Encuentro En Aguas published these words that I translate for you:
🎼✨ Il Volo dazzled for the first time in Aguascalientes in an unforgettable night at the Forum de las Stars 🇮🇹🎶
Aguascalientes, May 3, 2025. — A truly magical night was experienced this Saturday at the Mazda Stars Forum, with the eagerly awaited and exciting presentation of the Italian trio Il Volo, who for the first time have set foot on hydrocalic lands as part of their international tour. The concert was part of the San Marco National Fair 2025 and managed to bring together thousands of local, national and international fans who cheered each performance with deep emotion 👏🌍❤️.
🎻 A musical tribute to life, culture and hope accompanied by the extraordinary Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of maestro Ildefonso Cedillo Blanco, Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio offered a symphonic concert that spanned classical opera, Latin boleros and Italian and Mexican folk music. Their vocal virtuosity and charisma captivated the audience from the first moment 🎤 🎻🇲🇽.
One of the most touching moments was when, in a gesture of global sensitivity, they asked for a prayer for the recently deceased Pope Francis, inviting the audience to turn on their cell phone lights and sing together “Hallelujah”, also dedicated to those facing illness or loss. The entire forum lit up in a profound and respectful tribute 🕯️📱💫.
🎙️ Between Mexico and Italy, a bridge of love
During their performance, Il Volo expressed their love for Mexico:
“This country was one of the first to open its doors to us… We are united by the colors of the flag, the hearts of the people, and of course the food! Italians love tacos and Mexicans love pasta. “
🇲🇽🇮🇹 🍝🌮
As a sign of affection, they offered a medley of Mexican music that included jewels of the traditional repertoire, once again earning a standing ovation from the audience.
🌍 The world awaits their tour!
Although no dates have been revealed yet, the trio anticipated that they will officially announce their world tour very soon, news that was celebrated with enthusiasm by their followers, who did not hide their excitement to return to experience magical nights like this Saturday ✨🗓️ 🛫.
🙏 Special thanks
From #EEANews, we appreciate the Government of the State of Aguascalientes, the Patronato de la Feria Nacional de San Marcos and RP Espectáculos for continuing to promote such international shows, keeping alive the essence of the “Feria de Ferias”, the incomparable Feria Nacional de San Marcos 🎡🌟🇲🇽.
This article published by EL SOL DEL CENTRO is also nice.
An unforgettable concert at the Fair! Il Volo filled the Forum delle Stelle with emotion, talent and symphonic music.
One of the most special moments of the evening was when they sang “Hallelujah” for the death of Pope Francis and for all those who suffer from any disease.
Il Volo lit up the night of Aguascalientes with the voice, soul and symphonic elegance of Karla Barba / El Sol del Centro/
The spectators at the Foro de las Estrellas of the Feria Nacional de San Marcos lived a truly special symphonic musical experience, led by the Italian trio Il Volo, which unleashed the emotions of local and foreign fans who attended this majestic concert.
After performing classic opera lyrics and boleros sung by fans, and after almost an hour of performance, they asked for a prayer for the recent death of Pope Francis, a pain deeply felt in Italy and around the world; They invited those present to turn on their cell phone lights and sing “Hallelujah”, dedicating the song also to those who are facing an illness, something that was understood by the audience who gave them a standing ovation.
Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio thanked and thanked the members of the Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra, which had Ildefonso Cedillo Blanco as guest conductor, and were also applauded by the audience.
Without a doubt, the encounter that Il Volo gave to its audience from Aguascalientes and different parts of the country and even the world was an unprecedented experience at the San Marcos National Fair, especially for lovers of classical and popular music, since they were able to enjoy the talent of this group that once again proved how to interpret different musical genres, but this time with a magnificent Orchestra like the Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra.
“Mexico is one of the first countries to support us… we are united by the colors of the flag, and we Italians also love Mexican food and Mexicans love Italian food,” they said, before immediately performing a medley of Mexican music as a tribute.
This evening will be unforgettable for all those who attended the magnificent show that Il Volo staged in collaboration with the OSA.
Really so much enthusiasm, so much joy, so much affection!! 🥰
It was the first time for Il Volo in this part of Mexico and I must say that from the enthusiasm of the people it is clear that the beautiful music, the beautiful voices, the bel canto are appreciated everywhere.
Truly a “hard work” for Ignazio, Piero and Gianluca who will be the day after the concert will already be on their way back to Italy, but certainly for them it was a great satisfaction, perhaps a great recharge of the batteries in anticipation of Mantua!!!
See you soon: Daniela 🤗

    2. Thanks to you for reading and enjoying, Eileen. Yes there was a lot of fun for everyone!

    1. Yes RoseMarie, the Mexican welcome is truly engaging, an emotional recharge for our guys!

  3. Thank you for this wonderful coverage of the concert in Mexico. Il Volo was treated with sure love and generosity which they returned to the audience. I always wonder why we did not see Ignazio at the airport, and he did not sing a solo. I hope and pray that he is ok. ❤️

    1. Yes thank you for sharing Il volo with us! Love them forever !
      Fantastic concert!

    2. Gin, actually Ignazio was at the airport, you can see it very well in the arrival video. Unfortunately I have to rely on the published videos but I assure you that I saw some with Ignazio watching the Mexican dancers.

