The G7 on Tourism was held in Florence on 13 and 15 November.
Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè chaired the work sessions, which saw the participation of ministers and heads of delegation from Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the European Union and some nations and outreach organizations – Saudi Arabi , Brazil, India, Egypt, OECD and UN Tourism.
After the introductory event, the two days of work began at 8:30 am on Thursday 14th, with the ceremony in which Minister Santanchè welcomes the ministers of the G7 and the outreach countries. The work sessions covered: tourism and socio-economic development opportunities; human capital – work, inclusion and skills; digitalization and artificial intelligence.

At the end of the first day of work, a visit to the village of Monteriggioni and Abbadia Isola was planned, where the ministers arrived on board a historic train. The day ended with a performance by Il Volo at Palazzo Gondi. The G7 ended on Friday morning, with the closing press conference of Minister Santanchè in the Sala delle Reali Poste of the Uffizi Gallery.

“They are an Italian excellence. I have to thank them because they are ambassadors of Italy to the world.
Here they are, (applause) I was simply saying that you are an Italian pride….”

It wasn’t a real concert but a final performance at the end of dinner, it seems that Il Volo sang three songs:

Gianluca publishes a beautiful photo of a truly relaxing place in the mountains, perhaps Abruzzo? Will he be alone or in good company? If he wants, he will let us know!!
Our Ignazio is certainly in sweet company with his beautiful wife Michelle and in the company of Arturo, everything expresses sweetness!!

According to Maryland Public Television the Valley of the Temples special will air on MPT on December 4 at 8 pm and December 7 at 7:30 pm, and on MPT2 on December 5 at 8 pm, and December 8 at 7:30 pm.

The PBS station in the greater Tampa, Florida area is WEDU and the concert airs on November 29…I’ll be checking the schedule to make sure I don’t miss the time!

Yipee! They finally published the US/Canada schedule. It’s March 14 for me. And to collaborate with Pretty Yende who has sung at the Met and I like on Amazing Grace is great.
I am so disappointed- only 2 lousy dates in Canada and neither are great! I can not believe these locations – obviously there are more fans in the USA but give me a break! I am hurt and heart broken!!

Yes, there is a connection between VIP and Meet & Greet, those who purchase the VIP ticket also have access to the Meet & Greet, and also to refreshments before the concert, and the seats are in the front rows, which is why it is so expensive. You can access the Meet & Greet, paying separately, even with a non-VIP ticket.

I just want to remind everyone that the PBS concerts are heavily edited to allow time for their membership drives. As this concert was in Italy, they are certain to cut all spoken remarks and leave only the singing–as they have done in the past. What is left is a visual song list of the concert. And gone are the days when the guys would help man the phones for the membership drives, and if you called in a pledge, you might find yourself talking to one of them–if you were lucky!

So excited, got my tickets for the March 8 concert at the Hard Rock Casino, Hollywood, Florida, Luckily got close three rows back and middle of the stage. Can’t wait it has been a long two year wait to see them again. Also checked and we will be able to see the PBS special. Have been on cloud nine all day
