  1. Thanks for the update. I have been worried since I saw IVMO post this morning. Thanks again.

  2. I just saw a post that Ignazio said that he is well and is already making funny jokes. No doubt that this boy is a trooper. It’s good to be young and be able to spring back the next day (though I’m sure he has to still be a little sore). 🙂

  3. I was there last night & saw it happen. He was with a little boy from the audience and tripped on wires on the stage. He rolled over so he wouldn’t fall on the child. We did “Meet & Greet” afterwards but he didn’t attend. Glad to hear he is fine.
    PS: The concert was fabulous as usual. They are fantastic!!!!!

  4. It is amazing to me that Ignazio doesn’t hurt himself more often! I was at a concert where he slid across the stage on his knee–he must has gotten one of those skin burns or at least a bruise because he slid hard enough to tear a hole in his pants!
    Just the thought makes my poor old knees ache in sympathy!
    But he is young and resilient and most of all, a real trooper.

  5. I was in the second row. Ignazio fell right in front of me. He was trying to go from the side to the main stage by jumping over while holding a young boy. It looked as though he tripped over some cables or his own feet. It happened so fast! He had a smile on his face as he was getting up. I think he was embarrassed. His concern for the boy was immediate. They both seemed ok, Ignazio took the boy over to his parents then went backstage for a moment, came back out and finished the show. He stayed to pose for pictures and shake hands, mine included. What a trouper he is. Bless him. Unfortunately he was not able to attend the M/G because he was on his way to the ER. At least we were told he was going. I spoke to Gaetano at the M/G and then at the bus. What a nice man Piero’s dad is. He said Ignazio was OK. They were leaving for Fort Myers right after the show. And what a show it was, hearing them live for the first time was just amazing. My daughter-in-law Theresa was completely enthralled as I was. See you in Las Vegas.

  6. Thank you so much for the update! I was Sooo worried about Ignazio!
    I know a lot of fans were disappointed that he couldn’t attend the M& G, but I know they’re relieved he’s ok!

  7. Thanks everyone for the update!! That kid!! I feel as though one of my grandsons was hurt!! So glad he’s ok! Love these guys! 10 MORE DAYS!♡♡♡

  8. From Wendy Viale:
    My daughter (Gaetana in the yellow dress and red shoes–Tampa March 6, 2016–onstage with Gianluca & Piero (super protector Ignazio was joining them on stage with a little boy, but tragically tripped over the speaker with the boy and really twisted his body as he fell with boy so that the boy was safely cushioned by his body as they flew and slammed to the floor. BRAVO to him. (Ignazio hurt his shoulder)–as I call Il Volo–the beautiful gifts to the world) had an unbelievable experience with them on stage in Tampa tonight–as did I screaming in my seat! They even let us see them (only Gianluca & Piero since Ignazio has to be attended to for his shoulder–i pray he is well ) at the Meet & Greet after the show. They are all perfect human beings…fantastic role models for children–for all really! They lift you up, make you laugh, and are tender and caring. Really beautiful–inside & out. And as we all know, they are extremely talented and gifted. Gaetana absolutely loves them and loves singing opera (although i can’t find an opera teacher who will take her at the age of eight).
    I want to say Grazie to them for treating Gaetana and I so wonderfully!
    One day she wants to perform with them.
    Tonight was a dream for her–she told me that tonight’s experience was better than Christmas morning!! I told you earlier–Piero, Gianluca, and Ignazio are gifts to all of us, at any age! Grazie ragazzi!!

  9. We all love the boys and everything that happens to them feels like a personal hurt. I am also very selfish and rushed to the calendar. 13 more days till Dallas and I do want to stand next to and hug Ignazio.
    Magic Wand

    I wish I had a magic wand
    To make it go away;
    I’d wave my scepter over you
    Until you were okay.

    I’d think good thoughts; I’d send you love;
    I’d transmit healing vibes;
    My wand and I would surely beat
    Whatever the doc prescribes.

    But there is no magic scepter, so
    I cannot cast a spell;
    Just know you’re often in my thoughts,
    And I hope you’ll soon be well!

  10. Happy that Ignazio is okay. I’m sure he will be very sore since it looked like he fell really hard and just as one would expect, he kept the little boy from getting hurt. I was always worried when he was jumping off the pianos and there were times in the beginning of Surrender when he spun around as he went down steps. Even now when the three are jumping at the end of the concerts, it sometimes looks like they are very close together and their feet or legs could get entangled. We can’t help but worry but glad it wasn’t worse.

  11. I am glad to hear that Ignazio is ok. He is very talented and have such a beautiful voice that can be strong and sweet at the same time. He is also very good looking so he doesn’t have to do anything to get attention. Just be himself. Lots of luck to Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca.
