The following photos are during, before, after – doesn’t matter.  They’re lovely anyway.  Looks like they were presented with Gold or maybe even Platinum records.  Hard to tell but go figure, right?  They should be at multi-gold and multi-platinum by now.

The following photos are from the photographer at the Microsoft Theater.  Professionally done!  Stunning!

The evening event even made it in one of the Italian news articles!

    1. Incredible photos Leelee thank you so much. What an exciting surprise it was for all the Il Volo fans to have Maestro Placido Domingo conduct the beautiful orchestra and perform with our boys. It is the thrill of a lifetime!. Our boys looked so handsome, didn’t they? I’m certain their concert was a memory to last forever. They sang Granada as the true professionals they are and Non Ti Scordar Di Me with Maestro Domingo was definitely a goose bump moment . I have to say the most thrilling and special part of the concert for me was when the boys introduced the Maestro to thunderous applause. Placido spoke so proud and lovingly of our boys and you could see in their eyes that they were returning the love right back to him. It must have been something to witness that love exchanged between these artists that are of a different generation and yet thorough this beautiful musical connnection have found in each other a deep mutual respect and love. It is something very rare these days and it is pure pride love and joy that we feel for Il Volo and their musical message of love. Thank you Leelee for all the photos and notes and experiences of this concert; you truly made me feel as if I were there enjoying this Notte Magica.

      1. Oh, Margaret, you are so lucky to have been there! What a thrill it must have been to see it live. I’m so glad you had that experience. I got goose bumps with just the way you described Maestro Placido Domingo coming on stage, being introduced by our guys. Wow. Thank you for sharing this with us and thank you for your kind words. It is a pleasure to do this.

  1. Oh Leelee I wasn’t at the LA concert; I was feeling every emotion of the concert through your photos and words. Your post was so descriptive I could “virtually” experience all the beautiful concert moments as if I were there. Thank you so much.

    1. HAHA – Margaret, I didn’t think I was that good. Even more so, thank you! The way you wrote sounded as if you were there, too! Together we’ll have everyone wondering “were they there or weren’t they there? Remember the commercial “Is it live or is it Memorex?”

  2. Very nice this post and beautiful photos.
Our boys seem to me the most beautiful and stylish every day.
See Placido Domingo who looks at them with benevolent affection, it makes me proud.
Leelee, many of the group were in Las Vegas and also I look forward to know their impressions, particularly of Myron that will give us his opinion as critical.

    1. Thank you, Daniela. They do get more handsome and stylish each day. I, too, look forward to hearing from the Crew who were at this super concert.

  3. Wonderful Leelee. They look so happy and proud to be with Placido…and he with them!

  4. Thanks Leelee for another wonderful post, the videos and pictures are super sharp and clear. The singing of “Granada” with maestro Domingo conducting is awesome. Domingo’s heartfelt speech to the Volo team was very special. The love and respect they have for each other and for music is a beautiful thing. The high point came is when Placio Domingo Tenor joined voices with Gianluca, Piero and Ignazioi in the touching “Non Ti Scordar Di Me” beautifully done. It brought tears to my eyes . Thanks Flight Crew for all your sharing .

    1. Me, too, Vincent! Brought me to tears as well. To know how Il Volo must have been feeling gives me goose bumps to be with such an icon doing what they love most.

  5. Wonderful job Lee Lee … The pictures and videos are just fantastic… Il Volo with Placido Domingo in Los Angeles made this performance so very special… Thank you for giving to us fans who could not be at this concert the videos and pictures to enjoy.

    1. Jeannette, now it’s up you to let us live the evening of Las Vegas concert, but do not make us wait too long, not like Marie who makes the precious

      1. I have sent my summary of the wonderful evening to the Flight Crew team, but I did not take pictures or videos… Daniela, if you can get some pictures and videos together, that would be wonderful..

    2. Thank you so much, Jeannette! It is truly my pleasure (and fun) to find this stuff and post it for everyone here. There were so many pictures to choose from. The gallery of pictures was plentiful but I couldn’t post all of them because it would put Word Press in overload! LOL!

    1. Thank you for the link… Wow those pictures were amazing… To bad every theater does not do that… Very professional pictures and a lot of them… Good job on the site…

      1. Hello Jeanette, we must agree to the meeting in Verona, I send you an email.

  6. That would be wonderful… We will be there from Thursday to Sunday… We are going to both concerts in Verona, and then on to London… Send me a private message on facebook and we can work out some details…

  7. Leelee thank you so much for the incredible post. Even though I couldn’t attend any of the concerts, every time someone post a recounting of their experience I feel like I’m there each time!!!
