Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto, and Gianluca Ginoble treated the Apulian audience to an impeccable performance, confirming an artistic maturity that now extends far beyond the captivating phenomenon of their early days.
The natural acoustics of the historic walls, combined with a top-tier sound system, amplified the trio’s vocal power. The setlist skillfully balanced the various musical worlds that define their signature style. The opening number, “Capolavoro,” immediately warmed up the crowd, followed by a journey through great international classics such as “The Sound of Silence” and their triumphant, essential hit, “Grande amore.”
The evening’s true highlight was the interplay between ensemble pieces and solo performances, which showcased the group’s distinct individual qualities: Piero’s powerful operatic tenor voice, Ignazio’s extraordinary pop-soul range, and Gianluca’s warm, magnetic baritone timbre. Moments of deep emotion were reached during the rendition of “Nessun dorma” and the heartfelt tributes to Ennio Morricone with “L’estasi dell’oro” and “Se.”

The trio Il Volo, currently embarking on a world tour that will visit major cities across Europe, the United States, and Latin America through 2027, will headline the closing event of the 27th edition of *pordenonelegge* with the “Concert for Italy.” This event is organized to honor the prestigious visit of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, who is expected in Pordenone on Sunday, September 20 (at 7:00 PM, Teatro Verdi). The announcement was made this morning, Thursday, August 6, by Michelangelo Agrusti, President of the Fondazione Pordenonelegge.it.
