Il Volo is in Los Angeles and making the rounds!! TV and live appearances are happening!! We watch carefully for dates and times, so stay tuned for the news!! Events will be listed on the right hand side of the home page and we’ll be listing them here in this feature, as we get them.

Piero, “Having fun in LA” with pictures of him with an Astin Martin and a Rolls Royce. We all know how fond Piero is of CARS, he loves them!! Piero then tweeted “Cristmas is close..family is close #happiness.”
Ignazio, “hey hey how’s it going ilvolovers?” He also tweeted that he was about to see the new motion picture “Thor“. Today he tweeted, “Hey don’t miss GDLA, see ya in a few”
The first showing of Home and Family Christmas Special is Nov 25 at 8 pm on the Hallmark Channel. Check your local listings for any reruns.
The Boys announced this morning on GDLA that they were going home on December 10th, they looked very excited about that!! We’re glad they will finally get to see their families and friends and be home for Christmas!

Thank you, Linda for that clip. Piero almost makes my heart stop when he sings the high notes of “Oh Holy Night”. Can’t say enough good things abut Piero, Ignazio, and Gianluca! And I’m finally going to see and hear them in person at the Mall of America on Black Friday! Yay!!!!
Yippie! Allene is going to join maryjane and me at the Mall of America. We will try to put forward a solid fan front representing the Flight Crew!

You’re right about Piero in “Oh Holy Night” It took my breath away. I think it took the breath away from the two anchors on Good Day LA!!

thanks for the link Linda. it was so lovely to hear them singing “O Holy Night” and they sang it so well. they are so charming, and their accents and the way they form their English makes them more lovable than ever. I hope they never lose those accents. it would not come over the same if they spoke perfect English. I am crossing my fingers that they WILL get home on 10th dec. and that somebody doesn’t find something else to stop them. I don’t know if I trust their promoters too much.
I so agree, Deanne, about the accents. I hope they never lose them. Their adorable accents make me smile every time, and yes, make them even more endearing.
forgot to mention Ignazio is looking great with his new hairstyle, thank God. I prayed when he said he was going to Soony for a hair cut. I am noticing that Gianluca’s hair is lookin so gorgeous now, he has just a little curl in the back which I love. Please Gianluca, don’t visit Soony!!

Thanks Jeanine, If reality comes anywhere near our expectations, we will have a rockin’ good time in spite of the crowds of “fabulous Friday.” The idea of seeing the boys in person, right across the table, is exciting, and having the treat of being with maryjane and Allene, too, just adds to the fun. You will get a report. As to Marie’s request, I will do my best, but think security will be staying very close.
Jeanine, I think the PBS special in the twin cities will be early December, too. There is nothing in the November magazine showing it.

We’ve got several showings of Streisand (with IL VOLO, Chris Botti, Jason Gould – IL VOLO mentioned first!). I’m realizing that Streisand’s PBS Special is likely to bring in many, many new IL VOLO fans who may be exposed to our incredible guys for the first time. Truly, they have arrived!
Watching and listening to O Holy Night several times today, I am so completely touched by Ignazio’s deep presence with the meaning of the song and later with Piero’s power house of majesty. I appreciate Gianluca’s quietly expressing their intent in sharing their music. They all touch my heart so much!

Kelly & Marie got the Playlist figured out I keep my finger on the mouse & slide it over to the menu & then I can choose what I want to see. Clever if I do say so myself
Now I need a genius to help me with my computer programs & emails
Is there someone on this site who knows computers & would be able to tell me how I can find the program that is downloading & deleting my emails. Outlook is putting them in the POP file. I can give you my phone number or emails address. If someone could help me I would appreciate it.

I’m excited to see the PBS special and so thrilled that my PBS station in New Mexico has scheduled the show to air 5 times, 3 of those in prime time! That’s fabulous for New Mexico and tells me, Il Volo has really arrived. Their hard work, dedication, commitment to their music and endearing personalities have won the day. Ignazio is so slender now, he needs tighter trousers!
