The U.S. tour continues at a fast pace with great success among the public who are enthusiastic about the concerts and the high level but also very familiar performance that Il Volo offers.

This beautiful video was posted with these beautiful words:
“Family is so very important when you love them! My mom has gotten up there in age, she turns 81 this year. These are scary times but also precious. You never know how much more time you have left with them. I saw the ad for the Il Volo concert and I didn’t think twice about getting tickets for my mom and my sister so we could all go together! Jacksonville was a bit of a drive from Orlando but well worth it! It was a beautiful concert and we had an amazing time! We will treasure these.”

March 8

The concert was in Hollywood/Davie, Florida at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

This video which summarizes a large part of the concert was published by Tannia Martinez with these beautiful words:
“From the electrifying stage presence to the soul-stirring harmonies, Il Volo’s World Tour 2025 at Seminole Hard Rock Live was pure magic! ✨🎤 Experiencing it from our perspective—the energy, the passion, and the incredible voices—made it a night to remember! Did you feel the goosebumps when they hit those high notes? Let’s relive this breathtaking concert together! 🎶💫”

As for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel venue I won’t suggest any other videos, because that evening our Pat was at the concert and she will give you a report of the evening, her impressions, her photos and videos, so we’re waiting for you Pat!! 🥰

The acclaimed Italian trio Il Volo, composed of tenors Ignazio Boschetto and Piero Barone, and baritone Gianluca Ginoble, arrived on their 2024-2025 world tour at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, before a sold-out audience that enjoyed a two-hour show with a live orchestra. The show, with great vocal display, featured more than 25 songs and classics by the group such as “Grande amore”, as well as some of the most recent tracks from the album Ad Astra, from which “Capolavoro” stands out, presented at the last edition of the Sanremo Song Festival.
The show, which began with the song “Nelle tue mani” from the film “Gladiator”, allowed Il Volo to shine as a trio, singing classics of Italian music (“Torna a Surriento”, “Il mondo”, “La donna è mobile”, “O sole mio”, “Miserere”, “Funiculì, funiculà” and “Libiamo ne’ lieti calici” by Verdi and from the opera Traviata), but also gave them the opportunity to shine individually, performing songs as soloists to highlight the personal tastes of each singer. Ignazio delighted the audience with “Memory”, Gianluca with “The music of the night” and Piero with the arias “E lucevan le stelle” and “No puede ser”. The solos go back to their beginnings, when they performed as soloists on the Italian television show “Ti lascio una canzone” in 2009 and later formed a trio on the show. Eventually, the group signed a contract with Geffen Records (part of the Interscope group) and released their first album in 2010.
The performers, who alternated between English, Italian and Spanish during the evening, jokingly mentioned that their brotherhood bond is almost like a marriage and took the opportunity to have the audience congratulate Ignazio, who recently tied the knot with beauty queen and now Italian-Venezuelan businesswoman Michelle Bertolini. The show also featured two compositions by Ennio Morricone: “Se” from the film “Cinema Paradiso” and “The Ecstasy of Gold” from the film “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” and a tribute to Latin America through the song “El Triste” by José José, which was performed by the trio in 2013 during the tribute to the Mexican singer at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. The concert ended with a powerful interpretation of “Nessun dorma” (Puccini) from the opera Turandot, which received a standing ovation from all those present. The 2024-2025 world tour, with which Il Volo celebrates its 15 years of successful international career, took the performers to Japan and then to their native Italy. After performing in Chicago, New York and Boston, among other cities, and finishing the dates in North America, the tour will continue through South America and the rest of Europe.

March 10

The concert was in Clearwater, Florida, at Ruth Eckerd Hall.
This summary video is very nice and the words that accompany it are very beautiful.
“Last night, we had the absolute pleasure of witnessing IL Volo live at Ruth Eckerd Hall, and what an unforgettable experience it was! From the moment Gianluca Ginoble, Piero Barone, and Ignazio Boschetto took the stage, their presence was electrifying. Their voices, blending seamlessly in perfect harmony, filled the venue with such richness and emotion that it was impossible not to be swept away.
IL Volo has an incredible ability to transport audiences with their soaring vocals and passionate performances. Their rendition of classic Italian songs, operatic arias, and contemporary favorites showcased their vocal mastery and deep connection to the music. The energy in the room was palpable, with standing ovations after nearly every song. Their interactions with the audience added warmth and charm, making the concert feel personal and intimate despite the grandeur of their performance. For those who may not know, IL Volo was formed in 2009 when the three young tenors met on the Italian talent show Ti Lascio Una Canzone. From there, they quickly gained international fame, becoming known as one of the most beloved operatic pop groups in the world. Their music blends classical opera with modern melodies, appealing to audiences of all ages. Over the years, they have collaborated with legendary artists, performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, and won multiple awards, solidifying their place in music history. Hearing them live is truly a magical experience. Their ability to convey deep emotion through song, whether it’s the passion of Grande Amore, the nostalgia of O Sole Mio, or the breathtaking power of Nessun Dorma, left the audience in awe. It was a night of pure musical brilliance, a celebration of love, life, and the timeless beauty of Italian music. If you ever get the chance to see IL Volo in concert, don’t hesitate—it’s a night you’ll never forget!”

