And so here we are, 2021 has begun, with all our hopes and all our intentions. Above all health, because if there is not that, nothing can be !!

I want to wish you the strength to think that things can improve,
positively exploit the time that passes,
feel alive which is different from being alive,
especially when you have no reason to continue.
I wish you strong shoulders,
outstretched hands to help you up when you are on the ground,
smiles born out of nowhere, warm hugs,
dates to remember, exciting departures, changes,
to shorten the distance with the people you love,
a pair of serene eyes . . . and everything you deserve.
. . . and I add, many, but many concerts of Il Volo!! ❤

When I read or see Gianluca, Piero, Ignazio a smile automatically happens because they make me happy. I wish for world wide peace in 2021 and we all learn to understand peace is better than anger and war. Happy New Year 2021 to all IL Volo fans, and I am their fan for life. They sing so well solo or together. They are kind, humble, and funny. I dearly love them as grandsons as I’m a great grandma 8 times. ❤️

Me too, Daniela!! Plus I have a new obsession–it’s the video of Il Volo and Gigi D’Alessio singing Tu Si ‘Na Cosi Grande Per Me about a year ago. I never knew that song–now I can’t get it out of my head. And the guys sound wonderful, plus I really like Gigi’s voice as well, and they blend perfectly. Help!

Judi, “Tu si na cosa grande” is a beautiful song and our guys with Gigi d’Alessio sing it beautifully. There is great friendship and respect between Il Volo and Gigi. You know that this song is by Modugno (author of Volare). I propose it to you sung by himself.
More thanks Daniela and to all who make these messages possible. They brighten our days when our lights have been dimmed by world events. Daniela, thank you so much for posting the Modugno video for me. I enjoyed watching it, but of course prefer the Il Volo one. Gianluca’s voice was so rich and deep, Piero good as always, but Ignazio’s solo part took my breath away. It really is a lovely song, and all the guys show so much passion performing it.
And my belated thanks for the beautiful poem you sent us.
Longing for the day when we all have received the vaccine and are free again.
Judy, I’m glad you enjoyed it and I naturally prefer the boys version too, I always thought Modugno was a little too theatrical in his songs, but they are undoubtedly beautiful songs!

We are happy to have been of assistance. It is a terrible time, but united we are confident that we will overcome all of this.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my Il Volo friends! and…Happy New Year’s to our beloved Il Volo guys! (I do hope they follow what we, the fans are thinking and doing). This year has been a serious retreat from normality, but…we have emerged into a new and far better year. And, I hope you, like me, have learned a lot from 2020. It is Easter time that I look forward to, even if I have to put the grill in the middle of my driveway and have all my family and neighbors sit at a safe distances spread out on all our lawns. We are going to celebrate being together and the start of a dawning of normal living!
Listening to our beloved guys has made these many past gray days much more tolerable and uplifting. Their Christmas card from St. Peter’s Square was a true jeweled gift. As always, their beautiful voices were stunning (and so were they)! Best wishes to all, Sandi
