The second concert “UNO PER TUTTI” by Il Volo, broadcast on Canale 5, has also aired, and it was another wonderful evening.
There were moments I particularly enjoyed, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise; I’ll comment on them as they come up.
I must thank Ina and Katharina for sharing this video with me. It includes subtitles, so you’ll be able to understand everything that’s being said; therefore, I’ll simply provide the song titles and my own impressions.
It all begins backstage, where the guys wonder if they’re ready. Ignazio insists that he is completely prepared and knows everything; to prove it, he starts rattling off the origins of Palazzo Te, who commissioned it, and then lists the various guests. Piero and Gianluca compliment him and head out onto the stage, while Ignazio thanks the man who had been holding up the sign containing all the information he just recited! 😂
The concert begins with an orchestral performance of “Live and Let Die,” then Ignazio, Piero, and Gianluca make their entrance, greeting the audience present as well as the viewers watching on Canale 5.
They kick things off immediately with a showstopper: “Nessun Dorma.”
The first guest enters: Loredana Bertè, an Italian rock singer. She is 78 years old, greatly admires our guys, and her songs have stood the test of time.
Together, they perform IL MARE D’INVERNO, followed by E LA LUNA BUSSÒ and finally SEI BELLISSIMO.
Finally, Loredana Bertè sings a song of hers from the present day, SONO PAZZA DI ME.
Noemi enters, a talented Italian singer who will serve as co-host for the evening.
This is followed by a beautiful solo from Ignazio: the lovely Lucio Battisti song, IO VIVRÒ (SENZA TE).
Next comes a lovely duet by Gianluca and Piero, performing a song by Cocciante: ERA GIÀ TUTTO PREVISTO.
Immediately after a lovely Neapolitan song, sung as a duet by Piero and Ignazio: CU’MME.
A truly special moment: the children’s choir from Chiari joins Il Volo and Noemi to sing Michael Jackson’s HEAL THE WORLD. It is a beautiful and moving moment, especially considering the message it conveys at a time when the world is so shaken by wars and tragic events. ❤️
After this beautiful, touching moment, it’s time for another guest, Emma, who, in a duet with Ignazio, performs a lovely Neapolitan song: O MARE E TU.
Then comes the operatic moment: a highly talented soprano, Ekaterina Bakanova, enters and, together with Il Volo, performs LIBIAM DE LIETI CALICI.
Another guest, Madame, performs a duet with Gianluca, the beautiful song by Gino Paoli: SENZA FINE.
A lovely solo by Piero, who sings this Neapolitan song: I’ TE VURRIA VASÀ for the first time.
Another wonderful solo, this time, a famous English song by Paul McCartney, sung by Ignazio: LIVE AND LET DIE.
What about the next song? I love this piece by Chaplin, the beautiful SMILE, sung masterfully by Il Volo!
Once again, Il Volo performs another beautiful song by Umberto Bindi: IL MIO MONDO.
This time, it’s time for a lovely duet between Ignazio and Noemi, featuring Noemi’s song: L’AMORE SI ODIA.
Another duet, this time featuring Piero with Malika Ayane, presents CUCCURUCUCU PALOMA in Spanish. (This duet took place on the evening I was in Mantua.)
Another guest, Michele Bravi, who won a season of *X Factor*, joins the stage; together with Gianluca, they perform the beautiful song by Samuele Bersani, GIUDIZI UNIVERSALI.
(This duet was also part of the concert that I attended.)
Another guest is Nek, whom we have often seen before alongside Il Volo. Together with Ignazio, they let loose on a song by Nek: SE IO NON AVESSI TE.
A very sweet song by Morricone, our guys perform the beautiful NELLA FANTASIA.
After a charming little interlude featuring our guys in their jackets, we return to a duet, this time, Piero and Nina Zilli deliver a magnificent performance of a song by Mina: MI SEI SCOPPIATO DENTRO AL CUORE.
Yet another duet, what can one say? This performance by Gianluca and Ignazio of the beautiful song by Battisti is fantastic: IO VORREI…NON VORREI…MA SEI VUOI.
Back at the opera, Piero introduces the next aria, which he then performs with great feeling: UNA FURTIVA LAGRIMA.
This solo by Gianluca on the Beatles song ACROSS THE UNIVERSE is wonderful.
Il Volo, once again reunited, performs the beautiful song by Sergio Endrigo, CANZONE PER TE.
Next up is the hit that propelled Il Volo to major success: GRANDE AMORE.
We have reached a truly touching moment: the song that Ignazio wrote for the birth of his son, Gabriele.
I must say, it was incredible to hear Ignazio’s beautiful lyrics. I’d like to thank the Mediaset crew for capturing so many wonderful moments, little Gabriele in his mother Michele’s arms, both of them in the audience listening and applauding Ignazio. Huge compliments to the crew for the excellent editing, and to Ignazio for such a beautiful song: CIAO PICCOLO MIO ❤️💙❤️
Another solo: Gianluca presents the beautiful RITORNERAI by Bruno Lauzi.
A touching moment: Ignazio accompanies Noemi’s beautiful words on the guitar, all as a lead-in to the wonderful song DON’T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA, performed by Il Volo.
We’re in the final stretch; the guys say goodbye to Noemi and thank the audience, who always follow them with such affection. The final song is OPERA.
What can I say? As always, I’m left speechless: a fast-paced rhythm, great songs, a choir, an orchestra, touching moments, and truly beautiful performances, another success, accompanied by excellent television ratings.
In the days that followed, many online articles praised the show; however, as is often the case, the national press was far more critical, though they did acknowledge the talent of our guys.
In this regard, I’d like to share this piece published by LIBERO.IT, which captures the moment involving Ignazio and Gabriele.
Ignazio and Gabriele, rating: 10.
While the second installment of *Il Volo, Uno per Tutti* offered the audience many high-quality moments, featuring powerful performances and great masterpieces of both Italian and international music, the highlight that brought a wave of tenderness to the viewers arrived toward the end of the evening. Ignazio Boschetto took center stage to dedicate a sweet, poignant song to his young son, Gabriele, born in September 2025 to the tenor and his wife, Michelle Bertolini. What made the moment truly moving, however, was what happened immediately afterward: as the music gradually faded and Ignazio blew a kiss toward his son in the audience, the cameras captured little Gabriele, held by his mother, who was clearly touched by the scene, turning to her and asking, “Is that Daddy?” It was an incredibly sweet moment, captured by the Canale 5 cameras, which quickly became the most talked-about highlight of the entire evening on social media.
