  1. Does anyone of you identify with me when you go to a concert? over the past 3 years, I have come to regard them as my family. seeing them every day, listening to their music every day, following their tweets and keeks and every word they put out on the internet everyday. they have actually become more of my life than my family because I am with them more. but the hard part is when at their concert, you are a stranger to them. you know them, but they do not know you, so many faces in the audience. it makes me sad that at home I am so close to them that I know them, but at a concert I am a stranger.
I am also VERY sensitive when they are criticized or any thing is said I don’t like. you can criticize me, but don’t criticize my boys, that get’s my blood boiling.

    1. Yep. I know exactly what you mean. We spend so much time following them here ( 😉 ), Team Il Volo, Mudial and every other social media. We listen to their music almost exclusively…it’s easy to feel close to them and feel like we know them, so going to a concert and being reminded that we don’t is kind of hard. 🙂

Your picture has been added to your Orlando post! It’s very sweet, guys! Go check it out. 🙂

      1. Oh my gosh Deanne, I feel exactly the same. I see them more than my grandchildren. And yes they are part of my family, but they don’t.know it. They make my life more worthwhile.

      2. Deanne and Kyalpn, I share your feelings completely. It’s strange the way we feel so close to them, and yet have to realize that they don’t know us personally, but I do think that they sincerely feel close to their fans, so maybe we can claim a little of that. We have a special relationship with them in our hearts, even if they don’t know it, but we know it and maybe that’s enough.

    2. Great picture of you and Ignazio, Deanne. I was only a couple of rows behind you and saw when he stopped to take the picture with you. Of course, I didn’t know it was you at the time.

  2. Deanne, Unfortunately I have to agree also. I feel connected to them here, but if I’m at a concert or if I never get a reply, if asked for, I feel so down. I do realize though, that they don’t have the time to respond to everyone who asks, but just once would let me know that they have received my tweets. Do they or don’t they. They do work tremendously hard though, and obviously that’s what dreams are made of. Actually, If I ever do have a face to face encounter, I would probably faint; but I bet they would remember me! Ha Ha!

  3. Oh, I forgot! Check out very cute video on behalf of Ilvolo, from a teenage fan. Go to you tube & in search bar- type in ilvoloconcerts2013.

    Very surprised! Made me smile!

  4. Yes Deanne, I feel the same way! Our Boys are a big part of my life and a day without them feels like something very essential is missing. And you’re right – I see them more than my grandchildren too!! And I love them just as much!

  5. I have to agree with everything that has been said on this site. None of my family understands the feelings I have for these young Italian singers. Happily, I have all of you that understand and even have the same feelings that I have. And yes, a day without Piero, Ignazio, and Gianluca is like a day without sunshine!