Il Volo with Cecile.
And so three more concerts have ended, but there are still many more to go, the road is long, next stop Atlanta, Georgia!!
See you soon: Daniela 🤗

  1. I haven’t seen any videos from the US tour so far that show the guys singing the English version of “Capolavoro”. Have they been singing it and no videos have been made or are they not including it in their set list because it didn’t do well on the charts? I would think they would include both versions.

    1. You’re right Eileen, I haven’t heard her sing in English, but I must also confirm that on the U.S. tour I struggle to find videos and even photos, due to the ban on taking them.

  2. Although I haven’t had the fortune to see Il Volo in concert just YouTube and follow on Instagram.
They are amazing and how they can continue to do such a big tour is fantastic. Emotional and harmonise so well. May they continue forever. Love them.🌹❤️

    1. I confirm to you Fenella that they are fantastic, especially live, I hope that soon you too will be able to see them in a live concert.

      1. Thank you. It will be along time before they visit if at all the UK, which is sad, but maybe if they are in Italy I could go. At least I can see them on the fans video and I follow on Instagram.
Thank you for your posts and responding to me.

  3. Thanks for the summary and I’m looking forward to Pat sharing his impressions with us 🙂 From a direct participant, it will definitely be unforgettable!
The guys are great and except for a few moments, it was really hard to tell that Ignazio had health problems. So I wondered if this was perhaps the reason why they postponed their appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show on February 27th? In any case, the new date has been confirmed: tomorrow, March 14st.
You can watch the episode at: https://jenniferhudsonshow.com/episodes/

    1. I was at the Atlanta concert, and I thought he didn’t look well. Also, the stage lighting was just too bright and it looked like dust was fling in the air. But they were wonderful as always.

      1. Pat – I don’t know how to get hold of Daniela but I am certain there are 3 comments supposedly from GianLuca (spelled wrong and he is supposedly saying he would like to get together with this person). He has 4 numbers behind his name and they were sent to 3 different ladies at 09:12
9:23 and 9:13! I’d bet my life a scammer has infiltrated the Flight site’!
Just trying to save someone from pain and suffering!

      2. Sheila, I also think the scammers have found our site. A lot of the comments get filtered out, but a few get through. Where did you see these comments? I don’t understand what your numbers mean. I’ll have a look at the comments and see what I can do.

      3. Sheila, I did search and found those three comments and marked them as spam. Thank you for alerting us!

      4. Thank you Sheila for warning us about the scammers’ comments.
In reality, Pat is the technician who also takes care of eliminating these inconveniences, I only take care of writing the posts.
I have to tell you that these unpleasant people, through our posts, also reach us personally, in fact yesterday my cell phone rang with friend requests, two from Gianluca and two from Piero, obviously fake to which I do not respond, I just delete. It’s funny because my husband hears the ringing of the cell phone and asks me: “Who is it?” and I answer: “The usual Gianluca who wants my friendship” ah ah ah!!

    2. Iva, I also want to read Pat’s impressions and I know she is working on making the post and summarizing everything.
Thanks for the link, in the next publication we will also post the video of Jennifer Hudson show, even if I saw that they only sang one song.
I also hope that Ignazio continues to improve his shape, you can feel that he is better, but he is not yet at his best.

  4. Well, I thought I was somehow at a rock concert in Clearwater on Monday night! A sell-out, 2200 people, and all of them screaming, standing up, clapping–even in the middle of numbers–I mean we were LOUD! It could have been South America–or Italy! And you could tell that the guys were even impressed by our love and appreciation. Of course they were wonderful, as always, and the full orchestra was a treat. We also went to my first soundcheck–fairly short, but Piero was a lot of fun. Well, back to earth now till next time.

    1. Our concert was pretty loud too, Judi! And they didn’t stop anyone from taking photos and video like they did when I saw them in Chicago 8 years ago. I had never been to a soundcheck before but I went this time in Hollywood/Davie. 😀

    2. Wow Judi, I really liked that you said it was like a rock concert, so there was a lot of interaction with the audience and you weren’t held back by security, great, the kids obviously enjoyed it!
I hope your landing on earth was good.

