  1. Hello Lydka, here in Italy we are all waiting to see the episode of “C’è Posta Per Te” on Channel 5, but from newspaper rumors I think I can assure that it will not be Saturday, January 7 as the guest will be singing Emma. IL VOLO will surely be one of the later episodes, since their contribution has already been recorded even before the airing of House Party.
I find beautiful the ESC radio news, IL VOLO has an excellent second place, and I’d love to dedicate this further success to those who in Italy has so despised GRANDE AMORE.

    1. Daniela, therefore I wrote about their presence in “C’è Posta Per Te” no official confirmation, because I know that the date is not precisely determined. So maybe January 7 is not the right date, but who knows, in my country sometimes quite often Tv channels are changing their program. I am happy that Grande Amore is still popular and beloved song in Europe and between fans of Eurovision, well deserved success for boys. 🙂 Wishing you very nice evening , blessed Feast of the Epiphany and many sweets from Befana. 😉

      1. In Slovakia, we have Feast of the Epiphany or known as ‘Three Kings Day’ and it is a public holiday. Three Kings, one of the oldest Christian holidays, is celebrated by many Christian churches in Slovakia, also is celebrated mainly between Orthodox believers living in Slovakia. (Orthodox Christians in central and eastern Europe celebrate Christmas on January 7. The Christmas dates around January 7 may vary among some churches. Some Orthodox Christians observe the Nativity and Adoration of the Shepherds (those who visited baby Jesus) on January 6 with church liturgies on Orthodox Christmas Eve (January 6) , followed by the Adoration of the Magi – three wise men or kings) on January 7. ) This holiday is a reminder of a day when God revealed the stars of his son to all nations and of the arrival of the three wise men from the East to Bethlehem. They came to him to bow and bring small gifts – gold, frankincense and myrrh. For us no gifts in this day, because we have St. Nicholas day ( December 6) On evening December 5, children carefully polish their boots to leave on the windowsill or at the doorstep. They hope to find a nice surprise the next morning Then the next morning they find the shoes filled with sweets, fruit and little presents -good children and those who behaved badly would find a piece of coal or potatoes. The evening of St. Nicholas Day men dress up as Mikuláš (Nicholas) with his companions, an angel and a devil who has chains and wears bells at the waist. The trio visits families with young children, giving more fruit, nuts and candies. Before receiving treats, the children say a prayer or rhyme.
Later I realized that I forgot to insert a direct link to a post.

  2. Thank Lydka for the information. . My parents celebrated “The Three Kings” too.
I know that we always had the Christmas tree up till this celebration was over.

    1. Gina, also here we have Christmas decorations at home until end of January 6, after this day Christmas period definitively ended, children start to go to school after winter holiday. I mentioned St. Nicholas Day because Befana reminds me it. The Befana is old woman – good witch, who delivers gifts to children in Italy on Epiphany Eve (the night of January 5 on next day ), she fills their shoes with candies and presents if they are good, or with coal or dark candies ( or a stick) if they are bad. So it’s pretty much the same, just Slovak children enjoying their candies a month earlier than Italian children. 🙂 Have a great day ! Greetings !
