I hope they come back to Vegas next year, it is the perfect venue (except for Italy)
I loved meeting all of the fan’s, we had such fun didn’t we?

Il Volo Las Vegas  A few more photos. This time with my aunt was special from beginning to end. It was my first time seeing the boys in concert and it was beyond incredible. Their music was a balm to my heart bringing me closer to my mother with every song they sang. They have awakened in me an even deeper appreciation of how music can inspire & heal. Thanks for the great trip Aunty! We had the time of our lives!:)   Laura

I also have to add this little note from Gale:

I just wanted to let you know I recruited two more that attended the Oklahoma City concert and now are Il Volo vans.  Janet and Terry, her husband.
The concert was great and I wouldn’t have missed it for anything.   I hope some day to attend another concert and Meet and Greet.    Love Il Volo.

  1. These are all such great photos. Was so incredibly fun meeting so many of the faces from here. Just walking through the casino, restaurants, pool area… people would stop you when they saw the lanyard and strike up a conversation. So many of these folks seemed to connect so easily…but then that’s what IL VOLO LOVE does to all…connects you heart to heart!

  2. All these photos are so beautiful, Marie! I’m excited that you included mine. First concert that I was free to take photos during the show; it was such a treat!

Thanks to OMG VIP, whose photo I cropped to include in my collage! (being used with permission)

Sweet message from you, Laura, and so true! Ann, it was great to see you. Next time we’ll get to talk, I hope!

Prese, your birthday story and the guys’ response so uplifted my heart! So great to meet you!

Good to see my roomie LindaP, Ineke (wish we’d had time to hang out together and visit more!), Marie, and all of you!

Marie, I love your grand finale photo with sentiments I hold in my heart! Brings tears!

And to Jill and others who mentioned amnesia with the guys, I honestly don’t know if I hugged them this time at the Meet & Greet. (If anyone saw, do let me know.) I do know that I felt like all three were cuddled around me during the photo. It doesn’t show in the picture, but I so remember that cozy nurtured feeling! And what a special opportunity to be able to give them a special note. (I waited 2 years for that!)

    Grazie mille and grande amore!
    Jeanine

    • Oh my gosh. I just reread what I wrote and saw that nearly every sentence ended in a “!” I guess that’s the truth of the sentiments. Simply… WOWWW!!!

      😉

    • Jeanine, it was my pleasure meeting you as well. My family were so kind as to surprise me with an “IL VOLO” themed 70th bday bash. Photo booth and candy counters and karaoke. A friend sang to me “Unforgettable” and my son sang “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You”. I missed all of you and our boys once the 25th passed. I can now put faces with each post. I hope we can all get together again. Vegas was the perfect venue. Until then.

    • Hi Jeanine, I agree that we had too little time to get to know each other better, but I enjoyed the afternoon we spent with you for your birthday. I also want to tell you that the injury on my hand has healed completely. I would like to thank you again for your help.

      • I agree, Ineke, that the birthday dinner and wandering around Cafe Bellagio was delightful. And great news about your hand! It was such an honor to be of assistance. A truly special moment.

Already looking forward to next time!

        Many blessings,
        Jeanine

      • Ineke, hello. How are you? I hope you had a comfortable trip back home. It was such a pleasure meeting you and being at the same table . I tried emailing you a few times to just let you know my son’ s condition after his liver transplant during IL VOLO’s concert. It was a miracle indeed. (8:00 PM 3/25/16) so unexpected. I cried during the beautiful concert and for my son’s second chance in life. He is doing well.

  3. Thank You, Jeanine. I thought your pictures were smashing! Especially the collage.

I am amazed at what Prese’s wonderful family did for her birthday!

I am also amazed that Ann would go anywhere with Laura. If she came with me to meet the Boys she would have “ugly up” a bit.

Suzy…why does everyone have a picture of you attacking Gian? Humm?

Thank you for posting my pictures Marie. All the photos are so incredible. Had sooooo much fun meeting so many of you. Thank Marie for all your prayers for my son. He did doing better each day.

    • Yes, Marie, my sweet niece Laura is so lovely. She really loved the boys and was really surprised when Ignacio waved to her at the theatre – and she loved it. I think I know who her favorite is now. lol

  4. Thank you for posting these pictures of the Fan Faire … It was such a grand event, my only disappointment is that I was not able to spend more time with each and everyone who was attended… I thought we had all the time in the world to get acquainted, but time went so fast that I think the entire event was on fast forward…
Our guys really were surprised to see so many fans and from all over the world… It was truly a day to remember and live over and over again in our minds and hearts… These pictures will certainly help us all do that…
For more pictures please visit our website … I have posted pictures there for all to see…

If you have pictures you would like to be shared on our Il Volo Fan Faire website, please email me at IlVolo2LV@outlook.com… I will be happy to post them…

Thank you again Marie and Kelly for being such a great supporter of our Fan Faire… Your support means a lot to both Myself and Myron…

Thanks to all who attended our Fan Faire, you made it a success…

    • Jeannette, your photo with Barbara Vitali is absolutely precious. I feel the love. And I was so grateful at the Fan Faire when you talked to the guys about the love they bring.

