I tried to write a little blessing for you, but I found this and I cannot do better. It speaks about this country, but the sentiments are the same for each of our countries.
“Christmas is a season of hope and joy. a time to give thanks for the blessings of Christ’s birth and for the blessings that surround us every day of the year. We have much to be thankful for in this country and we have a responsibility to help those in need. Jesus calls us to help others and acts of kindness toward the less fortunate fulfill the spirit of the Christmas season.
On Christmas, we pray for freedom, justice and peace on earth. We remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom and we ask for God’s blessing on their loved ones. We ask God to watch over all of our men and women in uniform, many who are serving in distant lands. Our entire nation is grateful to them and we pray for their safe return.”

Whoohoo, just saw il Volo on Access Hollywood in Chicago and they mentioned their new cd Grande Amore and how good looking they were and then Gianluca spoke about bringing Italian music to the world.

I had a great moment today. I turned on a Christmas playlist and set the screen to rest. Instead an IL VOLO photos slideshow I had made a couple years ago popped up. I just sat there and watched every photo with the biggest grin on my face!
3 days ago I reached up in my closet and a rib dislocated. (major ouch!) And by grace beyond my understanding, it has now gone back into place, and I’m nearly 100% recovered.
IL VOLO Christmas music was part of the healing regimen! 😉
