They will make great fathers. Selfishly am not ready for them to start families yet. I think they need a few more years of building their careers, enjoying being in the “20’s” and finding the soul mate. But I am sure they have their own ideas.
I know too many men who have a “ho hum” attitude towards non-related kids and some who even have the ” get these brats out of here” attitude, but our guys are shining lights when it comes to being unfailingly kind with kids and babies. Being a father is going to bring them their greatest joy but also the greatest challenge as they try to balance fatherhood, family and performance and recording schedules.
God bless their future wives, may they be capable mothers and patient, loving wives!
Very well said. I am amazed at how wonderful and natural they are with all children and even babies. So unusual in young men their age, but not surprising considering how loving they are. Watching them kissing, hugging, touching a cheek, Piero tying a ribbon on a dress and Ignazio throwing a baby in the air, it is just lovely to see. But as you said it will be a great challenge for them to balance fatherhood and performing, but if anyone can do it, they can. I pray they will have a wonderful family life when the time comes.
For some reason, in this particular collection, Piero with the pre-teen is my favorite. They all are so sweet, but that one most of all…
I don’t know why….maybe because she’s old enough/unguarded enough that you can see how much it means to her…and maybe it is a slight bit of wonder in his eyes?
I’ll never forget back in 2012 when I saw the video of the guys with little Mia (an All Things IL VOLO photo above). I was astounded how present and gentle and loving they were with little Mia. When I was already in awe of them, that just took them up several notches in my estimation!
Now watching IL VOLO is a never-ending awe-inspired, happy-dancing, tears-flowing experience!

I would be all those things, Pirate. The Guys just aren’t paying attention.

I don’t know if I’m explaining it well…
and Gianluca needs to have only daughters … and I like the way Ignazio always nuzzles his nephew….
Personally, I can’t wait to see those little curly haired Italian babies. Wait…Weren’t the Boys little curly haired Italian babies 15 minutes ago?
Yes! Maybe it was only 10 minutes..
Beautiful photos. Someday it will be them with their beautiful children we will be adoring like we do here. They will be the best fathers ever!
