  1. Happy Birthday Marie! Why were you emailing so early? You should have lounged around longer! Hope you had an awesome day! Many, many more!

  2. Happy birthday,Marie. Celebrate by watching that handsome trio of Italian singers. What’s their name?

  3. Happy Birthday Marie! Thanks for all your hard work on the website / blog and for keeping us so well informed!

  4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS. CRIDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn’t know that today was you birthday!!!!!!! I hope you had an awesome day! You’re 22 now, right? Say, I know about this guy, he’s around your age, handsome, single. Have you ever met an Ignazio Boschetto by any chance? Because I think you two would get along REALLY well, if you know what I mean! 😉

  5. And I’ll repeat all of the above – Happy Birthday and Thank You for all you do! Where would we be without you?

  6. Happy Birthday Marie! I know by this time it is already the 2nd, but I’ll still call it the 1st! I’m sure Ignazio would have giving you as many kisses as how yong you are now, if he were here, and you would have returned each one too! Hope your year is filled with IlVolo Happiness!

  7. Avast and Yo Ho! Happiest of Birthdays to you dear Marie! You don’t look a year older at all. Must be because you met up with your Italian paramour, Mr.Dimples!

  8. Oh, Marie! You snuck in a birthday, and now you’re probably sound asleep dreaming of your Italian paramour, collecting and returning your 22 kisses! (Isabel, Carli, and Pirate, you’re awesome!)

The best I have to offer is my favorite birthday singers:
Knowing they’ll brighten up any and every day!

Love and appreciation for your delightful, sweet, spicy, funny, clever, precious self!

      1. Glad you liked AND had a lovely birthday, Marie.
How could you not?! (Love our guys singing to you, that is!)

BTW, that’s a great way to introduce folks to IL VOLO. Just send them this sweet birthday song with your loving wishes! 😉

Enjoy your week …or month! of celebrating,
        ~ Jeanine

  9. I had a great day!! I have the most wonderful family in the world, all of you and The Boys singing Happy Birthday! It doesn’t get better!

    Thank you all so much!!

    1. Happy Belated Birthday !! I wish I could have wrapped up Il Volo in a nice big package and sent them to your house. They would make an il volovely accessory to your home and would be fun to open. Love ya lots !!

    2. Hi Marie,
I also didn’t know it was your birthday. The post arrived here in the evening – so here I am, after the fact! I hope your day was wonderful! We all appreciate your efforts and writings. You always manage to put our collective feelings into words.
Thank you so much! And best wishes for many more happy, happy birthdays…

  10. Marie, Are you a year older? Shouldn’t you be going in the other direction? You need to be getting closer to Ignagzio’s age, not farther away. What’s age, anyway. You are charming at any age and perfect for Mr. Dimples.

  11. Marie,
Well, what can I say. Of course, happy birthday. Every time this happens to me I demand a recount because they always goof the numbers and they end up too high. Anyway, great day to you. Your friend, Myron

  12. Marie, belated happy birthday. I wish I could write a poem like you. So, instead of a poem here are 2 quotes that I like. Most like likely you have heard these before.
“Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it don’t matter.”
    – baseball player Satchel Paige
“You can’t help getting older, but you don’t have to get old.”
    – George Burns

May you have many more years to enjoy the music of our favorite guys.

  13. Better late than never, I hope! You rascal, you!!! Didn’t know it was your birthday yesterday. Anyway, all the best wishes to you, Marie. I know you had a fabulous day with family and friends. You already must have guessed how much all of us on this site love and admire you! You keep us happy with your marvelous, witty writings and comments… I know that you have given me so may good chuckles AND belly laughs (and a tear or two, on occasion), and I honestly don’t know how I would survive without this blog, you, and all the fantastic Board of the Flight Crew. I hope that you realize just how much pleasure you give to us all!!! God Bless!!!

  14. Hi Marie,

Just wanted to add my happy birthday wishes to all the rest. Enjoyed meeting you in Elgin, Il. Love your Il Volo tattoo! Ciao Bella. Irene from Pittsburgh

  15. HI MARIE! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! Hope you had a wonderful day! You know what they say, not another day older just another day wiser! After all, look who you picked to love, you know, the one with the dimples, georgous eyes, and million dollar smile! ummmm!
I know this doesn’t apply to you, but just had to past it along. TOO CUTE!

Just a line to say I’m living, that I’m not among the dead,
Though I’m getting more forgetful, and mixed up in my head.
I got used to my arthritis, to my dentures I’m resigned.
I can manage my bifocals, but God, I miss my mind.
Sometimes I can’t remember, when I stand at the foot of the stairs,
if I must go up for something, or have I just come down from there.
And before the fridge, so often, my poor mind is filled with doubt,
have I just put food away, or have I come to take some out.
And there’s times when it’s so dark, with my nightcap on my head,
I don’t know if I’m retiring, or just getting out of bed.
So, if it’s my turn to write you, there’s no need for getting sore,
I may think that I have written, and don’t want to be a bore.
So, remember that I love you, and wish that you were near.
Now it’s getting nearly mail time, so must say goodbye my dear.
Here I stand beside the mailbox, with a face so very red,
instead of mailing you my letter, I have opened it instead!

Okay, I,ve got my hand raised. Anyone else? Be Honest Now!
