I don’t know about you guys, but watching The Guys’ Facebook and Instagram timelines over the last few days has made me want to be on vacation…preferably in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. How gorgeous the scenery is, and Gianluca certainly seemed to be enjoying himself earlier in the week…

Invited by Etihad Airways, Il Volo participated in a weekend of events hosted by the airline to celebrate the last Formula One race of the year,
the race ultimately being won by, Lewis Hamilton of Great Britian. Knowing how much the guys — and Piero especially– love racing, I’m guessing they knew they’d have a blast.

They’ve certainly taken us around the world with them and I’ve enjoyed all of their journeys and concerts! They do so much for us.
I have learn’t more geography from them than from all my years in school.for that matter, not only geography, but also singers I never knew existed

I, too, have learned more about the places on planet earth from tracking il Volo, than I ever thought I would! I’m not a racing fan, but I found that race to be interesting! That track was amazing!! I’m glad they are back home, though….I’m sure their families are too!

That you for all the pictures. It was amazing to share this trip with our boys and I’m sure they had fun. What a fantastic place! I looked on Google too and the island they were on and it is amazing what an unlimited bank account can create. It seems they were treated royally!
It is wonderful for them to be able to rub shoulders with the elite & they are recognized enough to be invited to these posh places. I’m sure Ignazio & Piero would have loved to drive one of those race. cars. I would have loved to buy one of those cars I wonder if they take visa
It was great to see how Gianluca enjoyed those days he was alone in Abu Dhabi. He seemed so free and having fun like a boy. Sometimes is good to take time for yourself and do pleasant things.
I am so happy that Piero, Gianuca, and Ignazio have enjoyed themselves in Abu Dhabi. It was great to see the pictures of them smiling and laughing and rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. BUT, we are down by over 14,000 votes!!! My clicking finger is going numb from trying to stem the tide!. VOTE!!!
The good news is “Our Guys” only need just a hair under 70,000 to reach the 3 million mark. The bad news is that Marco is 10,000 higher in votes than we are, which means he could reach the 3 million mark first.