  5. Daniela, thank you for the work you put into this tour and keeping us updated. I appreciate it! and all the contributors.
Dear PAT, I am so happy you got to experience the show AND
    the sound check!

  6. I have been to 3 concerts, they sang Capolavoro but only in Italian. I wish they would have sung a few more from the Ad Astra CD. They were in top form even though Igna was dealing with a cough. Our young men are wonderful performers no matter what. I miss the presence of Barbara Vitali, she was their anchor! 🥲

    1. RoseMarie, I imagined that the program for U.S. would have less of Ad Astra, because you focus more on historical pieces, but I am very pleased to hear that you would have liked to hear more from that CD, I like that a lot too. I think that in Mantua we will hear more pieces from Ad Astra.

  7. I drove down from Charlotte to Atlanta. Ended up sitting in traffic for 2 hours on I85due to an accident. Then GPS sent to the wrong place. Had to turn around to drive to the other side of Atlanta. Was an hour late, but it was wonderful what I got to see. The only thing was the stage lighting was just too much. Too bright for the smaller stage.

    1. Linda I really admire all of you who travel so far to see them and maybe get lost.
I’m glad the concert repaid your effort.

  8. Thank you Daniella, The Concert was Fabulous!
They are perfect in every way and becoming more
dynamic with each performance. Clearwater was closer for me to attend, but got lost so many times. Thanks always, your devoted Florida Fan! Mary G. Dwork

    1. Tony and Gale I’m so glad the concert was fabulous.
      It’s always an unforgettable experience.

  9. I attended the concert at Hard Rock in Davie, Fl where I had the pleasure of meeting Pitter Pat. The concert was awesome but such a feeling of letdown when you leave and realize, hopefully you will be able to see them again next year. Being 82 years old it is getting a little hard to get around but I will be there if they are. That was my third concert. Thanks again ladies for all the photos and comments.

    1. Oh Beverley!! It was SO nice to meet with you! You are so sweet! 🧡 The concert was awesome….the guys never disappoint and there is nothing like hearing them again at a live concert. Very powerful music……….from all three of them and the wonderful orchestra. 👏🏻🎶🎵

    2. Beverley, Pat told me about your lovely meeting and said you are very sweet.
I am so glad you met.

  10. So delighted to read the article learning how well the US Tour is coming along. Only lovely reports and nice words – and some concerts fully sold out. Way to go guys! And I love the set lists for the USA/Canada only missing out of a few songs from their South American repertoire – otherwise a fine mix.

And oh Pat I can hardly wait to hear your personal story – I was thinking of you all day hoping that your concert experience will have been as grand as my Italian ones last summer.

So sad that Ignazio hasn’t been feeling on top of the world suffering from coughing and a cold/flu I suppose, so I commend him for getting so professionally through the performances. Hopefully he’ll be much better soon and for the rest of the tour.

Take care and to all of you going to take part in the upcoming concerts: ENJOY. Love and greetings – Kirsten🇩🇰

    1. Kirsten, where do I get set list for Canada?
Going to Niagara Falls April 4th!
      Thanks for your help!

      1. Sheila, remember that the song list is never exactly the same, there are always variables, in fact even maestro Grani said that they often change the sequence of the songs at the last moment, and as an orchestra they always have to be ready.

      2. Hi Sheila. I have randomly found the set lists on Facebook posted by various fan pages – but always after the shows, never before. So I cannot refer you to any particular place, but it seems to be pretty much the same great blend of a bit of classical tunes, a bit traditional Bel Canto, a few Morricone tunes, a few international/American standards plus a few Ad Astra tracks one of which always seem to be Capolavoro. And then 2-3 soli per singer. But they change a bit from concert to concert, so you can never be sure, what they will actually do the very night.

The difference between the US set lists and the Italian ones seems to be less Ad Astra songs and more Bel Canto tunes, which makes pretty much sense to me, as singing O Solo Mio in Italy wouldn’t really please the local audience in the same way as Italian expats in the US, who may be missing Italy and everything relating to that country, while the local Italians back home may be more happy listening to the Il Volo 2.0 version more contemporary Italian pop songs which have been highly promoted locally the last year. Being from Scandinavia I prefer the US Set list which is a bit more international albeit I would like to exchange some of the Bel Canto tunes with some of the ones from their South American repertoire. But that is a matter of personal taste – no doubt the guys are, however, really great at adapting their set list to the exact kind of audience they are going to perform for. Enjoy your concert!

