The first signs that the date was very close were given by the video of Michelle trying on wedding dresses which I have already forwarded to you.
The next day Michelle published the photo to show that the dress had been picked up and therefore the date immediately seemed more imminent.
The same evening, a family dinner took place with many beautiful photos that suggested a nice “stag/hen party”. Here they are.

The wedding was officiated by the mayor of San Lazzaro di Savena with a civil ceremony.
The guests were few and intimate, the bride and groom were beautiful and radiant with happiness. 😍😍
The fateful moment of YES, while Ignazio and Michelle hold their hands together.
MAYOR= Do you, Mr. Ignazio Boschetto, intend to take Michelle Marie Bertolini here as your wife?
IGNAZIO= YES, a very sweet and sentimental yes, as he turns his gaze to Michelle, but then Ignazio, for fear of not having been heard by the others present, tells the mayor to wait a moment, clears his throat and repeats in a loud voice YES!! Everyone laughs, including Michelle, and Ignazio turns and asks: “Is it understood?” ❤️😂😍😍

And here we are on Saturday 14 September, the day of the wedding party and the exchange of promises and wedding rings.
In the afternoon we discover from the first rumors that the party will be on Lake Como, in the beautiful Villa Sola Calbiati!!

The bride wears a beautiful dress by Tosca Spose, elegant but also simple, a tight bodice with a neckline that leaves the shoulders uncovered and with a crisscrossing of the fabric on the chest.
The skirt in vaporous fabric falls softly from the bust, widening widely at the bottom. A beautiful long veil with a high lace edge is closed over a crown of silver flowers resting on hair simply left long.
Everything is very elegant and our Michelle is simply gorgeous! ❤️

A very excited Ignazio awaits her and will say splendid words:
It was difficult for me to write this, because I had already expressed to you everything I felt and everything I imagined at Christmas, when I proposed to you.
For me it was always such an important step……that was you, and so I wrote a sort of poem and the title goes like this:
TO MY WIFE
Our story is unique, one of those stories you see in films, or that are told to children. It all started from a look, a look so intense and profound that I fell into it and in the end I never got out.
From the moment we saw each other in November, I knew it was you, I had my wife in front of me.
After a week I gave you the keys to the house, after twenty days I met your family, after a month and a half I asked you to marry me and after less than eleven months I married you.
We are two crazy people, it’s true! Sorry Enrico (Michelle’s dad).
But as I told you last Christmas, for you there is no perfect time, there is only “our time”, you and I together, from the best moments to the worst, and I discovered it little by little, together we grew a lot in a short time, trying to be the best and for our future family. Thanks to you today I feel like a better man, worthy and ready to take care of my family. And it is with you that I want to experience everything one hopes for in the family, it is with you that I want to cry and I want to laugh, it is with you that I want to wake up every morning, it is with you that I want to experience the privilege of being a father. (Ignazio is moved)
I can’t explain to you in words what I feel inside, what happens to me when you take my hand and when you hug me, or when I see you sitting at a concert and we send each other kisses, or when I wake up and see you by my side every morning.
But I have the certainty that I want it for my whole life, I can’t do without it, they say it’s love, and that it’s all contained in one word: I LOVE YOU, but a bookcase full of empty books wouldn’t be enough to write to you many times. I love as much as I truly LOVE YOU.
It would be obvious to say I will take care of you, in joy and in pain, until death do us part, but I want to tell you that you are my life, that I will give you everything you have never had and maybe even then you wouldn’t know how wonderful it is to love you. Forever together, I LOVE YOU! ❤️

I would like to recount this wonderful day through my eyes.
I saw two souls in love, looks that spoke of a love that is pure and authentic. I have seen hearts that still retain the simplicity and purity of a child, enclosed in bodies of adults. I have seen the happiness of those who have found true love, that feeling that knows no time, rules or boundaries, without too many thoughts or reasoning, but only follows the heartbeat, free and wild.
I wish to scream to the world how much I love you, because in the end, besides affection, what really unites us are the shared experiences, the moments that touch us deeply, between joys and challenges of life. These are the moments that shape a relationship and make it unbreakable. Even the most distant characters, if united in sharing everything, learn to sail together in the turbulent waters of existence, creating a unique and unbreakable bond. And this is exactly what binds me, you and Piero more than anything else.
And to you, Michelle, for being a real, good, pure, sincere, clear person, I can say that if it’s true that the people we choose reflect our soul, then you perfectly embody the inner beauty of the man you chose to love.

It was 1994 when I saw your eyes for the first time.
It was love at first sight, I who wanted you so much, it was the most beautiful day of my life.
I can’t explain in words how much I love you, but you have made my life unique and full of love.
Big brother, (saying “big” shows her affection for Ignazio) you and I have been through a lot in life, good things and bad things, but our strength has always been to never give up and always fight. You are a clear, good, generous person and ready to worry about making the people you love feel good, sometimes without thinking about your own feeling good. You know, I always tell you that I hope one day to find someone who is a carbon copy of you, or who looks like you, but I already know that it will be difficult. Of course you too have your flaws, but you are the brother, friend, confidant that anyone would like to have. We have such a strong bond that we don’t need to talk because we immediately understand if everything is fine or if there is something wrong.
Sister-in-law, I don’t know which angel brought you into my brother’s life and into our life. From the first day I saw you I immediately understood the person you are, and I said to myself: “But how is it possible that they are the same?” You are a woman with a capital D (donna=woman in Italian).
You know what you want too and you always think about making the people you love feel good. You are kind, good, delicate and full of life and I want to thank you because you brought joy, serenity and happiness into our family that we no longer had for a few years. To me you are not only my little sister-in-law, but you have become my little sister.
Obviously I have to thank both of you, who take care of me and my mother but above all thanks to both of you because you changed my life, you made me reborn for the second time, you know why.
