IN CASE YOU MISSED IT……

RSCN1014Report

10/3/13

Hi Everyone,

Tomorrow is a big day! October 4, 2013 is Ignazio’s 19th birthday and is also the first concert of the “Mas Que Amor” Tour. We’ll cover the concert today, so we can save tomorrow to celebrate Ignazio’s birthday.

Tomorrow’s concert in in Guadalajara, Mexico at the “Auditorio Telmax”

On September 1, 2007 the auditorium was officially opened with a grand opening event hosted by Plácido Domingo.

During its construction, the University of Guadalajara was supported by the federal government of Mexico, the government of Jalisco, the Municipality of Zapopan, the Chamber of Deputies of Congress and the state Congress.

The auditorium is constructed to suit events both small and large as it is equipped with mechanically movable platforms and the sound stage can be adjusted in size by moving its movable walls. There are also 27 suites built in and an underground parking lot with direct access to the venue is available.

Twitters, Tweets and Keeks:

Gianluca yesterday, “My Instagram is working again! Yay!! kisses.” He sends another knock out picture of himself!!
Piero,” #ferriswheel of Guadalajara.” He tweets later, “I really needed 3 days off, #relaxing #Guadalajara.”
Ignazio tweeted yesterday “Hello everybody!! I feel almost Mexican!”

Check Mundial for some good videos and photos.
Team Il Volo has the promo for the CD signing and performance at The Mall of America on November 29th. Great for you Crew members that live near there!!

As we all know tomorrow is Ignazio’s birthday.
We’ve seen him grow from a cute, dimple faced boy to a handsome young man. He blows us away with his extrodinary voice, his sense of humor and his sweet heart. We at the Flight Crew want him to have the best day ever!!!

Linda

  1. Blah, Blah, Blah, Guadalajara. Still mad at them for taking My Boys away. I told you I don’t like to share. Lo Siento (I’m sorry) Guadalajara.

However, that last paragraph made a little tear trickle down my cheek. Speaking of cheeks…As of tomorrow HE will finally be old enough for me! After today Ignazio, Run! That will be your only warning.

  2. Lijoy I’m sorry. We’ve tried everything. No take-backs. You can go there and try to do another one. It might let you. Don’t know for sure.

  3. On my way out the door until at least 8:30 PM east coast time.
    Ignazio,
Happy Last Teen Birthday. May all your dreams be realized.

    1. Just so you know I am probably going to burn in hell. Currently sitting in church check Crew posts,Twitter, and posting.

  4. Marie, you gave me a good laugh about Iganzio running. I don’t like sharing the boys either. I want them to stay here forever!!!!!!!!!! They are “our” boys…lol.

  5. Wow, just watched some of those clips on Il Volo Mundial of the fans in Mexico. I have to say I am a bit jealous of how the people there show their love for them. Maybe I missed it but I have yet to see a clip from the United States like that. I can see why the boys love going there.

  6. They are definitely screamers! What a nice welcome for Our Boys! Did you see the average age? Heck, most of us would need oxygen if we screamed like that!

  7. It’s probably because their fan base over there is largely teenagers. Teenagers are very emotional and there’s no doubt they love ll Volo. The concerts in the US are largely attended by adults.

    1. Fantastic review from Amanda Martin! I hope her video review encourages other teens to do quality reviews (like hers) of IL VOLO. Would love to see Amanda join us here, also.

      Thanks, Kathryn,

  8. I am thrilled beyond belief to just find out about Il VOLO coming to the MALL OF AMERICA!!!! I was so bummed when they did no upper Midwest concerts this time around and now THEY ARE COMING!!! After seeing them last year in concert in Minneapolis I just can’t wait to see them again. I will bring my 86 year old mother along as she loves them as much as we do!! I can’t wait!!! Even though it will be “Black Friday” with a bazillion people there…it will be worth it to plow through those crowds to see and hear “our boys” once again.

    1. So you are the “other” Minnesotan. We knew there was someone, but didn’t know who. I’m almost as old as your mother and will have my daughter and granddaughter to escort me to the Mall–bazillian crowds and all. Pinching myself to be sure that I’m not dreaming that they are really coming here.

  9. Aside from the fact that this history lesson means that our guys are not here…with us…and I’m still very sad about that… (yes; I’m pouting like a 2 year old), I’m loving the new additions to your pieces, Linda. Bite sized education…I love it! 🙂

  10. Thought about Amanda joining us, but didn’t know if it would be a comforable fit for her. I know we would welcome her, but that’s us. I wish I knew how to get a tweet to her, just to tell her how much I enjoyed, and apprieciated her comments; and that I tweeted Guanluca to check it out. Hope he did. If there is a way to do that, Jeanine, please let me know or contact her yourself. I’m sure she would love it! Thanks for responding to me.
