Our guys in Japan – Last Notte Magica! Nov 29 & Dec 1, 2017

This is it, the LAST two concerts of the official Notte Magica tour!  They did it.  They made it!  What a year it has been.  A little bittersweet now….  yes, we were tiring just a little tad, for they were the same songs, just a different city.  But as the tour progressed to the different countries and continents, we saw them loosen up a bit and almost get back to their old crazy selves!  It was so nice to see – we missed that about them  Yes, they are growing up, not children anymore, but of course, we like to see them having a good time… 🙂

Their next engagement will be December 13 in Mexico, for the Ferrero Rocher concert.  I’m sure they’ be singing some songs still from Notte Magica.

Right now, they are all back in Italy, somewhere…. I imagine enjoying a short break before heading back to Mexico, then it’s off to Australia, and then home, home at last, where they will be working on their next surprises for us!  Will they tour next year?  Only the Il Volo Shadow knows….. 🙂    Ah, wouldn’t we all want to be that shadow?

There seem to be a lot of newer crew members who have missed some great concerts and videos. The one, Amore e amare l’amore, with Toto Cutugno, is one of them.   They  also sang Il Mondo and O Sole Mio at that concert.  Whoever filmed the Il Mondo video was fixated on Ignazio, keeping the camera on him for the whole song.  It’s fun to watch as he sings along under his breath when the others are singing.  And they have some antics during O Sole Mio.  Piero is wearing his red glasses, Gian is elegant in a white jacket, and Ignazio is wearing the same suit he wore for the Disney outing.  The old faithful among us can tell what year it is by their outfits, hairstyles and the progression of Ignazio’s beard. 

Let us go back to 2014 in Moscow.

Won’t I?!?!?!?!?!?  I thought you’d never ask!!  Next cruise Il Volo takes, I’m on it!  And yes, I need a vacation, but that’s beside the point… 😉

Cruise Oyster Luxury Crusing announced the news in May this year (cruiseoyster.com) and I’m sure if the cruise wasn’t already filled with Il Volo fans, it was after the show.  I’m sure of it, because that’s how it always is; people simply can’t help falling in love with them.  <3

Notte Magica – Kiev, Ukraine! October 23, 2017

Yes, folks, the tour is winding down with Kiev, and just Japan after this one.  Soon the memories of these concerts will be like autumn leaves, blowing in the wind.  As the remnants of their voices rustle in our head like falling leaves, and we rake up the memories, let’s treasure these last two cities….

Let’s start with the meet/greet!  Looks like there was a small crowd for this one and the lady in red got 3 pictures!
