  1. The casino # is 800-832 7529 but they don’t know anything yet either. Keep checking back with them . Tickets only thru Ticketmaster or in person @ the casino. WNED PBS Buffalo /Toronto is showing Il Volo Pompeii on Aug 27 @ 9:30 pm I ‘ m guessing as apledge drive. Call the station during the program and find out. The # is on their web site.

      1. Nada. Live up in Adirondacks in NY state. Am going to concert in Albany NY Could go to concert in Montreal but too much city hassle. Big venue. So decided on Albany . Two hour drive south & charming Vaudeville theater. As I mentioned before have spare ticket . $75 thru PBS and they told me great seats. Confirmation letter coming 9/18 & will know seats then. Where are you? Why Orillia? Seems rather off the beaten track unless they expect a lot of Canadian attendees.Getting a little chatty here! Ciao

      2. It’s fine to be chatty! I don’t know why they chose Orillia. Whoever advised them about it has no clue as to the weather up here in February. Talk about off the beaten path! I figure the city venues will be more or less okay unless there is a really big storm–I know there have been some doozies upstate and I have driven in a blizzard through Albany on our way to Cambridge, MA. I just think they have no conception of what they are getting into. I wonder why they didn’t start on the west coast and work their way eastwards so as to be in the northeast at the end of the season.

  2. I will be flying alone from Midway airport in Chicago for the Las Vegas concert. I will leave on Thursday and return on Sunday. Linda Dawson seems to be doing the same. Hope we can get in touch and maybe hook up. Can yougive her my e-mail address please? Thank you.

  3. Marie, I will be going to the Bank United Center Miami, Florida concert on March 5th. I hope to be able to meet you in person there and meet other members as well. Also would like to know who else will be attending the Miami concert.

  4. This morning I purchased tickets to see Il Volo at the State Theatre in Easton, Pennsylvania. Tickets are available only to members of the State Theatre from today until next Friday at which time it is open to the general public.

  5. Of course we have yet to secure our tickets, they are on sale this Wednesday but Laura Parish, and her daughter Christa Owen from Washington State are going, and I plan on meeting them there too (God Willing) . Marie, I hope to hear you sing Karaoke version of “Un Amore Cosi Grande” at the fan fair. You told me that’s one of your favorite songs IF you were to sing Karaoke! How many drinks would you need first? LOL!

  6. Has anyone settled for tickets in the balcony or towards the back? I’ve been so spoiled with good seats the past two times that I don’t know if I even want to go if I have to seat so far away. Feeling sad.

    1. No, I did not settle for tickets in the balcony or on the far sides or back. I am spoiled also.

Actually, when the presale tickets for the Fox Theater in Detroit went on sale, I did not accept any of the tickets that were thrown my way from ticketmaster the first day. They were just not acceptable.

They then announced better seats would be on sale the next day. I went ahead and bought 2 seats for my husband and I, even though they were not the greatest. Then I got word about better seats for a little more money that I was told were M&G tickets. Ticketmaster cancelled my first order and allowed me to buy the other ones. Well, they were not actually M&G tickets. They were in the pit, Preferred Seats, with a drawing for M&G tickets for one person to win. A Package that was being offered that was confusing to me and also to someone at the Venue that told me about it. I called back and explained that was not what I thought I was getting. So, because it was on the day that I purchased tickets, they let me change again to the actual M&G Package, husband approved, of course, actually his idea, and I was able to get 2nd row, center aisle seats that are the M&G tickets. Too many packages, confusing.

I think that if you actually want the better seats, you have to pay the price.

Keep watching the seats at the Venue you are going to and maybe they will open up better seats towards the end. That is a gamble to me, but I actually was able to get better seats two previous concerts that way. Two years ago, I called the Venue on the day of the Concert because they had opened up seats that were much better than what I was able to get and I was able to move our seats up, by paying the price difference. Just a few rows back and centered. The couple on the left side of me got their seats that way and the same with the people sitting on the right side of my husband. We were all happy. Ignazio came down and pulled a girl from the row right in front of me to take to the stage. Marie and Loretta will remember that girl. She acted so strange and Ignazio was so funny with his funny looks to her.

I love il Volo, all three of them. I can’t choose just one.

Sorry for the length, but keep trying to get the seats you want. I understand that some Venues will change them and some will not. Sometimes Ticketmaster will change the seats and sometimes not. Just make sure to check with the Venue also.

Good luck to you and I fully understanding your feelings. That is the way I felt on the first Presale Day this year.

Now my concern is the weather in Ohio, as I have close to 4 hours to travel to Detroit. Yuck! I am still trying to work on my husband to go to Las Vegas to see the boys also.

      1. Good advice. I know about the waiting until the last minute for the possibility of better seats. Never could take that chance myself. There are some pretty good seats available now. We got second row center in Ft Myers and First row, almost center in Miami. All venues seem to be operating a little differently. The confusion is no different this year! Darn it!

        I remember the odd “Maria”.

Hope you make it to Vegas!

  7. Marie,

I will be attending the Concert at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan along with my husband.

I am still working on him for Las Vegas also, but…….. lol

  8. I, my husband, sister and her husband will be attending Las Vegas and San Jose. Looking forward to meeting the Flight Crew!

