Happy Birthday Ignazio. You walked into my life and from the moment I saw you and heard you sing, I became a fan for life. I love how your parents and sister gave you much love for you to be so loving to others. You would think an old woman would not go gah gah over you but here I am. I am applauding you and dearly love you. I saw you in Mesa, AZ at Shout Out and was so tongue tied could only say “how pretty you are” when I meant to say “how handsome and sexy”. I wish you even greater success in your life and I hope many more discover IL Volo. You are the best of the best and I positively adore you, Piero, Gianluca. May you have many more Happy Birthdays. I have sent in my birthday greeting. However, I think I put on the subject line “birthday greeting” instead of “birthday wish”. I hope this does not cause a problem. For me, there are no words to express how much happiness I wish for Ignacio. Although I heard IL Volo in about 2011 or 2012, their voices just blew me away, especially the high clear tenor of Ignacio, coupled with his surprisingly gravel-like low tones. Since I just by chance heard them recently on PBS, Seattle, in IL Volo Ten Years – that video – well, I have been buying up all I can of their CDs and DVDs and watching old interviews. I will send in my selection of songs, and naturally they all feature some of Ignacio’s high sweet tones – but all their songs are good.
