Twitter, Tweets and Keeks…..
Piero tweeted yesterday ” Getting ready for the UNICEF Ball, proud to support a great cause”.
He tweeted later that night “Kisses from #Toronto.”
Gianluca tweeted last night “You are so right for what’s wrong in my liiife!”
He tweeted later in the night “Already in my bedroom in Toronto, going to sleep..super super tired!”
It must have been a great honor for Il Volo to be the Featured Performers at last night’s Audrey’s Ball. The Charity event is given in honor of Audrey Hepburn, the beloved Screen Actress. Miss Hepburn toured all over the world for many years before her death to bring attention to the plight of starving children throughout the World.
Check Team Il volo for 2 interesting articles “For Il Volo’s Gianluca Ginoble, everything is beautiful” in the National Post.
See also the article “Review of Il Volo at the Saroyon Theatre” by Fresno Beehive.See Mundial for some very nice videos of performances from several concerts. They also have some nice photos.
Read the amazing stories of the adventures of our Flight Crew at the concerts they attended. Look on the left side of our page for the link to experiences. Enjoy too, the nice photos sent in by the “Crew”, with promises of more to come.
Thank you all for your Birthday wishes, I appreciate them very much!!!!
Love and Luck, Il Volo, for tonight’s performance!!
Linda
Hope you had a wonderful birthday and that you celebrate for a week! That’s what I do.
Good Idea, Ann, I may try that! 🙂
Well worth searching for Audrey Hepburn IL VOLO.
First, Flight Crew has the most represented links!
Second, Houston Culture Map spoke well of IL VOLO: “The evening wasn’t all reserved gaiety though. After all, it is Houston, and when the operatic boy band Il Volo wowed the gala-goers with their three-song set, the well-heeled crowd rewarded them with cheers and a standing ovation. Before hopping a plane to Toronto, the teen trio went off script in a cute mix of English and Italian.”
And yes IL VOLO is not an “operatic boy band”. Granted, they find it difficult to express the unique flavor of IL VOLO in 3 words or less!
Third, it’s fun to see who else was performing at this prestigious and respected event with IL VOLO, the headline performers!
Finally, I think you’ll enjoy your search for
Audrey Hepburn: Painfully Beautiful by Il Volo
Thank you, Flight Crew, for your wonderful research and reporting, whether about this special event or about the musical history of the theaters. You do an admirable and delightful job!

Thanks for suggesting we search for the Audre Hepburn: Painfully Beautiful by il Volo video. Their voices were wonderful. They are beautiful Boys.
Oh, my!
I just read the Sundial review
“Italian tenor group lights up the Gibson Amphitheater”
posted by Team IL Volo.
Yes! This reviewer actually “gets” IL VOLO.
If you read only one line, skip to the finishing sentence. You’ll love it!
Truly, I’m dying to quote it, but you go to the article and enjoy!
Thank you, Sundial and Team IL VOLO!!

Again, Jeanine,
Thanks! What a wonderful review in the Sundial. I agree, the reviewer get il Volo.
Glad you enjoyed Painfully Beautiful and the Sundial review, Jeanie!
I have a feeling this Unicef (Audrey Hepburn) gala charity event is going to open up more doors for Our Boys, get the word out about what incredible singers, performers, sweethearts they are! If I understood correctly, the event raised $650,000, so we can just guess who all were in the audience.
Another song I like from days of yore is This Time. Actually, I love all the songs from their first album, too! (; >)
All smiles,

Jeanine,
I think the Boys are becoming more well known all the time. Just look at the crowds that they draw at their Concerts. Yes, I think that more and more Doors will be opening for them. I can only imagine who all attended the Unicef (Audrey Hepburn) gala charity event. You know they were the very Elite to support that event.
Linda, sorry I’m late with birthday wishes…just got back to my computer last night and worn out from all the fun, laughter and companionship of the Detroit adventure…but I do hope your birthday was wonderful from one Virgo to another.
