WORLD TOUR: BOSTON – LAVAL – NIAGARA FALLS by Daniela

It seemed like yesterday that the U.S. / Canada tour was supposed to start and instead we are already at the last four concerts.
But everything went really well, maybe even above expectations, considering that it was a while since Il Volo had been on tour in these places, but the volovers are lovely fans who do not forget their love for Il Volo over time.

March 31

BOSTON, with this concert the U.S. tour closes, this beautiful final date was held in the beautiful and historic BOSTON OPERA HOUSE.
Our friend Milagros was also present at this concert and will soon send us her impressions with a post!

Read what a beautiful review:

My favorite “happy accident”

by Kat 🌹 on 4/4/25Citizens Opera House – BostonRating: 5 out of 5
I have been listening to Il Volo ever since I “accidentally” stumbled upon one of their televised performances a few years ago. So of course when the opportunity presented itself, I just had to go see them perform live. I am so glad that I did. Not only was the music and performance wonderful, the venue was beautiful as well (I went to the concert at the Boston Opera House). I met some other fans before and after the concert, and I have to say, this group really does have the best bunch of fans—such nice personalities. It was the most memorable and wonderful evening.
At the Boston concert there was the couple Mary and Mark Minton.

What a beautiful experience to see these 3 amazing singers!

Il Volo gave an amazing concert! Their voices were truly magical and they were so charming with their little jokes! Love them! Please encourage them to speak a little more in their mother tongue! We need to make them feel welcome by allowing them to speak freely in Italian. It was an honor to watch them and I hope they will come back to Montreal again! Bravissimi!!

April 4-5

NIAGARA FALLS, the concert was in FALLSVIEWS CASINO RESORT.
Yes, two concerts in this place, the first one is sold out and the second one will be the last concert of the U.S./Canada Tour.

Our friend Judith was at the concert and she sent me this comment:
“This is Judith, I’m on my way home and I’m telling you about the concert at the Niagara Falls Casino. It was my fifth concert and I’ll tell you it was a perfect show, especially because it was the last night of the North American tour before returning to Italy. Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca were so happy and had fun on stage.
I think the concert hall held about 5,000 people and it was sold out.
I was actually surprised they chose Niagara Falls, it’s a very small resort community and there’s only one small airport on the American side.
The crowd was thrilled and amazed by their beautiful voices and delightful presentation.
At the soundcheck there were only about ten people and at the Meet & Greet only about twenty.
Probably 90% of the people at the concert had never seen them before.
The only person I knew and met with pleasure was Rose Marie Paliobeis who is part of Flight Crew, she was with her daughter Christine, we had a great time together.
I’m also sending you a photo taken from my hotel room where you can see the Casino and the writing IL VOLO.”
And so, it seems impossible but the concerts of the North American tour are over.
So long waiting for them to arrive and then it’s already all over.
They were frenetic days, one concert after another, a success of the public who participated enthusiastically and appreciated every song, every moment of Il Volo.
Il Volo published these words and these beautiful photos:
The North American leg is over. The World Tour is now heading to LATAM and Europe!
A big thanks to @trussardi!
And this was posted by Gianluca.
I believe that Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio did not disappoint the expectations of the new fans who approached one of their concerts for the first time and reconfirmed their power, their charisma, their skill to those who had already seen them live.
Like all beautiful dreams, this one is over and remains a sweet memory and a great expectation for the next tour.
They will return, I am sure, because the affection they receive from their fans is remarkable, it is an exchange of love from Il Volo to its fans, but also from the fans to Il Volo.
Now all that remains is to follow them in the various events and knowing their strength, we will not be long without news from them and in the meantime let’s get ready, they are returning to Italy, next appointment: MANTUA!!
See you soon, Daniela 🤗

Another chapter comes to a close: our ninth North American tour in sixteen years of our career. And yet, it feels just like the first. Because the emotion never fades, the excitement never wears off. What changes is the way we see the world, every day we learn to look with new eyes. And maybe that’s exactly what allows us to still be amazed. With great love, Gianluca, Ignazio, and Piero.

  1. So very happy that since the beginning, your dreams have come true. . . a true testament . . . So glad we’ve been able to see you twice, earlier on in your careers, because now good seats are prohibitive in price❣️ 😘 🥲 😉 Maybe next time. God Bless Always!!! ❤️💗💕

  2. It was a wonderful and exciting tour and also over too soon. I saw them twice during the tour and brought family and friends with me. We all had so much fun. Someone videotaped the entire San Jose concert, including funny chatter and I have already watched the whole concert twice and relived the fun evening. Thanks Daniela and Pat for all the descriptive posts about the tour. Now until we meet again!

    1. Yes Janet, I’m sure you enjoyed it and will watch that concert many times, it is more enjoyable when we were present at the evening.

