We knew that Il Volo was live on German television and announced that he was leaving the next day to come to the U.S. probably to promote their tour and also the new PBS special.

Meanwhile here in Italy on Saturday 7 December on Canale 5 the repeat of the second concert at the Verona Arena this year was broadcast.

I particularly loved the song translations, they help me to fully appreciate the songs….TRA LE ONDE, I liked the song but to know what they are conveying in the words are so beautiful and so much of their hearts. I also really loved Bocelli’s intro of the kids…passing the baton to them was so touching and generous of him…..he has two of his own kids who will be part of the future also, Matteo and Virginia with beautiful voices but not IL VOLO! Hi Jocelyn! I have worked with Daniela a long time and I know thing don’t always translate as we think they should. The word “ragazzi” means “boys” and I have heard it used a lot of times when referring to the guys of IL VOLO. Is used to address a group of young men or people in a casual way. Daniela can probably explain better.
I know that I myself call my son and daughter-in-law “kids” and they will both turn 40 soon! ☺️
