Rendez-vous on 31 December at the legendary Salle des Etoiles for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve in the company of the Italian group Il Volo!
Formed in 2009, Il Volo enchanted for the first time the public during the Italian variety show “Ti lascio Una Canzione” the same year. Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble have become this brilliant trio thanks to the intuition of Michele Torpedine (also manager of Zucchero, Biagio Antonacci and Andrea Bocelli).
In November 2010, they released their first album “Il Volo” in Italy, which became a platinum record. Since its worldwide release in April 2011, this collection of standards, selection of opera arias and soul ballads, reaches the top 10 of the Top 200 of the Billboard rankings. Il Volo holds the attention of Quincy Jones who asked the trio to participate in the single We are the World 25 for Haiti. In addition, Barbra Streisand invites Il Volo to join her on her 2012 tour as special guests. Despite their young age, they have already accompanied Placido Domingo, Eros Ramazzotti and Laura Pausini …
In 2015, Il Volo participates and wins the first prize Festival di Sanremo 2015 with the song Grande Amore. They come out in February, the EP “Sanremo Grande Amore” which contains the most famous songs in the history of the Festival as Ancora, Romanesque Vacanze, Canzone per te, Romantica, The immensità, and of course Grande Amore. After their triumph at Sanremo in 2015, the success of Il Volo does not stop. Their 2015 summer tour in the most magical places of the Italian peninsula ended majestically given by the concert in the Arena, where they unveiled the title of their new album ” L’amore if muove”.
In 2016, they triumph in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
After their stay at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival 2015, we will again welcome Il Volo to Sporting Monte-Carlo for the last night of the year 2016.
