…….and also the wonderful birthday wishes given to Ercole on the evening of his birthday!!
And here we are on Spanish soil—specifically, in BARCELONA.
July 15 BARCELONA
The concert took place in the beautiful gardens of the Pedralbes Palace.
As you know, when the country hosting the concert changes, the setlist changes too; consequently, some songs will differ out of respect for audiences of different nationalities.

Lake Sound Park shared the following words, along with videos and photos:
“Tonight, we get ready to welcome the three most beloved Italian voices on the international operatic pop scene: Il Volo 🎙️✨
There are evenings that possess a unique energy from the very first moment, and this is one of them. 🌅
From here on out, conversation blends with music, the sun gives way to stage lights, and summer takes the form of an evening meant for singing along and making memories ✨🎶”

As you’ve heard, a wide variety of songs were performed at the last two concerts. Admittedly, the schedule is grueling—a show every other day, a varied setlist, and stifling heat—making it a real *tour de force*. Yet, I believe these efforts are amply rewarded by the love every fan pours out during the shows—a palpable love that the guys surely appreciate.
See you soon—we’re heading back to Spain!
Daniela 🤗

Thank you, Daniela. I get tired just watching them. Thank goodness they are young and in great health. Safe travels as you chase them around Europe. I appreciate everything you keep providing us. Grazie! Grazie! Grazie!
Yes, Eileen, they have on their side the resilience that comes with youth, as well as the strength they’ve gained over the years and through the support of their fans.
A mano a mano“ einzubauen. Manchmal wundere ich mich, dass die Leute immer die gleichen Lieder aufnehmen. Man sollte sich stattdessen die Lieder anhören, die sie seltener singen, denn die sind wahre Schätze!
In fact, Ina, changing their performance schedule is really impressive, but sometimes people would also like to hear other songs and that’s why I try to include “Mi sono innamorato di te” and “A mano a mano”. Sometimes I’m surprised that people always record the same songs, instead you have to listen to the songs they sing less frequently because they are real gems!!
Thank you Pat and Daniela.
Another great post. I don’t know why I get so emotional when I hear the songs and see the ragazzi.
I love the opera side, as it always reminds me how my Father loved opera (the 3 Tenors) and many others and I’m sure he would have loved Il Volo.
What will I be like when I go for the time to see them in Bologna! A box of tissues will definitely be with me!
Plus the venues are amazing. I love Italy anyway so just adds to your lovely stories.
Grazie Milli

Love from Fenella 👏❤️❤️
You’re most welcome, Fenella! 😊 Their songs have brought me to tears many times! Music absolutely touches my soul!💗🎵
Fenella, I love that the three of them can perform such a vast repertoire in concert—ranging from opera to pop with so much talent and success. It’s certainly not something just anyone can do, but they can!
I have to say, Luz, that lately I’ve been happy to read so many kind words about their singing and the songs they choose. The audiences are appreciating them more and more, filling their concerts even in this incredible heat. It’s a real effort for the three of them, but it’s greatly rewarded by the love of their audience.
Great article and videos and pictures of our handsome Il volo. Thank you for sharing.
Linda from Pittsburgh
Linda, I’m always happy to hear that you enjoy what we post—keep following us!
Wow this was exhausting! I hope they didn’t mind all the heat, they looked too warm….glistening! Beautiful concerts, music and our three wonders!
We’ve had some over heating here as well and Smokey fog for most of last week due to the enormous fires in Ontario Canada, it’s been over the NE and mid West…finally it rained bringing clear skies and milder temps for now! I hope all of Europe gets the same break soon!
Thank you so much for the wonderful videos, photos and our favorite guys singing….they’re keeping you and Pat very busy! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart,
With my gratitude and affection for you both and ILVOLO!!! Carol 💖💖💖🎼🎤🎹❤️🤗😘🙏🏻☮️
You’re welcome, Carol! 😘 It has been hot here too in Missouri. We had a brief shower yesterday but it only made it more humid. After today it will cool down for a bit.
I don’t know how the guys sing in the heat. I don’t know how the audience copes with it. I sure couldn’t do it!
Sending hugs and kisses! 🤗💗😘🎶
Our three guys certainly suffered a lot from the heat, Carol, but as you can see, they always rose to the occasion—always professional yet personable and unique—and their fans always showed their appreciation with immense warmth.
thank you both for the lovely videos of the boys concert ,the setting is brilliant ,i do feel sorry for the heat the boys have around them ,they never fail to amaze every one with their songs and their voices ,regards
You’re most welcome, Pamela! 😊
Thanks for the compliments, Pamela. I’m happy too when I find videos on YouTube because I know everyone can watch them without any issues—and this time there were plenty!
Dearest Daniela and Pat – you did it again – gave us a lovely insight and feel of the guys’ latest summer concerts. And brilliant as usual. Thanks a million for taking the time to search the net and find these fine treats I commend IL VOLO for always trying to adapt to the situation and select a set-list suited the best to the country or place visisted. I do have to admit though that I have to get used to hearing the lovely Abba song “The Winner takes it all” in the Spanish language… hm…. but I trust the Spanish audience has appreciated that very much though. As a special gesture. And Ignazio sings it so beautifully.
I don’t know who plans the guys’ Tours – but it must be a young person who enjoys travelling… as here in Europe there seems to be no red thread as to same but rather zig-zagging across the entire continent in no particular system. Well, of course distances are relatively short – and having learned that one of the luxuries the guys have allowed themselves is to charter private jets to journey them around – I guess it seems worse on the paper than in practise. And apparently not the least Piero enjoys these short flights in spite of having made countless numbers of them as he is still photographing take offs and landings LOL. Anyhow I wish them a safe journey and continued successful Tour.
Best regards and greetings – Kirsten, Denmark
You’re welcome, Kirsten! 😊 I think some of the scheduling must have something to do with the availability of the venue, don’t you think?
Hi Kirsten, you should know that I also enjoy finding little things—comments or articles—related to Il Volo’s concerts; discovering the well-deserved praise written by so many people is truly striking.
I believe the concert schedule was originally intended to be exclusively Italian, but at the request of certain countries, concerts outside Italy were added. Naturally, this all had to be approved by our three guys, and even though it meant extra back-and-forth travel, they did it to please their fans.
The summer venues have a charm of their own, and it is truly wonderful to see Il Volo performing in such beautiful, historic locations.
