sat in front of & did not obstruct my view of the Boys!!! She talked to him & told him it was my 85th Birthday! He signed my Il Volo booklet wishing me a Happy Birthday! He gave us his Email address & was chatty & so pleasant! Told us he & Mark Portman composed We Are Love!!! I told him I never dreamed I would meet the composer of this beautiful song!!! He said the Boys were great to work with. Always prepared, always on time, & a lot of fun. I sent him an Email Christmas greeting that year! I have heard rumors that Edgar was writing a new song for the Boys!!! That would be wonderful!!! The first Concert was such a fantastic night for me!!! I told Ignazio at the M&G we were celebrating my 85th BD & they immediately sang Happy Birthday to me! That was my first connection with the Court Jester & it has grown into instant recognition & they all call me Nonna. Of course the tattoo made me memorable also!!! I love them!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

        I understand that Edgar Cortazar is a wonderful person, how lucky you got to know him.
        Was the same Cortazar to publish that he was writing a new song for IL VOLO.
        Mas Que Amor is a beautiful song, we hope that the new it is equally

    2. Marie, you know that when I read certain gestures of our boys, my heart fills with pride.
      Edgar Cortazar to publish those beautiful words, it means that it was definitely impressed by the gesture that perhaps in the star is not so natural.

      2. Rose Marie this photo which sent Daniela is probably from the time competition TI LASCIO UNA CANSONE 2009 (vinner Gianluca) – or in the coming months after the competition.I have too similar images and videos from that time more.

      1. I agree with you Marie. I think that they all matured into amazing young men…not just handsome but also very respectful and just good, down to earth young men. They are all men that their parents have slot to be proud of.

      However, Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca are very rare pearls.

      1. Thanks Jill and Daniela! Nice that you noticed I was missing. Now that all of our wonderful volunteers are doing such a great job, I have been abe to back away a little. However, I can’t stay away from you all too long. I must eventually reappear to wallow in the glory of what you are all saying about our precious pearls…Gianluca, Piero and that other guy.
