Our anniversary month is drawing to a close. It’s been so great reading everyone’s memories and comments. We’ve loved reading about the convention in Minnesota, reviewing our last year and dusting off our original background. I know my board sisters and I enjoyed reliving how we got the blog started and how much our lives have changed since then. We hope you have too.
Before we end the chapter on our first year, we have one more activity we hope you’ll like:
ASK YOUR BOARD!!!
For the next three days, we invite you to send us a question you would like to ask about us. It can be a question for the board as a whole, directed toward one member specifically or about some aspect of the website/featured piece/etc. At the end of the three days, we will go through them, pick a few, and then we will post them with the answers later this month.

Marie, I refuse to believe that a person such as yourself lived a sad morose life devoid of any interesting interests that grabbed your attention. Of course I am sure this passion/interest was not nearly to the heights of your passion for IL VOLO ( and a certain Mr.Dimples) but all the same there had to be some, for crying out loud in your grog! I’m sure the same can be applied to all of your Board Sistahs.
Marie, I would have said my pre-Il Volo passion was Elvis. But even he did not evoke the feelings that I have for our guys. A passion-less life? Hardly. But no comparison to a life filled with Il Volo!
Why thank you for the birthday wishes. Happy Birthday to the rest of my August companions. Leave it to you to think about my parents Thanksgiving celebration. After all these years, I never even thought about it. LOL
Oh, and Marie, you may live too far right and I can’t hurt you now, but soon…

While I am here , I’ll ask another question of the Board: Which IL VOLO ONE of all their songs is the one song you go to to banish your blues, energize and get you going ?
I also would like to take this opportunity to wish Happy Birthday to all of the August Flight Crew members. I have a few questions: How do I upload a video I created from my pictures I took with my camera at the Taormina concert. It’s not the best video, but I would love to share it with all of the Flight Crew family. My next question is what is the email address for the Flight Crew?

I have another question: Besides all things IL Volo, what else do you like to do with your time?
I myself have been taking care of my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter for about 8 yrs and have raised my grandson (now 18). I recently retired at a young enough age to enjoy life, took my grandson to Italy in July and I will be moving to Phoenix in about a month. It’s time for me to live life to the fullest and if that means going to lots of IL VOLO concerts next year so be it.

I was more of a Rock & Roll girl. We all may have come from different music genres, but look what we found! No comparison!
