Ignazio’s Birthday Project – Update

I am happy to announce that the package is mailed today and is on it’s way to Marsala, Italy.

I took the picture last Friday and there are about 70 cards at the time.  The final count is 82 with a few of you sending multiple cards.

Many of you also send me thank you cards, notes, and even a handmade Gianluca 2015 calendar (Love it!!!) and thank you so much.

I also receive the request from many of you to confirm receipt of the card, so here is the list:

  3. Thanks for undertaking this task. I had a second card that played “Chihuahua”. Very funny but my cat Isabella loved the song and sat on it and ended the music.
    I hope they do something for Ignazio while they are in Russia.

Dearest Elaine-I am feeling extremely emotional right now because you have worked so very hard to make this happen ( of course not forgetting the input from others on the board) for our precious Ignazio and made it possible for us to express our love for him in such a special way. I know he will be very touched and certainly feel all of our love for him when he reads our many “20th Birthday ” cards and letters.
    I am blessed to be a part of this very loving community of Ilvolovers that adore our Ignazio,Gianluca and Piero and share our love for them together everyday. xoxo

  11. Elaine, you and the other board members are such a special group!! What did we do to deserve you? This b day project for our Ignazio was a stroke of genius!! I, too, wish I could be there to see his reaction!! Dimples will be flashing all over the place!! I pray for their safe return to warmer climates!! Thanks again for all “yall” do!!   14. Can’t figure out what I did to make that huge space in between my first post and this. I had to chase the cat because she was chewing on one of my silk flowers. So maybe in haste I hit some buttons I shouldn’t have. Sorry ’bout that. In any case, Elaine, thank you so much for all your hard work putting all our birthday greetings for Ignazio in the mail. Can’t wait to hear what he says.
