And now, the time has come for the final concert, “UNO PER TUTTI” (“One for All”), held in Mantua and recorded by Canale 5.
My thanks go to this channel and to Mediaset for making it possible, once again this year, to enjoy three magnificent evenings of beautiful music, excellent vocals, and all the fantastic elements that helped make these concerts truly memorable.
This is the concert I attended myself; it was wonderful to relive those moments, and I even spotted myself in the audience several times, though usually from behind, as I was focused on the songs and taking a few photos.
Here is the video of the evening, complete with subtitles. Afterward, I’ll walk you through each song and share a few details that were left out during the Canale 5 editing process.
For those who cannot watch it, here is the link from Mediaset.

It all begins, as always, backstage, where Piero, Ignazio, and Gianluca try to recall the many guests appearing that evening.
Soon, they head out onto the stage, greeting the audience in the venue, the viewers watching on Canale 5, and the entire orchestra.
The concert kicks off immediately with a beautiful song: “IO CHE NON VIVO (SENZA TE)” by Pino Donaggio, it’s impossible not to sing along with them!
Next, they introduce the first guest of the evening, the gifted singer-songwriter Luca Carboni, who has recently faced some serious health issues.
Together, they perform a wonderful medley of his songs:
“SILVIA LO SAI” (1987), performed with Gianluca;
“FARFALLINA” (1987), performed with Piero;
“CI VUOLE UN FISICO BESTIALE “ (2013), performed with Ignazio;
and “MARE MARE” (1991), performed by all of them together.
Now our guys are ready to introduce the evening’s co-host, the talented comedic actress Katia Follesa. She’ll bring plenty of fun to the night, showing a playful interest in Gianluca’s affections, leading to a number of amusing gags.
A lovely Italian song written by Mino Reitano and sung as a duet by Piero and Ignazio: AVEVO UN CUORE CHE MI AMAVA TANTO
Now it’s time for a solo by Gianluca with the musical accompaniment of Nello Salza, together delivers a splendid rendition of Tenco’s beautiful song: MI SONO INNAMORATO DI TE
Once again accompanied by Nello Salza, Il Volo performs the beautiful SE by Morricone, from the film *Nuovo Cinema Paradiso*.
It’s time for a very young guest: 20-year-old Sarah Toscano, winner of the 2004 season of the show *Amici di Maria De Filippi*. In a duet with Piero, she performs the lovely song RIDERÀ, originally by Little Tony,dating back to 1995.
Immediately afterwards, Sarah Toscano, again, performs a duet with Ignazio, singing the current track DIE ON THIS HILL.
Another solo by Gianluca, what can I say? He performs this beautiful song by Paolo Conte with truly great mastery: VIENI VIA CON ME del 1981.
Next up is a delightful little skit featuring our guys and Katia Follesa, who wants to show off her singing with ability the song DONNE, but all she can manage to say is “du du du”!! 😁
It’s time for an opera piece; Il Volo is singing: LA DONNA È MOBILE from Rigoletto.
The beautiful SE TELEFONANDO continues. What a wonderful song by Maurizio Costanzo, it’s impossible not to sing along with Il Volo.
Another guest, Camilla Ardenzi, enters; while not a household name, she is the granddaughter of the renowned Italian singer Ornella Vanoni, who passed away this year, and this segment is dedicated to her, featuring a song she co-wrote with Gino Paoli: TI LASCIO UNA CANZONE, Camilla and Gianluca perform a delicate duet.
And now, there’s a solo by Ignazio; his voice and his interpretation truly shine in this beautiful song by Amy Winehouse, who left us far too soon: BACK TO BLACK
But let’s go back for a moment to classical singing and there is a beautiful duet between Piero and the beautiful and talented Italian soprano Mariam Battistelli, together they perform TU CHE M’HAI PRESO IL CUOR
Next up is a great solo by Gianluca, who sings a fine Elvis song the way only he knows how: BURNING LOVE
Ignazio speaks about the power of music, no one should ever feel alone—and this is what Il Volo aims to affirm with this beautiful song: YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE, gives me chills.
There is always room to listen to this beautiful song, Il Volo with GRANDE AMORE
The next guest is the Italian singer-songwriter Francesco Gabbani, in duet with Piero they perform VIVA LA VITA.
It’s a special moment: the international band BLUE is there, and together they perform the beautiful and incredibly famous song A CHI MI DICE
What a thrill to see them all together, and what talent!
Afterward, Blue also sing a song by Elton John, which they feature in their tour: SORRY SEEMS TO BE THE HARDEST WORD.
In a lighthearted moment, the members of Blue take part in a gag by eating a “pumpkin tortello” brought by Katia.
It’s time for a long duet with Fabio Concato, poet and singer-songwriter of music, together with Gianluca they perform BUONANOTTE AMORE del 2017.
Next comes the beautiful M’INNAMORO DAVVERO del 1999.
There’s a fun bit with Katia, followed by a solo from Ignazio, who tries his hand at a lovely song in French: VOILÀ.
After this lovely French song, there is a Neapolitan song, ERA DE MAGGIO, performed by Gianluca and Piero.
And now Il Volo, reunited for the beautiful L’IMMENSITÀ. This song was singing in Sanremo Festival in 1967.
Another solo, this time, Ignazio amazes us with his rendition of a song by Andrew Lloyd Webber, from the film/musical “JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR”, the beautiful HEAVEN ON THEIR MINDS.
These songs are absolutely tailor-made for our Ignazio!
And now it’s Piero’s beautiful voice that as always amazes us in NO PUEDE SER.
Immediately after Piero, it is Gianluca who amazes us with his splendid voice; accompanied by the highly talented Alessandro Quarta, he performs a song by Battiato from 1979 L’ERA DEL CINGHIALE BIANCO.
A beautiful song made a hit by Fausto Leali in 1988, performed here as a duet by Ignazio and Gianluca, who deliver a splendid rendition MI MANCHI.
The show is coming to an end; our guys call the delightful Katia over for the final goodbyes and announce the next song FRAMMENTI DI UNIVERSO.
Once again, a great concert, everything was well-executed, and the production by Mediaset was excellent.
I think people have high expectations for Il Volo, and our guys never disappoint; they are talented, charming, handsome, elegant, and well-mannered, in short, a delight for both the ears and the eyes. Unforgettable songs, wonderful performances, and vocals that are always top-notch. The Il Volo formula works perfectly!! 👏👏👏