  4. Thank you for this report, the photos are lovely. Piero has the most amazing smile in the first photo and was really kind to go over to the dancers.
It’s lovely that Mexico took Il Volo to their hearts.
They sang so many songs in Spanish, the music is stunning.
Love following and seeing there concerts on line.
    Lots of good wishes
    Fenella x

    1. Fenella, I also loved seeing the Mexican welcome and love reserved for our guys, they deserve all this!

  5. What a lovely gift to arrange for Mariachis and women in their beautiful dresses to greet them! What a wonderful welcome after such a long flight.

It’s true, watching this concert gives joy to those who see it, it’s too beautiful to see and feel this loving warmth that envelops you and I believe that our guys will have appreciated it a lot too.

  7. Thank you for the great article, videos and pictures.. I loved how they sang with the mariachi and the beautiful dressed women.
Love you and everyone involved with ilvoloflightcrw. Thank you
    Linda-Pittsburgh ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Everything you wrote in your always beautiful words Luz, it’s true, I agree with everything.
Even though journalists are keen to highlight that there are irreconcilable differences between them, everything that Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio do, their attitudes, cannot hide the great brotherly affection that unites them, therefore what is written by journalists who are often in bad faith are just words that have no foundation.
They are three very good artists, our Ignazio, Gianluca and Piero, but they are also three beautiful people and we fans like this very much.

  9. Thank you very much for this beautiful article and all the articles and posts. Your work is invaluable Daniela and Pat. Fans love Il Volo all over the world, that’s wonderful. I’m getting ready for Mantova and I’m so excited, can’t wait. So thanks again fo your hard and see you in Palazzo Te I hope.

    1. Nice to hear from you Jolanta. My husband and I are right this moment packing our car and tomorrow morning at 06:00 AM we shall hit the freeways heading towards Mantua. A long trip of some 1500 km in the car – but we don’t mind and we shall take a brief hotel overnight in Germany enroute. I wish you a safe and good trip to Mantua as well – and I look forward to seeing you Saturday evening at the concert venue. Take care and hugs – Kirsten

      2. I also wish you good and safe trip. You have a very long journey ahead of you. We have a flight to Bergamo at 5.45 a.m. on Friday. This time I have tickets for Saturday and Sunday. I’m sa excited. So see you in Mantova. Non vedo l’ora. Hugs😘

    2. Jolanta it will be a pleasure to see you again in Mantua and it should be sunny on Saturday (thank goodness).
      See you very soon!! 🥰

      Thanks for your nice compliments.

  10. Another welcomed report of photos, videos, and reviews on the travels and concert of IL Volo. I agree with what others have already stated in their comments: How nice to be greeted at the airport with all the elements of Mexican culture, colorful dress, mariachi band, singing and dancing. Just have to give the guys, lots of credit for “jetting” back and forth across continents to share their talent and entertain.
    Viva la musica!

    1. It must have been stressful to fly to Mexico for just one concert, Barb, especially during the preparation period for Mantua, but I think the warm welcome gave our boys a lot of satisfaction.

  11. Thanks again for another fine up-date on our guys. So good to see that they were so well received by the Mexican people and audience and, apparently, they have had yet a splendid concert :-). I love that they adapt usically to the local environment of their audiences – and, hence, the repertorie at this concert has been more lively and including several local Mexican / South Amerian songs as well as well as performed primarily in the Spanish and Italian languages. So well done!

Only, I wish that they would likewise perform some of the lovely South American tunes at concerts here in Europe. I love the songs on their now 2 year old South American EP, and would really enjoy hearing them performed live. Their voices are so well fit for singing in Spanish and the lively dancing rythms make for a hppy and festive ambiance. Let’s hope that one day they will understand that we in Europe would love to hear them as well.

The very fine articles and reports from the concert are wonderful proof that the guys are truly loved and appreciated not only by the Mexican audiences but also the Mexican music critics etc. So I guess the endurance of the very long air trip to/from has been worth the while. Now I do only hope that they have had the chance for a few good nights’ sleep and the jet-lag has vanished so that they are once again on top of their game ready to deal with the 3 upcoming concerts in Mantua. I cannot believe that the first one is already taking place tomorrow night… I wish them “break a leg” at these concerts and can hardly wait till Saturday when my husband and I shall be in the audience :-). We shall be leaving Denmark very, very early tomorrow morning and commence our 1500 km drive to Italy.

I look forward to saying hello to those of you attending the concert Saturday evening. Warmest regards – Kirsten, Denmark

    1. Yes have a great time and be careful. I love when they sing in any language. Their Spanish is beautiful and also when they sang with the mariachi. Love them and much success in 2025 .❤️🙏❤️
      Linda -Pittsburgh

    2. Kristen I also believe that the effort and tiredness of our guys was rewarded by the welcome and affection reserved for them.
I also love hearing Il Volo sing in Spanish especially certain songs that I find beautiful but that they reserve only for certain occasions.
We are in contact so I know that you are traveling and at this moment you have already entered Italy, I wish you and Steen a peaceful trip and tomorrow we will see each other in Mantua, I can’t wait to meet you and Steen and also say hello to all the other friends from all over the world. It will be sunny on Saturday!!
      See you very soon 🥰

  12. It takes many years to develop a loving relationship. In the case of the Mexican audiences, it was “love at first sight “‘
Anyone remember the backyard birthday cake the fans made
For Ignazio’s 18th (?) birthday? The guys were accepted as part of the family. They must feel like they are going to visit their relatives! I loved the Mariachi reception at the airport that the fans organized.
As always, thank you Daniela & Pat.

    1. It’s true Martha, I really believe that Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca have entered the hearts of the Mexicans.
This time the concert was in a place where Il Volo had never been and it was a great success!! I’m so happy for them and for the fans who cheered for them.