I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the photos on the Fan Faire page, as well as Musical Notes Global article about IL VOLO’s first ever Fan Faire. Been thinking of you a lot lately, Jeannette. Good to hear from you! And as I commented on the MNG article, “Myron and Jeannette, you helped create magic! Which, of course, is a common occurrence anywhere IL VOLO and their music may roam.”

      Loving gratitude,
      Jeanine

      • Thank you so much Jeanine,
We had hoped that it would be a night to remember, and if we helped create Magic then we were successful in our plan … Thank you for that compliment it means a lot to me and to Myron…

Wow, I did not know that picture was taken of me hugging Barbara, thank you Jill… It is one that I will treasure…

    • AMEN to that, Jeannette. I love reading each person’s take on the Fan Faire. Each one gives a different angle. for Jeannette and me there are two targets: did the boys enjoy it ? AND did the fans enjoy it ? We know from the boys talking to them on March 25 late, 26th late, April 1st, and 2nd very late – that the boys loved and were surprised by what you all did. We are hearing from you all in such a nice and supportive way. That means a lot.

Please take a look at the pictures that are on our web site. You can download them for free. If you get photo quality paper for your printer you can make real good quality 81/2 x 11 photos.

  5. Hey Marie thanks for the pictures they bring back so many great memories for me even though I didn’t get to go to the formal meet and greet like so may of you ladies got to just being in the same room at the Fan Faire event and being that close to Piero that was better than I could have hoped for maybe some year I’ll figure it all out. until then I have the wonderful experience in Las VEgas. What a Day that Friday was.

  6. Marie and Kelly, I received the IL VOLO concert
t-shirt yesterday!, I LOVE it! Thank you so much! 💕💕 Now, I’m looking forward to the
IL VOLO fan club membership card. Maybe Ignazio will deliver that personally! 😘😘😘. Marie, your Ignazio note paper is so cute. That is a keeper!!! Thank you again for the prizes! Big hugs, Barbara in AZ

    • Hey Barb, glad you like the shirt. Ignazio was going to deliver your membership card, but I accidently gave him the wrong address. He’s here now. Sorry.

Jana, the notepad was a gift to me from Laura B. (that photo of Ignazio ln fireman garb. It says “I’m on Fire!”) It wasn’t a gift to Barb, Just a page of it. You spoiled brat!

  7. Hey gals, I have a photo of me and Piero at the Fan Faire. It is not very clear ’cause my friend used my phone camera and she was unsure. Any way I cherish it . I hope we can do this again . I thank Myron and Jeanette for all the great work they did. If any of your photos show someone in a red base ball cap, that’s me. Love all of you

  8. Thank you, everyone! I’ve been able to capture and save so many photos, my scrapbook is just bulging! Las Vegas was an event to remember, seeing our guys up close and meeting so many of you all. Thanks especially to Jeanine for suffering through the night listening to my cough! I’m still working on that! And special thanks to you, Marie for your welcome and fun time spent together. Ineke, I trust you made it home safely to South Africa! Wonderful to share a meal with you all. For all who share on this site, you feed my soul every day!

    • Oh, Linda, I’m so sorry you’re still working on the cough situation!
I have a friend who sends angels this way:
      )¡( )¡( )¡(
      I know they’ll help!

      Great news about your scrapbook!

      Your words are perfect:
“For all who share on this site, you feed my soul every day!”

As we would say in my Quaker Meeting,
This friend speaks my mind / heart.

Ineke, I, too, have been thinking of you and waiting to hear from you here!

And, Marie, though I don’t comment, I enjoy your banter re: dessert and other such essentials. 😉

      Love to all,
      Jeanine

    • Hi LindaP, yes I am safely back in South Africa. The flight was OK but between the serious jet lag and a bad cold, I was out of action for a full week! I now have such sympathy and understanding for our Guys when they fly around the world.
Yes Linda, it was wonderful sharing a meal with all of you and now when I read the messages on the site, you all are more familiar to me.

    • Ineke, hello. How are you? I hope you had a comfortable trip back home. It was such a pleasure meeting you and being at the same table . • Ciao Prese, so nice to hear that your son is doing well, just know that these days the doctors are getting more and more advanced in surgery techniques. Also thank you for the photos, my family thinks that I have been very adventureous and they love your and all the other photos which I manages toI show on a TV screen from my laptop.
Yes, it was lovely meeting you too and I hope that one day we will all meet again.
It was a long trip flying back into the future – we are eight hours ahead of the USA, and I had serious jet lag! Our poor Il Volo guys having this problem all the time!!!

    • Zdena, thank you so much for your kind words. My granddaughter Zoe is a cake baker. She only takes special order and her work is fantastic. I will tell her you all liked the cakes. Belated happy bday to you as well. Mine was actually St. Patrick’s Day 3/17. I hope we all meet again. I will always treasure that special day in March in Las Vegas. Always.

  10. Hi Marie, so nice to see all those photos that brings back lovely memories. But the last photo with your beautiful poetry attached, really touched me most!

  11. Pretty darn wonderful photos, everybody! Even though I couldn’t be there, from my heart, I am so glad all of you had such a great time! Friendship and camaraderie are a precious thing and look how many of you got to meet and enjoy each other. And best of all, the Guys.
Well done y’all! And here’s to the next Fan Faire! LynnK
