Perfectly describes his effect on us and a whole lot of the rest of the world. And those pictures….Oh Jane those pictures!
Some of you will disagree, but I see Gianluca as the baby. OK… My baby. To me he is the most sensitive and sweetest of the three. I have a desire to nurture and protect this amazingly talented, beautiful young man. I want to cuddle and hug him and never let go! Guess I love him a lot.

Marie, I agree with you. All 3 are just as sincere as the day is long. You see it in their eyes, feel it in their hugs and sense it when they speak. Whenever I see that photo of Gianluca and Ernesto hugging their Nonno it about takes my breath away. Whenever I see Gianluca reaching out to to touch Piero and Ignazio I smile. He is without fail the one who lives by touch, by his signs of affection and camaraderie. I often think American men are afraid to touch unless its more like a slap on the back or a firm handshake. I don’t know when I last saw my two brothers be that affectionate and they are men in their fifties. Italian men have no such problem and Gianluca is a prince of affection easily and warmly given.

I’m a puddle right now too. Whenever I hear that voice, let alone watch him while he is singing, he just tugs at my heart. He feels every song he sings with that beautiful voice. I’m so glad I finally got my hug from the Abruzzo Prince.
When we were at the Fan Faire, Gian took a selfie with me, and all the time I had my arm around his neck( not long enough) I got that warm and fuzzy feeling from him.
He’s like a big teddy bear!

Jane, Thank you for the beautiful pictures of our Il Volo “baby”. I went to 2 M/G’s and both times he came to me with open arms and the warmest hug. I love all three boys equally but he is the sweetest, warmest of them. Now I have to go clean up my puddle of tears too. Gianluca, ourbaby, our “Prince of Affection ” May God watch over and keep you.