      3. Kirsten I always love your stories! It amazes me how you can be so far away yet you always have your finger on the pulse of our boys! As each day their concert gets closer, the more excited I get! Have to travel abit but hopefully I won’t see any snowstorms on my way! In Vancouver, the tulips, daffodils and crocus’ are blooming! We have lots of rain, but we need it to keep the forest fires in check!
Now for our boys, I will likely be so excited and in shock when I see them up close and personal, I just can’t imagine seeing them live! Their music carries me away to places I never thought I could imagine! Their schedule is so demanding and never stops! Poor Piero, he doesn’t stop long enough in one spot to fall in love! I posted to Igna he better get off the plane if he wants « bambino’s » and as long as Gianluca (my personal favourite) has a few books to keep him company and out of trouble, I hope he will find his true love -SWOON!!!!
Thanks for hearing me out Kirsten, look for my Canadian review , not sure why we have been ignored on this part of the WORLD TOUR! Hugs from the land of Hope and Glory!

    2. Kirsten, I have started writing my review but it may take me a while. I am such a perfectionist. And then culling through all the photos and videos will take a bit. But I will get it done! 😀

      1. I know where you come from Pat. I am exactly the same way and do likewise always need quite some time to prepare my reviews. So please do take all the time you need – but I look very much forward to reading it. Love Kirsten

    3. Kirsten, I would say that the concerts in U.S. are going very well and I am happy about that.
Ignazio seems to have really improved but his voice avoids the very high notes that he usually tackles.
The setlist was predictable, who knows what they will make us listen to in Mantua!

      1. I concur Daniela. Really sad for Ignazio not being able to give his very best, but he seems smiling and once again fooling around, so trust he is on the right track.

As to the set list for our Mantua concert in May I believe we are in for a surprise… We have no idea as to the guest singers invited, but we know the set list in that respect has to be adjusted to the latter, ie. We haven’t the slightest idea yet. Further, I think that they would like to differ from their 2024 Verona shows as much as possible, so maybe they will use the 4-5 weeks between their return from the US Tour and the Mantua shows to work on a few new songs? Personally I do hope though that they will be singing among others The Sound of Silence and that Gianluca will do The Music of the night. But I guess we shall just have to wait and see. Lots of love – Kirsten

      2. And memory by Ignazio and no puede ser by Piero . And miserere by all 3 of them.

  11. WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I was at Clearwater with a friend who is now an IL VOLO devotee! The guys were in top form and it was amazing. My friend was crying, overwhelmed, by their voices and those handsome guys, I don’t think this will be her last! It was a night of tingles, excitement, electricity flowing right through us! I clapped so hard my hands still were red the next day and I pulled a muscle in my back trying to get this old body up and down to give them their fair due!!🤪🤣 I’ve been kicking myself for not getting us the rehearsal too. The audience clearing loved every minute….you would have to be deaf to not have! The crowd was enthusiastic and loud and their powerful voices were heard over them very well! I believe they were extremely pleased at the response, Gian came out at one point after a particularly loud cheering to say that this was oxygen for them! They’re actually oxygen for us too because they totally leave us breathless!
It was a pleasure to finally meet Judi Edwards and her sister, we all had an amazing time. It’s a let down when get home and realize it’s all over for at least another year or more, they did promise to be back again soon!
Pat I’m so pleased you were able to see them in Hard Rock! Thank you to you and Daniela for the great article…. Took lots of photos and videos (they need some editing)! I just don’t know how to get them to you!🤔
    💖💖💖🎼🎤❤️😘🤗🙏☮️👏👏👏👏Carol

    1. Fantastic! I just saw them on Jennifer Hudson show thanks to Cindi. Her show does not come on until 1 am ! Do you know I’ll be watching them! Love Il volo❤️❤️

    2. It was a truly thrilling night Carol and I am so happy for you and your friend, a new fan!
What a joy to read that the crowd was thrilled.
Now you are suffering from the post concert crisis, you are not the only one who tells me that!!

  12. Iva, thanks for the information about Il Volo on the Jennifer Hudson show!
Here in Hawaii it was on at10am,so I just finished watching it. Yes, Ignazio did seem to have a cold, but still did a great job.

    1. I saw them being sung to by Jennifer’s people and they sang that’s amore to Il volo. Saw it on YouTube and facebook. It shows Gianluca at Chicago bulls and nets basketball game last night . Tonight they sing in Chicago . Love Il volo . I won’t see them until 1 am on Jennifer’s show. I’m in Pittsburgh

    2. Jill, I’m so glad to hear from you, I know you always read us, I hope you’re well, write to us every now and then. Hugs!

  13. So happy they are back in the US. I’ve got my tickets and am so excited, I can hardly wait. I have loved IL Volo for the past 15 years, they are AMAZING!