What our guys had to say at the end of the video:
G= We’ve done it again this year!
I= We’ve done it again this year!
P= Awesome!
G= Never change a winning team.
P= It’s been a marathon.
I= Those were two tough weeks.
P= Two weeks? We’ve been working on this for a whole year!
I= True, but those two weeks were definitely tough, though, in the end, our audience always gives us such incredible rewards; we have to say that. We’re so happy, grazie mille all so much!

Many posts about the show have appeared online, accompanied by countless positive comments. Naturally, there have also been some less-than-complimentary reviews, though even these could not help but acknowledge the talent of our guys.
From among them, I have chosen to translate this commentary published by *Libero Magazine*:
“Following the final episode of *Il Volo – Uno per tutti*, it is time to take stock of the Canale 5 event—a program dedicated to the *Il Volo and Friends* concert in Mantua. The assessment of the three tenors and the show they delivered can only be positive. Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto, and Gianluca Ginoble have long since evolved beyond being merely three magnificent voices; they are now true entertainers who know how to command the stage and engage an audience—not just through their music, but through everything surrounding it, including the playful banter they share with one another and their guests. Their comfort with the entire mechanics of a television production was further evidenced by their role as co-hosts, a task they handled exceptionally well. In short, the final verdict on these three evenings is that they culminate in yet another triumph.”
And so, the three televised concerts filmed at Palazzo Te in Mantua have come to an end for this year. I hope you enjoyed listening to these beautiful songs.
Do let me know your thoughts.
See you soon: Daniela 🤗
