Well, do you? ~ by Marie…

Buongiorno a tutti!!  🙂

(posting a wee bit early this morning!)

Way, way, way, way back

Flashback Friday!

While we are waiting for Marie to return to her seat (we really must take those pictures of Igna out of the cockpit!), “Ok, come on, good girl, follow the dimple….” I thought I’d repost a poem she wrote many years ago….

– Do you “one click” order from Amazon and Barnes & Noble?

– Do you hum Their music at Walmart? The Doctors office? Work?

– Do you know the location of Abruzzo, Marsala and Naro?

– Did you pay $400.00+* just for a closer look?  *price updated for 2017!

– Do you know what the letters “TLUC” stand for?

– Do you feel the need to use words like Buonanotte, Grazie and Bravo?

– Do you look for that freckle on the end of Ignazio’s nose?

– The small scar on Gianluca’s right cheek? Piero’s little cross?

– Do you plan to spend the rest of your life celebrating Their lives?

Well, do you?

I already knew you did.

Welcome, this is exactly where you belong.

  2. Thank you, Marie for sharing your poem again!!! So nice to hear from you. You are missed! Our Boys continue to stir our deepest emotions with Notte Mahgica’s wondrous music! The passion & power is stronger!!! We are under their spell of enchantment for the rest of our lives !!!

  3. Oh Penelope!…. oops, i mean Maria…. oops oops oops…. Marie!
where are you. i ever remember your “super-straight hair” instantaneously curl up beside the guys ;-)….. there’s proof. i saw the pic!

WE MISS YOU! (but am happy you have a break and some good rest and relaxation.)

    buona notte
    hug you

  4. Oh, Marie…you are missed! Jana et al are doing a splendid job, but who am I to tease about “himself”???? BTW WHAT DOES TLUC stand for? ❤ ❤ ❤

  5. Ah…..we do have some newbies here!!!!

Ok, you site veterans out there, please explain what TLUC is! Only THE most important acrynom for the boys 🙂

    • TLUC: Ti Lascio una Canzone (I will leave you with a song) the TV show that Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio started their careers on, hosted by the wonderful Antonella Clerici, who is surely one of their “godmothers.” You can find old clips of this show by going to Youtube and putting in Il Volo TLUC 2009 and see what comes up. Fun to watch–oh that hair! those ears! those clothes! I bet the guys cringe whenever they see these. But the voices are there, and so are the dimples and the curls!

      • Penina, 10 and praise, you’re just a veteran.
        Compliments.
        BRAVISSIMA
I also believe that the guys when they see those pictures laugh a lot for how they were.

      • Thanks, I knew it was familiar, but was having a senior moment! How could any of us forget those beautiful moments! One of my cherished videos is when they came back as Il Volo! Don’t think there was a dry eye in the house! ❤ ❤ ❤

      • ciao peninahonig, i did just as you suggested, look at Il Volo TLUC 2009 on youtube. and voila! i saw some clips i had not seen before…..
OMG! they are sooooooooooooo cute! 😉
thank you so much for sharing that tip

      • They were (and ARE) adorable. You can find clips by putting in their names individually also with TLUC in the search.

  6. Marie misses us a lot.
Jana, Jane and Kelly are doing a great job but you do not have to leave your crew.
Resume your forces, but then we want you here.

Beautiful that photo of Ignatius, never seen before.

  7. That picture came out when they were starting to sing & when he was heavier & extremely cute. Then when he lost the weight the transformation not only changed his body but his features as well into the handsome man he is now.
