It was suggested a while back that we ask everyone what they would like to see on the
next (please, please, please soon!) album. Since we think that’s what they may be
doing in Miami and L.A. (?) now seems like the time.
Here are my guesses and wishes:
Guess – Caruso (the trio version)
Wish – Il Mare Calmo Della Sera (I will ask for this one every time.)
Guess – Anema E Core (Our Sinatra incarnate, of course)
Wish – The Prayer (the perfect song for Angels)
Guess – No Puede Ser (Piero! Who else even could?)
Wish/Guess – Unchained Melody (You know he wants to!)
New York New York along with the song Andre Bocelli made famous. I can’t think of the name now but it was beautiful and their was also a version with a woman. Diane something can’t think of that either.
Teresa, could that be “The Prayer” you mean? He sang it with Celine Dion and others.

I would love them to include all those magnificent, powerful songs mentioned above. I have been listening to them over and over again.
Any song they sing they make their own in their own unique style and make our hearts soar with delight !! I know that the new CD will be spectacular !! Can’t wait !!

As a group they could sing “Delila” and “My Prayer”
A lot of these song are in English and Italian.

I have a strong feeling that we will be hearing something that they have collaborated in writing themselves; perhaps even hear them playing some of the music, like piano, drums.

Some time ago an article said that they have a big group of songs to choose from and all three of them select the ones they want to sing. Also legally there are matters to deal with due to ‘copyrights’ etc. No matter what is in the album the fans are ready.
Guess: Andrea Bocelli’s Io Ci Saro or Sogno. Gianluca adores him so maybe this will happen

Also I wish that there were more of their concerts put on DVD/CD for us to watch & listen to. I am playing their CD’s over and over again and can’t get enough listening to them. Such beautiful voices and handsome young men.

Everything I have on my “wish list” has been mentioned above. Hearing them do The Lords Prayer” would give me goose bumps for sure! How about Dean Martin’s “That’s Amore” ? I have no idea if that’s the way it’s spelled, or even if it’s the correct title. I would love to hear Gianluca do that one. “No Puedo Ser” by Piero, and “Unchained Melody” by Ignazio.. But truthfully I will love everything the do!

Marie, for Unchained Melody, which I LOVE and definitely agree about Ignazio singing it… with an added touch of Gianluca and Piero singing back-up for Ignazio. I think a little bit of ooohs and ahhhs harmony would send that song soaring and be fun for all of them!
I would love to hear Gianluca singing Have I Told You Lately That I Love You !! We got that little 15-second teaser a while back, and I’m hoping for the whole song! Gianluca knocked it out of the park! (as usual)
And, yes, I’d love some magnificent Italian songs. I was just listening today to Un amore cosi grande and some of the songs from their first album. Ahhhh… 😉

While I would love a bunch of solos, realistically speaking I don’t think it will happen. I actually brought up il mare calmo to Ignazio at the M&G and he shook his head and made a face. So I don’t think that will happen either, even though I would love to hear him sing it solo or all of them together. Whatever they sing I am sure we will love it! And I also hope they do something original!

My Mother was a singer/songwriter in the 50’s. Every Wednesday she would go to the publishers in NYC which was very progressive for a woman back then. She never gave up the hope that one or more of her songs would be published. When I was 11 years old she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Despite it all she plugged along for another ten years sitting at her piano( which I have in my house now) and composing her music. One song ” The Rhode Island Redhead From Pawtucket ” was on the TV program “Songs For Sale” in the 50’s. It was a contest for unknown song writers and my Mothers song won. You can hear Teresa Brewer sing it on You Tube.
My Mother wrote a song ” A Man Searching For Dream” The lyrics and music have the power and emotional impact of both “You’ll Never Walk Alone and “I Believe. I wanted to bring this song to the M&G last June and give it to the Guys but my sister said we first have explore copy write laws. At this point in my life I would just love to honor my Mother and get this memorable song out there. In my head I can hear Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero singing this song with their powerful voices which dissolves me into tears just as the other two songs do. Even though there are millions of songs they could sing– my dream and my wish is that they will sing my Mothers song someday.
Sorry this is so wordy but my Mother has been gone for 50 years and I have always wanted her music to get the recognition it deserves. Now I have introduced her to you–her name was Kay Wells. Maybe just maybe the guys will read this and be interested. That would be a dream come true.
Joanie, what a beautiful story. To honor your mother this many years later by having her music sung would be truly an amazing gift. I hope you succeed.

NBJamesonD, I agree with your wanting them to do some of their own music. Also, would like to see one of them play piano for the other. I’m thinking the more versatile, diverse and creative they are, the more in demand they will be. Just so they don’t change what got them where they are today. They are darn near perfect now, but think what they would be, using ALL the talents they’ve been given! God certainly was generous with his blessings towards them. What a gift to us as well.
Kitty I agree about the more diverse they are the better. I also think they need to be OUT THERE….in public, like the scene at the airport. They may have been surprised and thrilled to see fans there but the media picks it up too and the more the boys are SEEN (I went to the invite-only concert and m & g at NY’s JFK Airport in 2012) the better. They need to be out there. Also think if they would release the album BEFORE Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa, the sales and exposure would be tremendous!!!!
