Miss the boys but follow many groups that post about them and pics of them. I wrote I am in Il Volo withdrawal. Cannot wait for 2019. Love these young boys. Enjoy yourselves you all def deserve it. Also I am so happy I have started following the IlVoloflightcrew. Someone I met on fb through the boys told me about this great fight. So, so happy. You all have a great day and keep up the great updates on the boys.

Are they not coming back to the US until 2019? What are they planning to do next year?

The guys have said on a few occasions and interviews that they are likely taking next year off to work on some special projects, their albums, etc. It is possible they will make some special appearances in various countries, but more than likely no official singing concert tour.
As in the past, they usually come up with some surprises for the fans.
We’ll just have to wait and see! 🙂

Jana I love your poem and printed it out so I can show it to my friends !!! I miss our boys terribly but I am glad that they are getting vacation time and are going to be working on new and exciting projects this coming year !! They play hard and work hard making all their dreams come true one by one !!! 2019 will be here before we know it and hopefully a brand new incredible tour in the USA !!!

Yes time is flying by. Wake up Monday morning and it’s Monday and you wonder where your weekend went, then all of a sudden it’s Friday again!

I know what you mean about the days and weeks flying by Jana !! Everything seems so far away and then BOOM !!!! It’s here !!!!!! That’s how Infekt about my trip to Italy in May !!! Months of planning, then all of a sudden it’s time to go and bing,bam boom it’s over and you’re home !!!! So we miss the boys but they will be back faster then we think !! 😃

Thanks, Jana, I hope they have the best summer ever!!! No, the Boys are not touring in 2018. I told Gianluca that both Carol Coates & I were afraid we might not be here in 2019! (We are both 89), He replied “Oh no.” & gave me a big hug & a kiss on the cheek! I did think when they release the new album they just might do some CD signings at our Barnes & Noble’s! I know, I’m grasping at straws!!! Love our precious Trio!!!
Of course our Detroit fans at pbs are hoping for a special visit as well!! 😉

I am wondering if Daniela can give any further information on something I read in Il Volo Mundial about the premier of the film Un Amore Cosi Grande in Venice on September 6th. Is this a movie done by the boys or just a movie with this title ? I think it must be a movie on their rise to fame, but I do not know if they are starring in it. PLEASE help if you can Daniela. Thank you so much.
I think that is the movie they were in that they just finished taping in Verona in May. Although I thought it wasn’t coming out until next February?

Hi Marion, Jana told you well, it’s a movie that’s been made to bring the audience to the passion for classical music. It is called “Un amore così grande” as the song they sing the boys. The guys themselves will be in this movie by interpreting themselves. It was shot in Verona and partly in St. Petersburg. When in May I went to the Arena for the concert, they were shooting the movie scenes.
There was a whole post on this topic on June 15, read it.
The film will be released in February 2018. Now they present it to potential buyers.
I’m glad Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca are having some well- deserved vacation time! They have had so many concerts and other appearances so far this year which has been wonderful for their many fans, but is is a grueling and exhausting schedule. And there are more concerts scheduled for the remainder of the year. I am sure they have exciting plans for next year and I am looking forward to whatever it brings. I also believe they will still feel the need to perform occasionally. They give so much to their fans but I also feel the love and joy they receive from their fans gives them something special.
I’ve heard that many performers say there is nothing like the live audience reactions. I think the guys have said it also.
I’m sure they will miss it and will be eager to come back to us as soon as they can. 🙂

Oh my dear Victoria! A precious and oh so lucky few of us here on flight crew, as well as a few more thousand, were fortunate enough to hear Gian sing his inaugural performance of this at the L.A. concert last spring. Priscilla Presley was also in attendance. I believe Gian, as well as most of the audience, had tears in their eyes!
