Il Volo Off Stage: Fun in the Sun and Cars

Summertime is my spirit season, and the guys of Il Volo seem to love it too.  With scenery like this, who could blame them?

LA SCALA DEI TURCHI

The Scala dei Turchi is a rocky wall (cliff) rising over the sea along the coast between Realmonte and Porto Empedocle in the province of Agrigento.
The Scala dei Turchi has a wavy and irregular shape, with sweet and rounded lines.
The name comes from the past raids of Turkish pirates, who were sheltered in this area less than the winds and representing a safer landing.
The beach is famous for the candida and dazzling color of its rocks; is a protected area but in the past it has been threatened several times by tourism …

Piero: “Guys, Good morning to everyone, from La Scala dei Turchi”

And one of his friends says:

“Look what spectacle we have here in Sicily guys”

~~ Thanks, Daniela

  1. Beautiful scenery lol. It sounds as if Ignazio has recorded something for himself. I don’t know if it is an existing song or one of his own. Wish we could hear more, sounds lovely sung by him.

    1. That song is called ESTATE and was sung by Bruno Martino.
Seeming that Ignatius has played this song.

      1. RoseMarie, I think so, he sings, he will have recorded it for himself.

      2. I think that was the radio that Ignazio was listening to. Not him singing. It did not sound like him to me.

  2. I agree; it does sound like Ignazio. Thought that maybe he was listening to some personal self-recordings and that maybe he also wrote it. In any case, I think It’s beautiful, too…as are he and his pets. Thank you very much for these summertime photos, videos and articles about Il Volo. They sure seem to know how to live life wisely since they were very young. At least to me, they’ve always seemed to be three ‘enlightened’ individuals; exceptionally talented young people with the qualities of ‘old souls’ : Consistently nice. Kind, generous, compassionate hearts. Positive energies. Beautiful singing and music. No wonder they’re well-liked and loved by so many. Sure hope that they will continue to be appreciated and supported for the lifetime of their careers and beyond it.

    1. Did a search and really think that’s Ignazio singing the song, “Estate” in the video posted here. (Originally recorded by Bruno Martino years ago). Bruno sounds nothing like Ignazio; ditto the many other singers I listened to who recorded it; ditto the musical arrangement, as well. Wish the video posted here could have been the full recording. 😢 (Thanks for the song info., Danielle).
