Hi everyone!
I reached out to a few people for help with the blog. I think everyone was very willing to help in any way they could, and I so appreciate that. This is our home, and I don’t think I should be the only one in charge. I spoke with a few people who happened to offer first, and that was all the thinking that really went into it. I hope no one is hurt by that.
Anyway, one of the people I reached out to is Linda S. She is going to be a contributor for us, collecting news bits from the web and bringing them back here. So, without further adieu, her first “In Case You Missed It” piece!
In Case You Missed It
1.) Detroit PBS is airing Il Volo “Buon Natale” on 8/14, a one time preview. The special will not air in the rest of the country until December. They are giving the opportunity to the Il Volo concert goers @ the Fox Theatre on 9/5. $125 
donation for 1 ticket and $250 for a pair.
2.) As we still don’t know for sure when “The Guys” are returning here, we cannot be sure if their appearance on “The Talk” will be live or on tape. Marie Osmond is a guest co-host and Selena Gomez is also appearing.
(Edit: We have since learned that this appearance has been cancelled. )
3.) “The Guys” are enjoying the last days of their vacations:
Piero spent the day with his friends and driving cars with his uncle.
Gianluca is spending time with his brother watching soccer and movies.
Ignazio has not been heard from as much, but seems to be having a good time with his friends.

This is a good idea! Now we won’t have to go from site to site looking for news of our beloved Il Volo. I have a question, Kelly and/or Linda: will the main page have pictures of our Guys on it? any body coming here for the 1st time, maybe just out of curiouisity, may not know who we are all raving about.
Lynn, Elizabeth is working on some themes that we can use on the background and header so it will be obvious who we’re talking about. 🙂
Michele if your on this page look on page 3 where the boys picture is I left a comments about your camera there.
This is great – I like having the comments “sorted” by subject. It makes it easier for all of us. Did anyone see a reason why The Talk was cancelled? I guess the boys will be able to stay home a bit longer.

Linda S. is following the news since she has always followed all of the more popular outlets. Of course, if anyone sees something of interest out there, please let us know. Sometimes the best way to get news is word of mouth.
Kelquishe – Happy to find this site. I am sorry it took so long for me to find it. I have now sent it out to my “gaggle” of emailers (about 62 of them) and they can follow here as well.
I want to thank Michele Torpetine for his reply to our email today. I hope we can keep that connection active.
Sorry to hear about the “Talk” since that was their first American national TV show ever. I hope they can reschedule.
Kelly or Linda – this seems to be on the path to that elusive “authorized” international Fan Club site that we talked with Barbara Vitali about. Is that what you guys are thinking in long term ?
