  1. Piero, If it wasn’t for your voice and Ignazio and Gianluca we would have nothing to vote for!!! You have given us much joy and the love you have shared with us.
    xxxoooxxxooo

  2. Awww, was that not the sweetest thing to see this morning when you opened the blog, Piero thanking his fans for his awards, when it is truly us that are thanking him (Ignazio & Gianluca) for bringing such love and joy to our world. He is truly one of a kind 🙂

  3. Piero, you are more than welcome! Those awards were given to you because you all deserve the recognition they represent. You have given us so much joy in our lives – it is a great pleasure for us to see you being rewarded – and of course we love you at least as much as you love us! Or more!

  4. I’m just putting this out there for the flight crew family, but has anyone heard from Jeanine (jrd1776). She hasn’t posted since late October. I hope everything is ok.

    1. Hi, Karen and Marie! Thank you so much for the thoughts!

I wrote the book version of a reply to Marie. (Forgive me, Marie.) The reader’s digest version is that I’ve been busy, as Marie said.

Some intensity in life, including health issues which are resolving.

If you feel called to wish me well, the sweetest would be seeing me walk-dancing with vitality and joy to IL VOLO along the river’s edge. And my family being at peace through my parents’ health challenges.

      What an awesome post.
Piero, it is our tremendous joy to rejoice with you in your music and recognition! As a friend says after a delicious dessert, “Tastes like MORE!” 😉

      Love and gratitude,
      Jeanine, Compassion’s Doorway

  5. Piero was Sooooo sweet to post this message!

  8. Thank you piero for the love, these music and the devotion you, Ignacio and Gianluca have shown to us, your loving FANS. We will always be with you no matter where are in the world. Maybe not in person but certainly in spirit. For me, you have helped me out of a dark time in my life after the death of my husband of 46 years. Your voices and music were a GOD send to me to see life again through a happier prospected. Thank you my dears. We love you.

  9. Just another reason to love Our Guys…they always remember to thank their fans. And we thank them back for all of the joy they’ve given all of us, which can’t be said in words, really. I love them all SOOOOOO much!

  10. You deserve all the awards you get because you three are so awesome you fill our days with laughter, and a lot of love, you guys aren’t just incredible singers but more importantly you guys are incredible people. Thanks you Piero for all you do for us.

  11. Nice awards, Piero. Now on to the Grammy award. 3 or 4 of them while your at it. The next one needs to be an award show where all of us here on this site shout ourselves hoarse each time you guys go to the stage to WIN the next award. Yes sir ! THE AMERICAN GRAMMY (come on, America ! time to wake up. we all live in the Pacificmtcentraleastern IL VOLO time zone ). Best group album; best song; best performance; best album producer and more.

  12. Gian, Piero, & Ignazio, do you get it yet? You are in our hearts, mind, and life, now and forever! You came, you give, and you are and will always be of utmost importance to us! You’re stuck with us! And that’s just the way it is!

  13. Hey Jeanine, sounds like things are somewhat on more solid ground. That situation is always a difficult one. I have missed you.

    1. Thank you, Kitty!
Things in my life and my family’s are very much on a moment to moment, day to day basis. Some days I just have to rest and not deal with the challenges of Mom’s dementia (beyond prayer, that is).

Our IL VOLO brothers do such a magnificent job of expressing in the moment and helping me to drop into the moment, as well as to lift spirits when needed.

A friend watched a movie called Alive Inside. She said, “There are no words to describe the transformations documented in this film for elders in nursing homes and/or living with dementia. Given an ipod with personalized music, these elders come ALIVE”

      Don’t we know it?!

Apparently musicandmemory.org is collecting iPods that are just collecting dust to load them with personalized music and donate them to elders who could benefit from them.

Now that would be a super cool benefit / fund raiser for IL VOLO! Who knows better about uplifting spirits through music?!

In gratitude for all loving outreach, our friends here, and our musical Brothers!

      1. Good to see your writing again, Jeanine. I think your ideas and creativity are so wonderful.

      2. Thank you, Myron!

With all the fabulous creative ideas you have, I feel especially blessed by your kind words.

Some day we’ll get to share our creativity and inspiration in an IL VOLO international fan club. By then, our cups will be overflowing with fantastic ideas!

        In gratitude,

  14. Hi Jeanine, So glad to see you back. I am so sorry to hear about your family situation. My prayers are with you and your family. I hadn’t seen a post from you for quite awhile and I was getting worried that something was wrong, so I asked our flight crew family if anyone had heard from you. I wish I had the words to help you through everything. I think the Ipod theory is a wonderful idea. Hang in there the best you can and remember that you have the full support of everyone here in the Flight Crew family.

    1. You DO have the words, Karen! This is heart-warming. I’m taking it in with gratitude and love.

We never know how much a few thoughtful words can mean to someone. Tonight they come like a cozy blanket of harmony!

I talked with my dad today, and he said Yes, they play music (I’ve given them lots of IL VOLO) every day, and it really helps.

      Love and gratitude,
      ~ Jeanine, Compassion’s Doorway

    1. Thank you so much, Loretta!
Mom is seeing neurologist today. Praying for wise help and guidance for next steps.
And a good dose of IL VOLO when she gets home! 😉

      in gratitude,
      ~ Jeanine, Compassion’s Doorway
