Il Volo leaves Poland, next stop Bulgaria.
November 28 SOFIA
The concert was at Arena 8888.
As I’ve already explained, the concert will be recorded and broadcast on Canale 5 on Christmas Day, so in addition to the scheduled songs, Christmas carols will also be performed, and the arena will be decorated for the holidays.
I don’t want to spoil the Christmas surprise too much, especially since I’ll be showing you the entire Christmas concert later, so I’ll just show you the beginning. 😉

How wonderful, what a wonderful Christmas atmosphere with the stained-glass windows illuminating a heavy snowfall, and what a wonderful opening song, superbly performed by our treasures, showing off their beautiful voices.
I won’t suggest anything else related to Christmas, even though I’m eager to see more videos. But be patient, Christmas is just around the corner!
How lucky the Bulgarian audience was to have witnessed this magnificent concert! I’m truly happy for them.
But there’s some news.
Il Volo announces that they’ll be back in Mantua in September for three evenings of TUTTI PER UNO, which will be broadcast on Canale 5.
Ticket advance sales are already open.
First of all, I want to apologize for the delay in updating you.
My daughter is moving, and I’m busy helping her, and Il Volo has concerts so hectic it’s hard to keep up with them.
Lots of great news and so many successes. I think Il Volo is doing a truly fantastic European tour, and the love they’re receiving everywhere is priceless.
And what can I say about Incanto di Natale, a concert that looks fantastic and that we’ll be savoring in its entirety during these holidays?
I have another piece of good news (especially for me): the Brescia newspaper has published the names of the singers performing in Brescia, my hometown….and Il Volo is among them!!!! I’m so happy about this, but for now, it’s news that needs to be confirmed by Il Volo.

Liebe Ina, ich hätte Verona auch sehr bevorzugt. Ich bin mir bezüglich Mantua noch nicht sicher. Ich warte noch auf die Bestätigung für Brescia, aber ich denke, es wird für ihn auch kein Problem sein, nach Mantua zu kommen. Ich halte dich auf dem Laufenden.
Brescia sollte auch im September stattfinden. Vielleicht sehen wir uns ja dieses Mal in meiner Stadt!
I definitely would have preferred Verona too, dear Ina. I haven’t decided on Mantua yet. I’m waiting for confirmation on Brescia, but I think it’ll be easy for him to come to Mantua too. I’ll keep you updated.

I just have a question for you or anyone else who has knowledge of this: online there is a confirmed date on Ticketmaster for Il Volo on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Rosemont Concert Hall in Chicago. The 2026 U.S. Tour must be starting on that date or possibly earlier. Tickets for that concert go on sale on Dec. 11, 2025.
I haven’t heard anything at all from the Il Volo Fan Club or seen any announcement on the Il Volo website.
Is this true or a scam?
I’d check with the venue. I never heard of that concerthall but that doesn’t mean anything–I haven’t lived in Chicago for years and years. But see if you can find the venue and ask the box office if such a concert is planned.
Penina, the Brescia concert was also announced by the Brescia newspaper, but it may not yet be confirmed by Il Volo, so it’s best not to trust news not published on the official website.
I have also heard this! If you look on the official Tour schedule it is not on there either, they have many dates in South America and some gaps! Personally I am hoping there may be some Canadian dates too! Keep all fingers and toes crossed!
Sheila, I believe that some dates will still be added, in the meantime the published ones are official and for the others, it’s better to wait for direct confirmation from Il Volo.
Dear Sally, the move is actually over, but the house is completely in disarray. There isn’t a single room ready. It’s a house that needs renovating, and my daughter and her husband are doing it after the move, so my husband and I absolutely must help. It will be a long process, but sooner or later everything will be okay.
The U.S. tour schedule has been published, but I don’t see the date you’re asking for yet, so I’d say don’t trust it for now; wait until the dates are made public.

Great article as always and lovely footage and video clips. Especially from the surprise Christmas special in Sofia. Oh my, I so much wish I could have been there and had that treat as the little sneak peeks I have heard so far promises a fantastic show. They must have been sooooo busy between all the other European concerts preparing for this TV-special – how do they find the time? It seems to include not only all the popular Christmas carols and hymns from their grand X-mas show in Miami back in 2013 but likewise even more of the same genres. It’s amazing and sounds beautiful. This is exactly the kind of Christmas Concert I would love to enjoy. These days the Christmas Shows around here are no longer featuring the traditional songs but rather new modern tunes relating to the annual TV-Christmas Calendars for children – and in all honesty they do not bring me in the right spirit. But IL VOL most certainly does – so I cannot wait till the full concert will be available to stream or playable from YouTube.
And wow the guys seem to have a new business manager or something now suddenly announcing upcoming concerts more or less one by one as they sign the contracts – even for 2027. It’s grand in one way but also somewhat annoying as for us foreigners it is a bit difficult to choose the right venue to travel to not knowing the entire 2026 schedule. Personally, I had intended to travel to Italy for one of the “Tutti per Uno” concerts that I had hoped would have been back in Verona and I did also anticipated to take place in May as usual. Alas, that doesn’t seem to be the plan – and late September 2026 is, unfortunately, not a suitable time for me and my husband to attend. We have already booked a holiday apartment in antoher Italian region for the first week of September – and hence will be in Italy – but we cannot afford to extend the stay with several weeks to meet with the dates in Mantova. It is so sad – but, now I pray that the anticipated concert in Brescia may be an opportunity. So Ina, sorry, we shall not be able to meet up in Mantova this time, but I wish you and all other IL VOLO fans a fantastic time there!

And for once I am truly lucky, as one of the concerts – the one in Macerata, Italy late August – dies just fit with our holiday plans as a hand in a glove. And even better – in spite of not seeing the announcement till 6 hrs after the opening of the presale, I’ve managed to get hold of two good front row seats! I’m in heaven 😋👍❤️. But geez why do they sent us the announcements with one hour’s notice only? It is soooo nerve wrecking. But this was like a pre Christmas present 👍All the best.
