Our friends at Il Volo – English Translations have translated the entire concert from Milan to celebrate reaching their 100th translation! Yes Kelly I’ve been watching that concert on the IL Volo English translation page for a couple weeks now and it is wonderful to be able to understand what the guys are singing and saying. What an incredible show that was.
May this Valentine’s Day be filled with love, understanding and contentment, surrounded by those we love. <3 Understanding true love is not easy, especially the love between two people. The understanding of true love takes a lot of time, patience, and the readiness to accept each other when there is love between two individuals.There are many kinds of love and each depends on what we feel for another.
There could be love that you may have for your parents, children, pets, friends, relatives, or just about anyone, other than the love between two people. Thich Nhat Hanh said :“We really have to understand the person we want to love. If our love is only a will to possess, it is not love. If we only think of ourselves, if we know only our own needs and ignore the needs of the other person, we cannot love.”
Love knows no limits, no boundaries, and no limitations. It is unconditional, limitless, and always flowing. Mariana Fulger said :“Love is like the sunrise; hope appeared at the same time on two faces and in two souls connected by the same wonders and tears of life.” True love is all about the willingness to accept another for who and what he/she is, even if they are totally different from you. And yes, accept them willingly and happily without really trying to change them. If need be, you could try to change yourself or accept the change and adjust or help your partner in the growth of his/her soul to become better person, if he/she wants it in his/her heart. Buddha said :“True love is born from understanding.” True love is about sharing everything of your past, present, future dreams and hopes, good and bad times, desires and needs, material possessions, emotions, and just about every smallest of your life with your partner.True love is also about being compassionate towards your partner, to be able to heal old wounds, and to ease their pain and suffering. You help them overcome their fear and hurt. True love is also gentle as its character is to care and cherish one another. Antoine De Saint-Exupery said: "True love begins when nothing is looked for in return.” Understanding true love is all about making the love between two people shine right through. Your partner should be able to make you laugh when you want to cry, and should be able to hold you even when you make him/her mad. True love listens; it always waits, and is patient, kind, caring, joyous, and free.

Happy St. Valelntine’s Day to all! These translations that Susan and Tania have done are a beautiful gift to all Il Volo fans. The songs I loved before have even more meaning now. Though beautiful in Italian, knowing the sometimes heartache or joy in them, make them even more special. And it is a treasure to have the translations of the interviews and this amazing concert in Milan. I still love watching the concert from Verona with their special guests even without the translation. It would be great if these were released as DVD’s. Just a suggestion.

Kelly, Thank You so much!!! It has been snowing all day here in Chicago and I watched the 3 parts of the concert. It was fabulous. Seeing the English words meant so much and brought back my Italian. Grande Amore at the end was amazing as were all the songs.