  9. Working with a theater miles and miles away is hell. I just discovered that San Diego tickets have a PRE-SALE starting at 10am on August 25. Gen Public go on sale on August 28. I found ticketmaster ready for sales but so have I found all the sharks circling the water. I have zip idea who qualifies for the Pre-Sale. I have a sneaky suspicion its not me although I do have an account with Ticketmaster but bet that isn’t worth much. Not only this but I am supposed to be in a meeting at 10 am tomorrow!!! UGHHHH!

    1. I sympathize, I really do! I am having nightmares about tickets! We don’t even know if the venue is confirmed or not! Let alone when they will start to sell tickets, or little details like how much they will cost, or if there will be a M & G. Never have I felt so helpless about something like this–it is driving me nuts. So ARRRRGH
away! You have a sympathetic ear a couple thousand miles away…

      1. Every year I hope will be the year of organization and ease of obtaining tickets. Not happening again.

Wish we could be of more help, but every venue is doing it differently. Sorry folks.

    2. Pirate,

Like Marie said, I think that all venues are operating differently. I had to have a special code to enter for the Pre-sale through Ticketmaster, for tickets for the Fox Theater last week. I DID NOT pay for the code like a website wanted. They were charging $5.00 to get the code. Each venue has a different code, I think, at least the couple that I looked at so far. The Fox Theater told me how to get signed up to get the code and it was sent to me pretty late, I thought. Then they were nice enough to call me before the Pre-sale started that morning and give me the Code that I needed. As I stated up thread, the seats that were thrown at me the first day were not what I wanted. The next day they put the M&G, a Merchandising Package and maybe preferred seating up for sale, still had to have that code. Well, you can read the rest of post on obtaining tickets. A nightmare is what I thought. I have looked at a couple of other venues and sorry to say, but if you want the close-up seats you are going to pay a good price. Maybe closer to the concert they will open up close seats, but I just couldn’t take that chance.

Get that code, somehow, even if you have to call the venue early that morning. Call in sick to work, I am kidding, maybe not. I babysit 2 of my grandchildren, 1-1/2 and 3-1/2 yrs old. Was I ever upset that it was my week to watch them, 50+ miles from my home. Son/dil’s neighbor kept the kids at her house while I tried to get tickets that first day. Then a bad storm that night had the kids up most of the night. Little one was very tired in the morning, so down he went for a nap. Mickey entertained the other one while I was trying for more tickets the second day. I feel someone upstairs was looking over me. lol I could never have been able to be on the computer trying to secure seats as long as it took me to, if both of the little ones were up and running around. No way, Jose’! So, I was lucky.

I hope you can get your seats and that all works out for you. I was very upset that first day. I don’t know if the venue you are looking at will operate that way or not. Call and ask is all I can say. Or go ahead and pay the $5.00 for the code for the venue, at least I had to have one. The Ryman in Nashville also required a code, but the guy I talked with gave it to me about two days early. And it was different from the Fox Theater. Sorry, so long again. Everything is different this year, it seems to me.

Oh, just looked back at your post and you should have il Volo listed as a favorite with Ticketmaster and make sure that all of your personal information is up to date, Name, address, credit card number, ect. That will help, with the venue also. I waited 16 minutes to have seats thrown at me the first day when I called, then maybe 12 minutes, each time I turned the lousy seats down. It was not fast and I was on the computer right at 10:00am, internet only for the Pre-sale, for me.

      1. Marie,

You can enter my name and my husband as attending the Fox Theater Concert in Detroit, and then pray for good weather and roads for me.

      2. Jeanie, It worked. I got a GREAT seat way down on row CC (third row!!) seat 16. w/Meet & Greet!! I am going alone to this concert but I won’t be alone, I will be surrounded by fans like me. (well kinda like me!) Thanks for your encouragement.

      1. Thanks Marie, I live in OKlahoma and will hopefully be going to that concert, I would like for Gale and Dory to know also, and maybe we can coordinate when the tickets become available.

  10. I live Dallas, Tx & originally planned to see Il Volo here.  Please correct my “where” to SAN ANTONIO TX.  Just wanted weekend vacation. Have Front Row..so excited

  11. YAY! Its offical! I just got my ticket for IL VOLO in San Diego! Orchestra Row CC seat 16!!! Meet and greet package! Whoooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I threw my pirate hat in the air so high I haven’t seen it come back down yet!
However I see I am the only Flight Crew person going to San Diego. I really must rectify that when I get down there. Lets see how many people I can bring to the Flight Crew!

  12. Aotliz, do you know anything about a m&g in San Antonio? Got tickets but no mention of m&g! My daughter b and I are on 4th row…I never really thought they would be this close! Pray for good health for next 6 1/2 months! Dot…..

    1. Marie, Meet and Greet is sold out in Ft Myers, but I did get tickets to the concert, right side, row 9 aisle seats. I would love to meet you.
      Alice in Florida

  13. Hi, friends!
Was looking thru emails to be all prepped for Vegas IL VOLO and found this post I wrote on our blog here on June 28, 2014:

Let’s hold the thought for Las Vegas!
Myron has been working on this for a very long time, and IL VOLO’s management understands his dedication (from my understanding).

From my observation of IL VOLO’s management team, it looks like they don’t like to talk about or announce anything until it is a done deal (which seems wise). That said, I’m guessing holding this in our hearts and our hopes is best, so it doesn’t reach the level of rumor.

We can hope, dream, pray, envision all we like!
And then celebrate when the time comes. Yes, Myron?!

    ~ Jeanine, Compassion’s Doorway

Makes me cry now as this is REAL!
    Myron, Jeannette, everyone… WOW!

    Love from Jeanine
