IL VOLO EUROPEAN TOUR: ROMANIA – POLAND – BULGARIA by Daniela

After a few days’ break, the European tour resumes, with the first stop being Romania.

November 23, ORADEA

The concert was held in the Oradea Arena.
I found this video that shows the entire concert, there are also some funny moments and a very sweet moment with Luca, a child in the audience, who sings a short piece of Capolavoro with them!

💫 The Il Volo concert in Bulgaria will be filmed as a festive Christmas show and broadcast on the Italian national television channel Canale 5 on December 24, 2025, transforming the Bulgarian scene into one of the most anticipated musical events of the year.
🎄This will also be a special holiday event for Bulgarian audiences, who will attend the concert on November 28 in the Arena 8888 Sofia Hall – transformed with magnificent Christmas decorations and a special shorthand design, which will highlight the festive atmosphere of a unique musical experience.
✨In addition to their traditional repertoire of iconic opera classics, timeless Italian hits, their fifteen-year career repertoire, their latest album, Ad Astra, and solo performances from the global musical treasure, the three Italians will also perform their favorite Christmas songs.

Il Volo leaves Poland, next stop Bulgaria.

November 28  SOFIA

The concert was at Arena 8888.
As I’ve already explained, the concert will be recorded and broadcast on Canale 5 on Christmas Day, so in addition to the scheduled songs, Christmas carols will also be performed, and the arena will be decorated for the holidays.
I don’t want to spoil the Christmas surprise too much, especially since I’ll be showing you the entire Christmas concert later, so I’ll just show you the beginning. 😉

INCANTO DI NATALE!! 

GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO

How wonderful, what a wonderful Christmas atmosphere with the stained-glass windows illuminating a heavy snowfall, and what a wonderful opening song, superbly performed by our treasures, showing off their beautiful voices.
I won’t suggest anything else related to Christmas, even though I’m eager to see more videos. But be patient, Christmas is just around the corner!
How lucky the Bulgarian audience was to have witnessed this magnificent concert! I’m truly happy for them.
But there’s some news.
Il Volo announces that they’ll be back in Mantua in September for three evenings of TUTTI PER UNO, which will be broadcast on Canale 5.
Ticket advance sales are already open.
First of all, I want to apologize for the delay in updating you.
My daughter is moving, and I’m busy helping her, and Il Volo has concerts so hectic it’s hard to keep up with them.
Lots of great news and so many successes. I think Il Volo is doing a truly fantastic European tour, and the love they’re receiving everywhere is priceless.
And what can I say about Incanto di Natale, a concert that looks fantastic and that we’ll be savoring in its entirety during these holidays?
I have another piece of good news (especially for me): the Brescia newspaper has published the names of the singers performing in Brescia, my hometown….and Il Volo is among them!!!! I’m so happy about this, but for now, it’s news that needs to be confirmed by Il Volo.

POLAND, MUSICA TOUR 21, REVIEW BY ALICJA

And it was also the turn of the beautiful Poland.

The boys were greeted with so much love, the Polish public was very warm, and our guys gave them, the maximum, as always.

But here is a nice video made by Prestige, which proposes some beautiful moments of the concert.

Alicja, was present at the concert.

She sent me her review and some beautiful photos and videos that I will now publish so that everyone can enjoy them.

I’m still trilling after the Saturday concert, so please excuse my very emotional words. The concert was fantastic, magical, pure passion with much laud and enthusiasm from the audience. Our boys started from a beautiful classic aria, “NESSUN DORMA” from Turandot, which was very warm welcomed by all of us. Of “IL MONDO” – pure magic, of course Ignazio was showing off with his high notes and Piero encouraged him to sing even higher.

The Polish fan club prepared shiny sticks to all the fans, we turned them on when “Il Mondo” was performed – the whole audience was a lightning bolt with the colors white, red and green – flags of Italy (red, white, green) and Poland (white and red). Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca were very surprised and happy I think. I was in the front row and I saw their faces very well. Yes, they were happy. 🤗❤️

I’m sorry I don’t remember the whole set list, I felt like in heaven and still can’t really make up my mind. I remember their funny introduction, with little evidence of Polish, but also Ignazio remembered only “Dobry wieczór” (Good Evening) – we teach it during sound check and “Dziekuje” (Thanks) Gian asked how to say good morning in Polish – we said “Dzien dobry” and it really sounds like Ginoble a little. He started as a joke that his surname means good morning in Polish and Ignazio Boschetto invented which means good night 😁 (obviously not)

Our boys were in fantastic shape, they sang like angels, for me they sounded better than on CD. First solo was Ignazio’s “MEMORY”, then “BRIDGE OVER TROUBLE WATER”, performed by Gianluca and “NO PUEDE SER” by Piero. Then again trio and duets “MARIA”, “TORNA A SURRIENTO” (in Italian Version + English) “MY WAY”, “O PAESE D’O SOLE”. 

Gian and Piero had the second and third solos “MI MANCHERAI” and “LOVE STORY”.

From the new album they performed “ARRIVEDERCI ROMA”, “A CHI MI DICE” and “MUSICA CHE RESTA”. From old albums they sang and “UN AMORE COSÌ GRANDE”, “SMILE”, “O SOLE MIO”, “VOLARE” – everyone started dancing, singing and approached the scene. 

Girls screaming, ok … not just girls … women a little older too and no one sat anymore. 

Very long version of the “GRANDE AMORE” for farewell and our beloved Il Volo took off for the next concert in Bulgaria. Of course they said how much love Poland and Polish fans, he promised to come back next year. ❤️❤️❤️

We had short M & G meeting because the boys had very early flight the next day, but together with hugs, kisses and chats during the sound check it was really beautiful experience to be so close to my stars. I made funny caricatures of Il Volo guys and asked them (during the sound check we have only a little more time than M & G) to sign each image. I have signatures, bigger “Thanks” from Gian – he liked his caricature more. Piero wondered “Why am I naked ???” and Igna smiled beautifully and said “Good job” I must admit that I am totally in love and together with my friend we acted like crazy 15 year-olds ….

I can only say that it was the best concert ever. Better than Matera and much better than last year in Poland. Standing ovation almost after each song and faces of Piero, Ignazio and Gian when we shout “BRAVI”, “We love you.”, etc … is priceless.

Alicja, I have no words, you did a wonderful review, and what beautiful videos and photos, certainly you were also in a nice place, front row!

And what about your caricatures that you made the boys sign, beautiful, congratulations!

You told me that you also met Jolanta, how wonderful, how many beautiful friendships, thanks to IL VOLO.
