Thank you Daniela. It’s so nice to see the huge crowds filling the arenas. It’s amazing how they can do all these concerts and always give the fans such wonderful shows. They never disappoint. Always doing everything they can to please their fans.

Better late than never. Thank you again so very much Daniela and Pat for keeping us updated on the European Tour. Boy, are they ever having a busy schedule. I have often wondered how they would travel from city to city as they seem to have concerts each second night in general and that at cities often located far from each other or in different countries. So a chartered private jet is, of course, the way they can manage – but I presume that they do likewise have a number of technicians and special musicians along too, and they don’t seem to fit into this little jet… hm. And what about all their luggage with apparently countless of new tux? Well, I guess they have a staff hired to handle the logistics for them so that they can fully concentrate on the performances and preparations for them and not having to worry about transport or whether or not they have a freshly ironed shirt.
PS: Yes, it’s wonderful to see how well they are received everywhere – but I did stumble across a video from Munich the other day and it did actually reveal that the sides of the stadium wasn’t half full… Hopefully that was a loner.

An das “PS”, liebe Kirsten Langner, knüpfe ich gleich an. Im November durfte ich meine ersten beiden Live-Konzerte von Il Volo erleben – eines in Berlin und das andere in Leipzig. Sie wurden von den Fans begeistert aufgenommen – in Leipzig für mein Empfinden noch herzlicher als in Berlin. Aber es gab tatsächlich auch in Berlin und Leipzig noch viele freie Plätze. Ganze Blöcke mit leeren Sitzen wurden mit schwarzen Tüchern abgedeckt, damit es nicht so auffiel. Ich fand es sehr, sehr schade, dass die beiden großen Hallen nicht annähernd ausverkauft waren. Ich fürchte auch, dass Il Volo in der nächsten Zeit nicht wieder in so vielen deutschen Städten auftreten wird wie in diesem Jahr. Auch hätte ich mir im Vorfeld mehr Werbung hier in Deutschland gewünscht. So war es mir Il Volo und der gesamten Crew gegenüber fast peinlich, dass sie auf die freien Plätze schauen mussten. Sehr schade.
Dennoch waren die Konzerte natürlich von hervorragender Qualität. Bin begeistert!
