Hi Everyone,

1)Everyone is still talking about Il Volo’s appearance on the Talk yesterday. Everyone agrees they were spectacular!! To watch again go to Mundial Facebook to see the video. You can go to ilvolotumblr to see some very handsome individual closeups of all the Guys.

2) A reminder Il Volo will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight at 11:30pm on NBC. It is a repeat performance, but worth seeing again.

3) Check out Piero’s Twitter page for a picture of his water park ride with his sister. There is also a keek of their performance of “Surrender” as guests of The Pooh.

4) Take a look at Gianluca’s Twitter page to see his adorable Keek of “swinging”, of course there are also some of his great pictures.

5) Ignazio has not tweeted much, but there is a picture of him with one of his friends on Mundial.

6) They have such a good time being home with families and friends it will be hard to tear themselves away to start their tour.

  4. I am ecstatic I just received the CD of Il volo at Filmore Theatre Miami & already listened to it & cried all the way through it until the second last song. There voices are magnificent, even the banter, SSooo looking forward to the concert, no use wearing makeup I’ll be rubbing it off. Someone said a while back perhaps on the other site we had that she wasn’t going to wear eye makeup, good idea.

    Still beat you to HIM Marie. If I knew what airport they were flying into I would love to meet them at the airport. What a time that would be.

  5. Are you two kidding? they’ll keep that airport arrival top secret in case two crazy ladies show up. Remember the bail is only good for Detroit. Keep yourselves under control until then!

  6. They might be coming in on their bus. Loretta, maybe we should watch for it, behind the theatre earlier in the day! We need to plan an attack!

That is an excellent idea Marie, I rmember the first time at Roy Thomson Hall at lot of people were hanging around outside the theatre before the doors opened & their bus came by, we didn’t know it was them but we guessed, & it went around to the back & last year Steve & I saw Gianluca outside the bus talking to some people & we called him & he came over to the my van. We could do the same. Maybe we could an extra hug from anyone. I’m game if you are.

  10. Back off you two, no plotting and planning. Get inside before you make fools of yourselves, there might be others doing it too so you you won’t stand out so much.

  11. Of course! Since we’re there the day before, it will be a cinch. However, if we’re going to, probably, be arrested, I prefer it happens after the concert. Humm, we may have to re-plan.

  12. Hello Loretta and Marie! I am glad to see you here! Marie – I am so happy you will be greeting the guys instead of attacking! Someone mentioned security a few pages/days ago and asked you two to be careful in Detroit. I hope you listen to that suggestion! I also worry about security for the guys; it’s definitely needed in some of the cities in the USA and Latin America where they will perform.

    Management – please tell us you have Piero, Gianluca and Ignazio adequately protected – in every location! Thank you!

  14. Marie and Loretta. You don’t need a elaborate plan. You should just stick around before and/or after the concert. Look for the crowd and ask people or security that work there for the exact entrance for our guys. Put up a pitiful face. If that doesn’t work then scream and shout to get attention and until our guys can hear you. Our guys are very nice to their fans. They will come out and greet you. I’ve been there, remember, at the back gate of Fillmore Theatre.

    2. Elaine – they may have been more willing to treat the crowd at the Fillmore – as it was only 2 nights. They are doing — how many concerts in 2 months in the USA and Latin America? They may not be so available after as there are Meet and Greets – but how do I know! Just saying!

  16. Elaine, don’t encourage them, they’re bad enough. Don’t forget I’m the one who has to come up with the bail when they get arrested for starting a riot!

  20. Linda, I am not encouraging them and you can forget about putting up any bail money. I know as soon as they see our guys, they will be on their knees and won’t be able to move much. Their heart will melt as they see and hear our guy’s faces and voices. There will be no more strength left. I can imagine how silly the two will look. Hey, I should know, I was told by my daughter about that look on my face before! (Ahhh, sweet Gianluca!).

    I think Marie we are going to have to act like ladies. Mary is already a lady so maybe she can give us pointers. Or we will send her up to Ignazio & tell him there are 2 beautiful ladies (can’t say that neither one us going to have make up on after the concert from crying so hard).
    Well we could give a try anyway. Mary wants a hug from Piero.

    2. Loretta – please watch the DVDs every day and cry your eyes out BEFORE the concert! Please don’t cry at the concert – you will miss it! “Pull yourself together Elmo” the cutest line from Sesame Street!

  24. Loretta, no I just play along and waited with the crowd. Screaming is the last alternative. And you probably should save your voice so that you can talk to our guys. As Marie said, practice the pitiful face. If you act like lady, then they may ask you be a lady and leave. So, no don’t do that!

  26. Oh I have another suggestion how about hiding under the bus & letting them know we are there before the show. Gianluca was outside the bus in Toronto before the show last year talking to some people. Good idea? or pretending we are lost & don’t know who Il volo is.

  27. Just be ladies! Don’t get the “vapors” Do they still have smelling salts on the market? Mary will act like a lady, Loretta will be screaming and you’ll have to pick up Marie with a blotter! I hope someone gets pictures of you 3 and posts them on utube.

  28. I don’t know if I could put on a pitiful face I could put on a lost face, would that work/? & then pretend I have to sit down & hopefully be taken into the bus. You two girls Mary & Marie could pretend to be concerned for poor me.

  38. Good evening ladies – you are all such a treat after a long hard day at work. I get such a kick when reading your comments.

    Linda S – Are you sure you have enough money for bail? From the sound of it, it seems that they are going to get into an awful lot of trouble. The bail could be steep. If you need help, let us know and maybe everyone on this site can pool our money together.

    Maybe Mary B (who is going to be there, too) can keep them in check. That may be too much responsibility though. Just hope she doesn’t get arrested, too!

  39. This holiday was the best thing for them. We know they will be coming back to L.A. over and over again as their base of operations these days. We also know that means the infiltration of the “Hollywood” way of doing things – some good and some very bad. Everytime they go home to Italy it is my hope that helps keep their senses in tact. A recent picture from Gianluca showing the whole family (which is rare from him) was absolutely beautiful. The picture of him and his mother dressed up for photos was nothing less than stunning ! Those two are so beautiful ! Also, the picture of three generations – grandfather, father and son – hmmmmmm that was good and gave me tears.

  40. A lot of them are Gianluca (of course I know my boo…). I haven’t gotten the DVD yet, so I’m guessing that’s why I don’t know all the answers…

      I also remember a time in some interview when Piero was talking about how much he likes walking around in the hotel naked, and Gianluca was sitting there looking like he’d like to drop through the floor. He was totally embarrassed! No other word for it.
      I can’t wait for the reports of the concert from the concert goers! I still haven’t gotten my dvd yet. Oooooooooooooh. Waiting is SO hard!

  45. I thought Ignazio’s grandfather didn’t have anything to do with him singing, he started on his own & would go around singing & playing his drums. And I know for a fact Ignazio doesn’t have your name tattoed over his heart because he has mine.No. 14 Belinda??? with Gianluca,
    also Gianluca grandfather didn’t sing opera, did he??

  46. Linda P. It happened on that show where they threw darts and answered questions. Can’t think if the kitchy name. The question was “what was your most embarrassing moment?”. Ignazio talked about telling a friend he didn’t like someone who ended up being the persons cousin. Piero disclosed being naked in his room with the curtains open. Gianluca said he has never had one.

  47. Loretta, They all admitted early on that their grandfather’s started them. Yep, all grandfathers sang opera.

    Your right, Belinda was his most embarrassing moment. It must have slipped his mind.