  3. Lovely photos and videos. With such good description of the concerts. I’m very envious.
But it’s lovely you had a great time.
I hope that one day they will visit the UK and not just for one night.
They need a good rest now before the next concerts .
    Thank you

  4. Hi Daniela and Pat! It is true that North Americans are very ardent fans, many of us for all 16 yrs……but while feeling full of love and admiration of our wonderful three, within a short time we’re starving to hear those magical voices and see those beautiful men in person again! Hoping they one day soon they will visit us again…..NEVER too much of ILVOLO!!! Thanks for a lovely read again!
Sending love, thanks and gratitude to both of you for always keeping us in the loop! ❤️😘🤗 Carol 💖💖💖🎼🎤🙏☮️🦋

    1. You’re welcome, Carol! 😊 It is my pleasure to help keep you in the loop! That’s why we watch all these lovely videos! Never too much IL VOLO! 😍💗

    2. I agree Carol, you can never get enough of Il Volo, when you go to their concerts, then you risk feeling nostalgic for their voices. But here in Flight Crew we will do everything to keep you updated on the various Il Volo events.

  5. Ladies, thank you for putting this together for us once again.
I liked the write up for New England Music Video with her good descriptions.
She said something that caught my attention. “when all three were singing, they stood side by side at the stage’s edge.”
    You’ve all seen this.
Years ago, when I first noticed them I saw and listened to
“Un Amore Cosi Grande.” When they came up to the edge of the stage, there was such beautiful force. It blew me away.
That’s when I fell in love.

    1. You’re welcome, Gail! That New England article was wonderful! It is so easy to “fall in love” with them! 😍🤩🥰💗

    2. Gail, the article by New England Music Video is really fantastic, I noticed with pleasure that the one who went to see the concert to write a review, was enthusiastic about it and you can tell by the tone with which she wrote the article!
On the other hand we have always said that those who go to see Il Volo for the first time are pleasantly surprised and are immediately hooked by their charm and talent.
Also it is true, they know how to position themselves on stage, they are charmers!

  6. How do we sa good bye to them!! WE DONT!!! I love their music but seeing them in persn listenng to their music melt into your heart is a dream come true every venue was special amazing and perfect thank ou for all the beautiful articles and love you put into them!!!
    Cindi

    1. Thanks Cindi for the nice compliments.
It’s never a goodbye with Il Volo, it’s always a see you next tour!!

  7. Fantastic article, pictures and videos and what the guys said at the end. Great videos from everyone involved and also articles from other people. Love Il Volo forever and success on your next concerts in 2025 . I’m glad I joined and can see everything they do and also to everyone involved with this amazing music project all over the world! Thanks again everyone!
    Love Il volo forever!!❤️❤️❤️
    Linda- Pittsburgh

    1. Thank you Linda for joining the Flight Crew family, stay with us and you will be updated on their concerts with photos and videos and impressions.

      1. Thank you and to everyone with Il volo . You’re all amazing people and thank you again. One of these days I’ll see them live

  8. Applause, applause to the guys, all the people who helped them put on these concerts. Thanks to the Flight Crew for all your coverage and comments. Thanks to the people who sent you the “reviews”, their photos or videos. I can hardly wait to hear how Milagros’s night went in Boston. I have been thinking about her since that night. One more big Thanks–Grazie a tutti And thank God for keeping them all safe. Barb

    1. Barb, thanks for the compliments. Milagros will write her impressions soon, she also met them and interviewed them.
She is also preparing for her graduation in May.

  9. Now that the guys have gone home to enjoy some down time there is that void we all feel in our lives. Thanks to my dear friend Judith for posting the photo of the three of us having a bite to eat before the concert. We went to both shows and I went to the soundchecks too. Piero and Gianluca came down from the stage to meet their fans. Such a special moment, they shook hands and gave hugs. They spent some of their prescious time with us just making small talk and answering questions. There were many, many Italians at the concerts cheering, anpplaudingj and many standing ovations. I hope they come back very soon.

    1. Exactly RoseMarie, that void that concerts leave when they are over, but of course Il Volo doesn’t get bored very much, I’ve already written a new article about what they did in these few days in which they returned to Italy…….they never stop!!!
Nice meeting you and Judith had, maybe soon you will come to Italy together.

  10. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Good thing I don’t work any longer as I spent all morning listening and watching the videos! Such wonderful young men and such glorious voices!! So glad their North American tour went well and now they can spend some time with their families.

I cry each time I hear Hallelujah, Memories and Music of the Night, the emotion is so raw. Gian really expresses his feeling with his hand gestures while singing Music of the Night. What a performer! As they all are. Igna’s high notes and Piero’s rich voice are such a joy to hear, too. May they never change their welcoming personalities!!! Much love, Dol 💕💕💕

    1. Dolores, you should know that sometimes there are so many well-made videos that it is impossible to choose and leave out some. The fans are very active and share everything they film and also really beautiful photos.
I don’t think I will film in Mantua because there will be television coverage and it can’t be better than that, but I will try to find moments that are not on television but that we like a lot.
There will still be a lot to discover in Mantua about the individual personalities of Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca, I’m sure of it.

