In Case You Missed It……

Hi Everyone,

Chicagoland are you ready?? Il Volo is in town and they’re ready to go tomorrow night at the historic Chicago Theatre!!
The Chicago Theatre was the first lavish movie palace in America. It was the prototype for all others. When it opened on October 26, 1921, it was called “The Wonder Theatre of the World”.
Tomorrow night, September 4th, this beautiful theatre will hear the glorious voices of Il Volo in concert!! Elizabeth and Kelly from our Board will be there and they can hardly wait!

1) Twitter, Tweets and Keeks:
Piero tweets “Hello #Chicago” He also tweeted a picture of his hotel room! Very nice!!
Gianluca tweets, last night, “just landed in Chicago, super tired”
Ignazio sent a picture of himself via Brabble, wearing a protein shake mustache, very funny, Ignazio!

2)Check out Mundial Facebook for some excellent pictures of “The Boys” Some good videos too.

3) We hope they’re getting some down time along with checking out the theatre and rehearsing. They really need some voice rest and fun for a few days.

Thursday, the concert will be at “The Fox Theatre” in Detroit.
This is the big one for Marie, Loretta and Mary. I don’t know about you, but I can hardly wait to hear all the great stories. You know there will be some funny moments!

Check out our “Resource” page for links to Il Volo.
Check out Marie’s “Stat” page, we’re growing by leaps and bounds!

Have fun everyone, have a good Il Volo Day!!

Linda

  1. Nice one, Linda.  History was cool.  I like the way you’re pointing at the picture!

Did you ever think 6 months ago that you would be writing the words, “twitter, tweets, and keeks”?  I can’t even say it!

  2. Thanks for the info on my beautiful Chicago Theatre. I have been going there since I was 10 years old and have seen many, many stars through the years. Love it so much. Our Boys seem to like it too. Beautiful but not too large. Can hardly wait.
