Hey, Everyone!
It’s 4 am here in St. Louis, and I’m supposed to be up in a little over an hour to start my day. But since I’ve been awake since 2:30, I’m guessing it’s a moot point by now. 🙂
It seems natural that in the quiet of the night, I turn to Il Volo–and in turn, you–to occupy my mind instead of concentrating on the ticking of the clock. If I’m not going to sleep, I can at least be relaxed.
Plus, it’s the one time of day I’m not thinking of the next thing I have to do before the day is over.
Provided my kitty will allow it. She hates when I’m using electronics and not paying attention to her. 😉
But I’m way off of my point. I’m writing tonight to say, “Thank you.”
Thank you all for loving and supporting us in this venture called the Flight Crew. Thank you all for loving and supporting each other everyday. Il Volo has made us family, and all of you have made this site what it is as much as anyone that formally writes and contributes.
Thank you for all of your kind words on my pieces when I post. Thank you for the warm “welcome back” and condolences over the losses of my aunt and uncle. I want you to know that while I couldn’t always respond to your comments, I saw them all. I always do. And I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you, Myron, Jeannette, Danielle, Jana, Kitty, LeeLee, Ann, LiJoy, Elizabeth, and Julie for adding your touch to the site. I love what you have brought to us and the help you give unreservedly.
And, Thank You, Marie! Between the two of us, you’ve done the lion’s share lately, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that.
Linda, Michelle and Elaine, I know you have so much going on that you guys can’t be here as much as you like, but we miss you. 🙂 Hurry back, Ok?

Thank You, Kelly. What a warm and wonderful note. I am happily retired. I wish you had the time to play on this site with these lovely people like I do. It is the most rewarding fun I’ve ever had! I feel we can all express ourselves here, without reserve, because of the unconditional love we are surrounded by in this “family”. Another reason to thank Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio. We are here because of you!
I’d like to jump in with Kelly and add my sincerest Thank You to all of you who have viewed this site from 151 Countries, 613,000 times in 20 months.
My thanks, as well. Every time I come to this site I join with you all in the love that is Il Volo and the Flight Crew. Tears frequently, laughter frequently. And where else can I go to see and express my own feelings for this phenomenon of Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio? The writing here is superb! Prose, poetry, silliness. I love you all! Thanks you!

Kelly, your post, as usual, is beautiful! I love this site! I feel as though everyone is part of my family because of our love of Il Volo. It’s amazing how these three young men have changed us for the better! WE ARE LOVE because of Il Volo!
I start my day always with the flight crew. It,s a warm and fuzzy way to face what lies ahead in the day. Like Kelly, I am a nurse by profession now retired and was always involved with people. Now I am alone and look forward to reading this site . Thanks to all of you who contribute . Joanie g
Whomever thought up”Flight Crew” is a genius! If there are two or more, they are “geniii” !! I look forward to this site each day…and especially the coments!! I’ve always thought my best feature is my sense of humor…now I know many who have this same trait! The articles are so entertaining…the coments are priceless! Thank YOU, Kelly. Without my Il Volo family, I would have no one to share the love that I have for these fine young Italian men we know as Il Volo. Piero, Ignazio, and Gianluca came into my life in 2011 when I most needed someone or something to bring back excitement, love, and something to look forward to every day. So a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you on the Flight Crew!

I have to express my big Thank You to you, Kelly! Your wonderful contributions have meant so much to all of us. The Flight Crew founders have put together a unique safe place to express the deep affection we have for three amazing Italian ‘boys’. When I first heard these boys, I felt so uplifted and amazed by their demeanor and voices. When I would talk about them with such joy in my voice, I would also get from friends, and some family, the ‘eye roll’. However, this is the safe, happy place where we can share freely our experiences and love for Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio as if they were part of our own families. Il Volo Flight Crew is a family, and I am so glad to be part of it. Love, Harriett