      1. Lucky you, Daniela, to be living in that wonderful country and able to see our Il Volo often. I’m sure it still isn’t enough for you. I only wish I could hop a plane and see them in their mother Country (and yours). What a treat it would be! Hugs, Dol. 💕💕💕

  11. Thank you Daniela for this wonderful article. I too was at both concerts and sound checks in Niagara Falls, my 7th and 8th seeing them live. I have to make a correction, though. There were actually about 25 people at the sound check for the second concert and considerable more for the first one, maybe 35-40? Nevertheless, the boys were very gracious and sweet and so personable. I actually got a picture with Piero at the second one and Gianluca said he remembered me being there the day before. Piero has such a great personality, I can’t believe he’s still single! Gianluca is more soft spoken but so very sweet. Not sure if anyone noticed, but Gian was wearing a ring (a gold band) on his right hand. He’s been very private about his relationship with Claudia, but maybe…? Ignazio is absolutely hilarious as well as extremely talented. I had my Flight Crew badge on, but only saw one other person (whose name escapes me) with a Flight Crew badge. We were both at the front of the line at sound check of the first concert and got to chat a bit. I brought family members with me, one of whom had never seen Il Volo in concert. She was blown away! All in all, both concerts were magnificent. The more times I see them, the more I miss them and want to see them again! I hope to fulfill my dream of seeing them in Italy someday. Ciao Ciao,
    Manola

    1. Thanks Manola for telling us about your two concerts and also your clarifications.
I’m happy that those you brought to the concert and saw Il Volo for the first time were happy…..but I had no doubt, Piero Ignazio and Gianluca are “stage animals”

  12. Thank you for the wonderful summary of the last concerts. The last two were in the beautiful surroundings of Niagara Falls. The person who lives in the hotel right next to them has a truly amazing view! I noticed that there is still snow and ice floes lying around. It was nice of the guys to add another concert when they saw that the first one was sold out. Maybe it was also because it was at the end of the tour, so for logistical reasons they could do it without any problems. I think they pleased a lot of fans with that!

They are now asking for something similar from Argentina, the concert in Buenos Aires is already sold out! Last year the dates were so close that they added the second concert in Sofia on the same day at 3 pm! Two concerts right after each other, incredible how they manage it! This year’s tour in LatAm is also without time gaps, just to move to the next concert location.

I was very pleased (and I don’t think only me) that Gianluca was accompanied by Claudia. She made it clear that she intends to participate in all aspects of Gian’s life. I’m not sure if she stayed for the whole tour, but I think she fit in nicely with the rest of the team. It’s obvious that he’s happy with her, he really deserves it. And I’m certainly pleased that Claudia was positively received by the vast majority of ilvolovers. The guys already have to deal with all the interest from fans, some of whom assume the right to talk into their lives. I definitely don’t think it’s our place to comment on the guys’ choice of girlfriends. But they’ll certainly be happier and calmer if there aren’t any significantly negative comments (like in the past).

I was expecting Michelle to show up on the tour too and I was a bit sad that I didn’t see her there. Now the reason is clear – and it’s the most beautiful and amazing reason in the whole world! Constantly traveling by tour bus across the continent is exhausting and it’s understandable that in this case she preferred the peace and comfort of home. Ignazio must be literally in euphoria! A thousand blessings and congratulations for the expected princess who will soon fill their lives with incredible happiness!

    1. What wonderful news for a beautiful couple! Good luck to everyone with Il volo and much success for upcoming concerts in 2025 and of course to Michelle and Ignazio !

    2. Yes Iva, this tour was a success, in terms of audience and love and we are all happy about it.
I am also very happy to know that the pre-sales for South America are going well!!
I agree with you that Claudia is well integrated into the Il Volo group and, even if it is not binding, the fan group has welcomed Gianluca’s “new girl”. It seems right to me that Gian and Claudia are cautious with their relationship and we are happy if they are happy.
I would say that the news given by Michelle yesterday has confirmed the fandom to the stars, which is why Ignazio will surely be over the moon and with him all of us!!

  13. Such wonderful news of Michelle and Igna’s expected baby!!! May they have a beautiful wee Boschetto bambino to start their family and, after a while many more! Hugs, Dol 💓💓

  14. It has given me sheer joy that you have managed to share your precious time and blessed us from your presence at the Bell Center in Laval, Quebec. I’m still amazed how excellent and joyful this evening was. I appreciated every moment you coming in and making your visit so wonderful. Your dedication to providing the best experience is inspiring and I am left with smiles and tears. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Take care of yourself, and each other. With love.
