Hi Everyone,
It’s been a long hot summer, at least down here in Florida! I understand it’s been a bit cool at times up north! We’ll be lucky down here to see cooler temperatures in November! It seems this year that Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca have a longer than usual summer vacation at home. Usually they are touring at this time of year. Italy seems to be sunny and pleasant for all the guys, judging from the time each one has spent on the beach near their homes.!
Piero attended a fashion show in Campobello and received an award. See slide show below thanks to Kelly
Ignazio has been spending time with friends and it is reported he is working on a project with his friend Geno. Geno is the guitarist that played in the concert in Taormino with Ignazio.
Gianluca has been going to the beach, but spent some time with his father and Michele Torpedine at a jazz concert in Montepagano.

Ignazio is spending time on the beach and hanging out with his friends too, he just likes his time off to be mostly private. Can’t blame him there.

Wonderful Linda! I’m so happy they get a long break and are having so much fun! That Piero! Does he get more handsome every day? Nice shots of all the guys. However, the Ernesto/Mrs. G one takes my heart. What a family! What Guys! Stop it Marie! You can’t love them more. Just can’t! There’s no more room.
Of course I agree about Piero getting more handsome all the time. And it’s easy to see why Gianluca is so sweet and loving to all when you see his mother with Erny. She definitely raised him right.
Thank you for this posting. We all miss Ignazio but he likes privacy. A while back I read someplace that he wanted to move to Balogna for more anonymity so he could work writing music. They boys have been together so much we start considering them as a unit IL VOLO. Some time apart gives them back their separate identities. Will be glad when their concerts start again.
Terese, I heard Ignazio say that he was moving to Bologna for privacy too. I also heard him say he would like to move to Hollywood! I guess time will tell.
If he truly wants privacy, he isn’t going to find it in Hollywood!

Thank you for all updates. I’m so glad they are having off time, but can’t wait for post of their September concerts. Flight Crew you are the best, giving us our much needed Il Volo nourishment.

I recently looked at past photos of Piero from the begining to now and he has truly and extraordinarily changed in looks…and I’m not just talking about his ears!. He even looks great unshaven. I may have to change my name from pirate to cougar…nahhh. I would like to know what the award was he received.
The picture of Ernesto and his Mama was so sweet it was almost heartbreaking.
Good for Iganzio for his privacy, if it keeps him happy to be more private then we need him to be happy. He does give us glimpses and thats just fine.
Gianluca, I am always surprised that none of the big fashion houses of Italy haven’t tried to have a fashion shoot with him by now.
I think today is the award in Miami of the Premios tu Mundo thing. Has anyone heard how our guys did? I tried to get the Telemundo channel on TV. Joan
I agree with all of you about Piero. Just yesterday I played my DVR recording of their Take Flight show at Detroit Opera House and thought again how adorable each guy was. Now they are becoming stunning young men. But as I always say, Piero captured my heart first time I saw him on TV. I look at every picture I can find of him. Love his singing voice, his talking voice, his smile, his beautiful black hair, and oh so much more!
The best I can determine with my very limited Spanish, the show will air tonight on Telemundo at 8pm.
Thanks so much for all the updates, and I agree with so many of you that Piero is getting more handsome all the time, that picture Ernesto and Mom is so beautiful, they are such a loving family, it’s also nice to get a glimpse of Ignazio from time to time, but I guess they all need time to be with family and friends, they are certainly having a well deserved vacation, looks like they are all having fun, but I do miss them, it’s just nice to be able to visit this site and hear anything we can about them, thanks again for keeping us posted.

Watching “Premio Telemundo” now. They have given out several awards and il Volo – groups – have not been mentioned yet.
Keep us posted Ann! A lot of us can’t get Telemundo!

I just watched the entire show and didn’t see them give the award for Duo or Group either? However someone on Il Mundo posted that they won in their category. I don’t know if this information is correct. Hope it is !!

I went to the site movil.telemundo.com and clicked on the tab “ganadores” (winners). Tere is a picture of Il Volo and when you click on that, Ganadores is next to their name. I think they may have won!
