A hug is a smile with arms;G and I's dads

Our guys, they have all the charms;
Hugs by day and hugs by night
Our guys, they rule, with all their might

hugs 3When we’re feeling sad, you see
We just have to look to Italy
Piero, Gianluca, and Ignazio, too
We just love them so, don’t you?

You are feeling blue, you say?hugs 2
Why, it’s a beautiful day!
Their eyes so bright, they light up the room
It’s certain to chase all our gloom!

We sigh, and we melt, our eyes filled with pride
You see, our young boys, have grown into men,
They’ll soar to new heights, for we know that they can!

So, hugs all around, for you and for meHugs 4
From us, and from them, to over the sea
Our angels in flight, will always be near
That is the truth, for we will not fear!

  2. Very nice Jana.:-) I have read that one needs at least 7 hugs a day to be healthy and feels the love that we all need in our life. Many hugs – life is more beautiful and better. 🙂

  7. Thank you Jana that was lovely. Our precious young me are very generous with their hugs and make all their fans, young and old, feel very loved and special. I hope on this beautiful Sunday everyone can find some one to hug,be it a family member or friend, and get a big hug in return and here’s a big hug from me to all of you !!♥️

  11. Big hugs to all of you this Sunday. Jana, I love your poem. Isn’t it something how we feel so much better getting hugs. It’s suppose to give you good endorphins when hugging.

    I do have to thank Marie for finding all of the beautiful photos of the guys to go with my poem!

    One week from tomorrow we get to watch Pompeii!!! 🙂

      1. Oh Marie, I wish!
        It is sooo frustrating not knowing what they are saying in those interviews. If a 3 year old child can speak Italian, then why can’t I. Google helps, but I need Jana to give us some more lessons!
        Marie hopefully tomorrow I will receive my CD.

    1. Ineke, My fingers are crossed that your CD arrives tomorrow! After knowing you and mailing things back and forth, no offense, but I have a new appreciation for our U.S. postal system!

      Actually, meeting many of you here from outside of the U.S. has opened my eyes to many things we have and many things I wish we had here. Just another benefit of that trio of angels.

      It is frustrating not knowing what they guys are saying. I’m trying to convince someone, who was in Italy recently, to do some translating for us. We’ll see.

Hugs are the universal medicine.You can’t wrap love in a box, but you can wrap a person in a hug. 🙂 Jacques Prévert said :”Millions and millions of years would still not give me half enough time to describe that tiny instant of all eternity when you put your arms around me and I put my arms around you. “A hug is a handshake from the heart.A hug delights and warms and charms,that must be why God gave us arms. A hug is a great gift — one size fits all, and it’s easy to exchange. Someone said :”A kiss without a hug is like a flower without the fragrance. ” I think it is true. Hugs and kisses are like the stars that light up life when things get dark. The best hugs ? From my mom.❤️❤️❤️ There’s nothing like a mom -hug.❤️ Our hug is two hearts wrapped in arms, I feel ❤️..Sometimes it’s better to put love into hugs than to put it into words, but I think no sometimes , but correctly is always. 🙂 A hug is the shortest distance between friends.Especially it is necessary to hug because you never know when is the last time, because of death or other separation may come unexpectedly and there is nothing sadder than a feeling that we can not hug, kiss our loved ones. I know it from my own family….my mom lost her parents, grandma died in 2011 and grandfather in 2014 and also father’s mother died last year….So give hugs our families and friends as often as is possible and show our love for them until it isn’t too late..
